Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

Ha, Now you're one of us. Doesn't feel good does it? :p.....Kidding aside. It really doesn't feel good. I was in battle a couple of days ago playing stickers. I was in 62 place with 60 more spins left. 4 sticky wilds came up and then the game went to shite. I logged off, did all the stuff that I was suppose to. And the game was absolutely stuck in the four wild sticky mode, with a line going across, and a message underneath saying " game restored". I couldn't do anything with it. Needless to say, I was pissed. With that many spins left and the place I was in, who knows what could of happened. I sent it to tech two days ago with the screen shot. Haven't heard boo back. I emailed them and its " being investigated".

I don't have the disposable income to deposit like that. And we both know how bad I do in the Battles, so to me this was a big deal. I swear they don't like me there.lol

LMAO bebo.... Admittedly it doesn't feel good. What put the cherry on top was reading about the free tickets today.

I supported them with this promo after my initial bewilderment when they ran it the first time, hence i am absolutely OK to give free tickets to players who might not have the budget to keep depositing every week as it is a little entertainment and playtime for days where the gaming kitty is empty. But there should be also provisions for player who do deposit 1000's every month.

Had a similar hiccup with JackHammer where it would not continue to play the battle spins, gave up and just dropped the issue. Another time it didn't credit me the FS i had won in the battle. After the usual "cookie & cache" spiel CS gave up and gave them on Steamtower.

What is this "tuesday free spins vouchers" you guys keep talking about, have i missed something. :what:

VS sends every Tuesday FS vouchers with a code for 10 or 15FS on a different slot every week. You should receive the email from them appr. 8am CET.

If you don't, check that you have 'receive email' activated in your profile. Also some email providers block mails from casinos, hence i changed mine from Hotmail to Gmail and received all since.

Personally I am also not too happy. Finally qualified so I have been playing them for a couple of days. I haven't even bothered trying today -- what's the point. So, I withdrew what little I had left and I will not be chasing the freeroll battles anymore.

Of course, I will be returning but definitely not depositing the min 20 Euro or gambling the min 500 Euro. The incentive has been taken away.

Oh, and Harry, me too. Did not get the voucher either even though I've been a regular player/depositer there. Funny, last time everyone complained I was going to state that at least they include us in this and we can activate a few days later if we have already qualified. Well, there goes that nicety.

I agree with you about chasing the battles. It becomes too costly, and for what? Also, I didnt receive a free one either.

Battle slots are boring now sadly, whats point in in 50 places getting 5 spins, it' a waste, needs to be top 20 get prize and if you finish in it you get a few decent spins, prizes are so diluted i'd never spend a penny on this to qualify. coming first in 500 free spins and winning 30 is not remotly exciting.

I have made decent withdrawals even from 5 free spins, so don't dismiss even such a low amount of free spins. Playing the battles is easy - set it to quick spin, auto play, have a cuppa, job done. I agree that you should never spent money you otherwise would not have spent attempting to get into the free roll battles.

Perhaps the first signs that the honeymoon period with Videoslots is over given the recent posts?

I entirely agree with Harry that perhaps the free roll battles need looking into. It is not right to have deposited and wagered £1,000's during a three week period, taking a week break and not being able to enter the battles whilst another person that deposited and wagered the bare minimum is able to.

Videoslots is still the only casino that I play at (other than Energy where I play the Novomatic games) and will continue to do so because of the race money and cashback. I don't like to play with bonuses that have a wagering requirement, because from past experience it never works out favourable (i.e. you hit big at the start only for the "profit" to go because of the wagering).

I repeat what I said yesterday, Videoslots: please listen to your loyal customers!

LOL...that's describes perfectly the current sentiment. :D

About 90% of my play is equally divided between VS & Bet-At and although different strategies for customer perks I like them both. That will not change so soon as both are paying my withdrawals equally quick and treat me fairly.

VS certainly stands out for their brilliant player retention program as it requires regular visits to their casino as otherwise the perks disappear pretty fast.

What speaks for Betat is their weekly 15% VIP cashback on net losses which comes with only 1X WR, so basically cash and I can still claim the promos. If i loose 2K in a week, that is 300$ credited on Friday morning which far outweighs the VS CB and is a great base to start the weekend and quite often i do recover, if not all, but most losses.

Looking at the long term i might add that not only are my total deposits at both pretty equal but also my losses (250$ difference for 2016) and my overall life time RTP. Shows that over time the games run pretty much the same no matter what casino you chose.

The thing with the VS battles didn't really bother me initially but what got me boiling was reading that on one hand they issued this weekend another 1000 free tickets, which in itself I am OK with (see my earlier post #701) and on the other hand kicking customers with 1000's in deposits/month off the list and not even offering a free ticket. I am sure i was not the only one affected by this.

In essence they tell very loyal players to p*ss off and invite 1000 others to the BoS. That was how i felt TBH. :o

Hi all,

I do read your feedback and every e-mail are targeting different type of players from various countries.

