I've escaped accidentally registering late for the 100 euro battle by not having $150 or so. If you register before it begins, you can cancell your buy-in.
Not 100 one, but I did receive a refund once on a battle I was unable to play. Was told it was a courtesy at the time, and that's quite a bit ago.

There is a very valid point to be made that low-rollers are rewarded better on the achievements. It's been brought up more than once before, but all of us that do "high roll", or "medium roll" depending on your definition, will still get 5 free spins at minimum bet, while if you bet $5 a spin, you will get get 5 spins @20 cents, for something like 5 wins in a row, or 100 winning spins.

Dan, back when the battles were introduced, there was a plan to introduce private tourneys. I had some luck last weekend, and would have liked to host a tourney with a cash prize for the non-NetEnt players. I knew that there was already a mechanism in place to allow just that set of players, I did not want to limit it further.
We get to share successes in the battle chats, it would be nice if we could share with others with a cash transfer to the casino to sponsor a battle. And undoubtedly not bad for your business, as if you won $20 in a battle someone sponsored, the winner would probably gamble on that $20, which should mean the house has the edge once they are playing.
You knew that already, why you set up the whole private tourney section that never got operational.
