Resolved by Dan and the Tech team. I did have 22 wins showing. I took the spins from all placings in two batches. One batch half way through the competition then the other lot after it finished. What happened was there had been a glitch/bug. What must have been 5 times I triggered the 6 free spins for a win twice due to this glitch. So in effect it showed as 22 wins in my rewards taken section but in fact I had only actually won 17.
No one's fault and everyone's happy.

There was not glitch in the battles or tracking of total wins. The glitch was on activating a reward. If you double click the reward fast enough you could manage to activate same reward twice and get double amount of freespins. So if you activate a reward of 6 freespins you got 12. This however did not in anyway affect the outcome of the winner of the battle competition.

Yes, there was a bug activating free spins rewards from your profile. By double clicking it you got double amount of free spins.

Videoslots had two options when finding out about the technical issue, one to remove all over paid free spins winnings or let players keep them. Videoslots let all players keep all extra free spins winnings.

Later things got better. Better results, faster battles. But even then, 1 out of 3 times I would have to wait 8 min for next battle to start.

As for the extra competition I think just allow a player to count only his wins from his 1st 100 battles and that's his score . So he/she can play more battles but any wins won't count towards the extra competition . Cant even have a few days off for Christmas lol, well except for a couple of small deposits where i managed to get small cashouts with the help of some rewards.
Oh well, not bothered. Not wagering to qualify on purpose now, if i do qualify again then i do.
Wonder if i will start seeing free battle tickets now, cos i am going to take them if i do

Take the CM Battle that was won by a new member who registered specifically at CM for that battle and hasn't been active here since. What i and many others thought would be a nice friendly competition between CM friends turned into a feast for somebody who doesn't give a "hood" about this community. And he knew exactly that pay lines can be adjusted on SotS contrary to other battle slots and what he was doing! He only needed some medium pays on that 1 line as it was 25x the value of the wins of us naive participants who played along with 25 lines at 1 coin. That he got the big one is another story, call it luck, he would have won it with much less as well.

I said this before, i was really looking forward that one of our low rolling CM'ers has a chance to bag a nice amount of cash and instead they never had a chance because they played it fair.

If it is a CM exclusive then the ONLY people who should be allowed to enter are, at the very least, people who are members at the time it is posted and preferably over a certain number of posts, at the time it is posted. I would suggest a minimum of 20 posts, and at least 1 in the previous 6 months.

Not wrong, especially that CM Battle could have been better planed/executed. Maybe gather and check names ourselves and then a last min pm with password. Definitely not a public post of it.
Speaking of CM Battle, is there ever going to be another? If not now, when? Next Christmas?

I remember one such incident from my college days... we got new 10 gulden bills (4.4euro). The copymachine cards needed to be funded back then. If you put the new 10 bill in the card funding machine, it read it as 100... it lasted about half a day but it still got me 200 on my card.
I bet the cost for the casino or the college didnt keep childrens food out of their mouths.

I've sent Dan a pm, but I'm really upset about a recent 5 euro buy-in tourney on Grim Muetro. For 5 euros and a $20 start balance, with a battle lobby that said 5 spins at .20 cents, you couldn't play at .20, and you certainly couldn't play at 2.00, the default currency.

Battles are supposed to give us some extended playtime with a chance of winning. Race spins and trophies still count, but not cash back.

I didn't pay 5 euros to have 5 spins at a dime.

At least partly my fault for not paying enough attention to the rules, but even with that, I couldn't wager the 20cents it said.

I didn't really pay 5 for a dollar's worth of spins either, let alone 50 cents.

I'm pretty sure it's just a cock-up on setting up the tourney, and had I played my dimes, I would have had just as good a chance as anyone at the top prize I'm sure, it was very low score understandably.

But frontline support has ZERO ability to make anything right. Not that it should matter, but I'm down around 6K this month. So you would think frontline CS could give out a 5 euro refund (or battle ticket) to keep me happy.

If you can't trust your staff to give out a five euro compensation to a player that deposits nearly 10K in a month, you need to either fire the lot of them or invest in a little training.

I felt a little bad for the CRS agent, he knows this is not right, and powerless to do anything about it.

Much as I like Videoslots, they are on the verge of losing me as a customer over such a small matter. No matter how it's resolved at higher levels, I had a pretty dismal experience last month too with frontline support and the team it was escaleted to.

Suppose there's a new customer every day, and maybe a new support member monthly.

I definitely hear you Geordie. Deposited 4 times over 2 days for the very same reason and my deposits coincidentally totalled $90 as well and now I am left with just over $1 with no withdrawals.