There is always some tweaking and testing before you can get a system working in a way that makes most of your players happy and we do think everyone's opinion is important. So we are all the time trying to improve the experience at our casino.

I hope you all will have a great Sunday.

Highest I have ever been to be honest!

and re dognuts as a name - I tried loads of others which were all taken and just put this in out of frustration, only for it to be accepted!

LOL... I registered the soon they launched and there seems to be no other Harry in BKK, hence it got accepted :D

The next one on G'nR should be interesting.

GL with your FS. I won a battle the other day, 50FS on Eggomatic and they paid only 4.50$, hope yours are paying better :o

Cheers, won £2.60 from 10 FS. Actually quite like the look of Thunderfist now, may give it a go later! Alas, my £2.60 will now be invested in DoA for a bit of value betting ...

See you shortly in the GnR battle!

Looks pretty cool indeed. If there is one thing that strikes me as odd it is the lack of innovation in the casino slot industry. This is a very nice example (same goes for the bonuses by the way...)

Hello everyone!

Thank you for pointing this out Harry.

The broken images will be removed shortly, as they are part of an update that we will roll out soon, hopefully.

Best regards,
Daniel.

So we got the freeroll battle tickets few days ago again .. Surprised to see that no one here is complaining about them yet again?

I don't understand the past complaints either regarding the fact that the freerolls are limited to 500 players and getting in is impossible and that the games lag etc .. Why don't you just use the ticket few days later? With less competition you're more likely to win, too. I only used my ticket just now despite activating the voucher code when that email arrived and the freerolls only have 150-200 players or so whenever I participate - lag free, of course.

I had a feeling there were some free tickets issued because of the higher than usual number of participants in the battles. Didn't stop me playing them because at no time was the 500 limit reached.

Perhaps because the max number of free tickets has been reduced (from 3,000 to 1,500??), this has solved not being able to participate. It has not, however, resolved the fact that when you do participate the chance of winning something has been reduced.

The complaints weren't from players wanting to use the freeroll tickets, they were from the players who had met the wagering requirements for exactly the reasons you mention.
You keep your wagering over £500 and doing so you have a decent chance to win free spins and play in quite a few battles every day. However you get up there to be able to do it and find that suddenly for 3 days you can't take part in any as every battle is full in minutes and even if you do get in your chance of winning has been reduced due to more people taking part. You can't just use your entries a few days later as thats 3 days off what you have, in effect, paid for. Thats why people were complaining :(

Hello everybody.

There have been tweaks made to the freeroll tickets, and since you have three days to activate them we feel that there is more flexibility on when to use them if you have just fulfilled the wager requirements.

To make Battle of Slots the best it can be, we must constantly try to see where the limits should be, both from a technical point of view and from a player’s. All your feedback regarding this is being forwarded, and we appreciate your opinions.

Best regards,
Daniel.

As a regular depositor who has triggered the freerolls by spending real money only to see none depositors given 3 days for free I think that is a very fair conclusion

Let it go Colin, you'll give yourself a heart attack!

The 3-day vouchers aren't much use to non-depositors either. In fact, I have no idea what they're actually supposed to do :(:eek2:

That's the last thing I want given that I have just got over heart surgery  :)

My luck in the freeroll's have been crap. I have won one tourney in 6 months and rarely win much. But knowing that I have 3 days of free tourneys every few hours allows me to give depositing a break from all casino's.

Well,that was the theory :(

What do you mean? They'll give you the chance to win some FS that pay out next to nothing .. Yeah yeah it's free though, can't complain. I withdraw from VS small sums now and then thanks to these tickets and the tuesday spins they send out so I'm definitely not complaining .. and I don't deposit there. So yeah, I personally don't mind the freeroll vouchers at all.

If VS really wanted to solve this '' issue '' people have they would add a new tournament tab in which tournaments can only be accessed with the said voucher... Then ya'll who spend money can play your freerolls and stop complaining, though on top of this you'd also get access to the new ticket-only tourney.

I'm happy that they're of use to you, all I get when I redeem these vouchers is a message stating that I needed to deposit to take part in the freerolls. Which is what I thought the vouchers were intended for. I have done freerolls before and think they're pretty good, it's just you can't access them when you haven't deposited!

Which is why I'm puzzled as to the "3-day freeroll" vouchers' validity and usefulness. It's been covered before somewhere in the dark recessess of this thread anyway

I wouldn't shout too loud about that as you might find yourself kicked off from the freebie list.

Although, maybe you could enlighten us all what trick you are using to still get the free tickets and Tuesday FS WITHOUT EVER DEPOSITING.

EDIT: Dan please confirm that this is not true because if it is, you have seen the last of my deposits. As i mentioned previously I am totally OK that VS gives out the Freeroll vouchers for some entertainment to players with a smaller budget and who can't make the required wagering. But if they go to people who NEVER deposit and then "boast" about it here on CM, even mocking members who deposit, then you at VS need to look more closely through your list of "freebie" recipients.

I have been a very loyal player. I pretty much never get a chance to redeem the Tuesday code as they are all gone by the time I see it, due to my time zone difference.

And it truly irks me I must wager 500 euros to qualify for battles, but still receive any free spins I win in CAD.

If you are going to reward me in my own currency, then at least don't make me wager 1.5x as much to qualify for them please. I've brought this up several times, and of course I am not the only player affected by this.

But then again when you spent 1CAD you get 2 race points whilst the European person will have to spent the equivalent of 1.5CAD to get the same 2 points!

True, but the race winnings are also in the player's currency, so no advantage there.

Capture 582.webp

It is only the Free Battle qualification criteria which do not take the different currencies into account but the FS won from a battle are then in the player's currency. In clear words, we have to wager 1.5x the amount to qualify but get lower value FS in our currency.

It is all relative in my opinion. If you during the wagering win big your win is bigger than the person playing in Euro's.

Put it this way, it doesn't matter what currency you play in, you deposit y then you need to wager y x 10 to qualify for the free roll battles.

As to the winnings of the free spins, the CAD player gets more if they say win 1CAD which is just over 0.50EUR

How is CAD / AUD getting more from the free spins?

We have to wager 750$ to meet to requirement for the battles, which is 1.5 the value in Euro but only get the FS in CAD/AUD. So if i win 5 x bet from the FS it is 1$/0.60 EUR, whereas if you win 5x bet it is 1 EUR.

Where is there the more in your view?

You have to remember that the free spins and free rolls are an extra perk, Yes it can piss you off if you managed the wager on a tight rope and cannot get in and if you do you got more chance of hitting a full wild desire than getting in the top few space, But I guess the Tuesday free spins is to get non depositing players back to the site,

Until you cannot get into the battles or to late for Tuesday spins than hard to explain how pissed of you can get, Thinking your loyalty has been let down, But it has not really if you think about it, I deposit 20 odd quid yesterday and didnt even break the seal to qualify for the free rolls :( Unsure If I even managed the min 50p threshold for cash back and that was including x50 spins at x3 CB,

Even when I do qualify I only play a small % of the rolls in any case, As not always here, Or just do not bother as always last lol,

Real players perks come in the way of some cash back and leader board, and pick up prizes as we play,

When the tickets were first given out chat was full of people boasting they had never made a single deposit and had no intention of depositing so I would say, yes thats who they go to as well as people who do deposit.

I've deposited £20 I think since the second batch were given out, maybe a month ago, and not a penny in about 2-3 weeks now, I already had concerns about playing here mainly because of customer service issues, but this ended it for me.

What on earth are you talking about? Where have I ever mocked people who deposit, or boasted that I don't? I simply stated that I withdraw now and then (Read: I've withdrew twice so far from freebies) and I don't deposit there. It doesn't mean I've never deposited, it's just that I'm not an active depositor. I deposited for the 100% welcome bonus, as well as some races few weeks back when I wanted to re-buys after having given a 5€ battle tickets and scoring well on them. The welcome bonus was only couple months ago so yeah, I'm still pretty new to VS. Perhaps the freebies will stop in due time.

I'd deposit far more often if VS actually ever offered bonuses .. but they don't. My budget is very limited, so I tend to sign up at new sites and taking bonuses to extend my playtime. I'm glad VS keeps sending freebies because not many sites do this to me since I'm not an active depositor at any site, and not many sites have wager-free freebies either ... Maybe I'll keep depositing that 10-20€ every 3 months to keep the freebies coming

Are you actually using the reward, though <.<. I feel like you're redeeming the voucher and then attempting to access the tournaments. Redeeming the voucher gives you a freeroll battle ticket to your reward list, which you can then activate within a set number of days. I tend to save this ticket until later before using so there's less competition as others have already used theirs at the start. Once activated, you get three days of access.

If i have not forgotten how to read English then 1. and 2. answer your questions.

I totally agree with Harry. Many of us spend hundreds of dollars (if not thousands) for the privilege or participating in the freerolls. I absolutely do not blame you Distrance -- I would take the freebies too. But, for many of us it is a slap in the face. I personally deposit anywhere between 1-3x per week. Withdrawals are far and few between. I do this because they are trustworthy, variety of games, cashback, races, and of course the freerolls. When I'm totally busted (which is normally the case) at least I get some play action for free. Now that they are handing out these freerolls like candy, I rarely win anything. VS does not treat their loyal customers like VIP's anymore.

I think for people like Harry and me, we just feel shafted after being so loyal and non-depositers gets the same if not better perks then us.

Thanks Barbara. ... let's not forget that VS is not a charity, so somebody has to pay for these freebies, be it battle tickets or the Tuesday FS, and that can only be regular depositors.

I stated a few times that it is perfectly OK to give free tickets to regular small depositors because they might not have enough to wager every week the 500EUR but when somebody posts "...and i don't deposit there" yet keeps getting free tickets then in my view something is not right.
