Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

Looks like they've done a big update to all their BTG offerings. Millionaire seems to be gone at the moment.

Best to check the RTPs of anything you're playing if it's a BTG game.

Oh wow. That's such a shame. Looks like this is genuinely my last month of 1000xp. I'm not going to be playing nerfed versions of games and bonanza was one of the last VS still offered at full RTP.

Pathetic.

No reason to play Video Slots anymore then! Guess I'll be losing my money elsewhere.

They also gutted Mr Vegas and Mega Riches.

Edit:

Another terrible battle night too. A massive 16% RTP from my spins. Yet again not even enough to enter Tuesday Madness. The site really has gone downhill.

Despite it being rubbish on top of rubbish, so glad I triggered my heartstopper bonus on Lil Devil last night.

Would have been pissed if I'd lost 35 collected hearts lol :p

I loved their 'pausing' Bonanza and it's what attracted the odd deposit these days from my usual ABC.

Oh well.

REALLY wish they'd gone live with that zero promotions casino but max RTP slots Mr. Wild spoke off a year or so back.......

That probably died when the huge tax rises for gambling sites got announced and kicked in earlier this year :(

Though it's 100% possible because Slots Temple are managing it and their site has to be a fraction of the size of Video Slots user base. Plus it does still offer small kickbacks and a bunch of daily free to enter tournaments worth 10's of thousands over the course of each month.

OMG where’s lil devil gone, I have hearts collected on that!

@Mr Wild seriously, this is so not right. 😡
Hi @Reelsoffun ,

We understand your frustration, especially if you had been collecting Hearts on Lil Devil. We’d be happy to look into this further for you and check what happened with your game progress.

We’ve sent you a direct message to gather a few more details so we can investigate this for you.

I don't know if there's anything technically wrong here; they switched BTG's platform to Relax (?), so technically Lil' Devil and all the other BTG titles are now different games, meaning collected progress doesn't carry over from one game to another.

What really sucks is that the players aren't informed about this before the changes are made.
And in my opinion, some form of compensation should be provided for these, purely in the spirit of fair play. But since we're talking about casinos, I wouldn't get my hopes up too high

Unfortunately, playing Bonanza at Videoslots ended here. Has been my go-to game for racking up XP points for years but low RTP-shit: No thanks. Anyway the drop didn't come as a surprise; I had been expecting it for a long time.

I love that their usual 'response' is to not respond and wait for people to move on.

Next the 94% games will be put onto the 92% versions and they'll find ways to further ruin battles.

How many people really play Bonanza anyway? I bet it was this competition that put a bunch of us all on the game and made them think they could pull a sneaky and lower the RTP to try to get some extra money.

And now what? No one here is going to play on the 94% version. Nor are we going to another game there that's at 94%. So all they've done is taken away any money we'd lose there and given it to their competitors.

If they thought they'd make more money doing this they're surely mistaken. The casual spinners who do maybe 50-100 spins at min bet every now and then wouldn't make up for the losses from those of us who pumped thousands upon thousands of spins at larger bets.

And this is why Casinomeister is number one for gambling discussion, when the sites decide to play smoke and mirrors and remove 96% games and replace them with 94% games the members here are on it like a shot and broadcasting what the sites are doing without informing its the players.
Very shady business doing this without informing players.

WWTBAM (Millionaire) is back, and it's... 94% GRRRR.

Well that was as close as you could get to a dead cert, when it came back TBH.

Clearly for every one of us here that’s going to drastically cut down or not play those titles at all, VS are expecting 10 other players to carry on as usual, thus still coming out ahead.

While I don’t like their business decision, I’m far more upset that games with persistence eg lil devil, players weren’t given the heads up before hand to remove any value stored in them, that’s very bad, and is really something the UKGC should clamp down on, or even ban those games altogether.

I say this because only the other week me and my friend were discussing a bucket list item of mine was to build 39 hearts on every stake and play them all at once, at the time that was 10 stakes, 10p,20p,30p,40p,50p,60p,80p,£1,£1.50 and £2, imagine we had done most of that then they wiped em all! Disgusting, and would be downright theft.

Seems there is just no protection for the players on these type of game….. @Team.Videoslots @Mr Wild

Games like that and Extra Chilli that store RTP in the progress suck. You're are the mercy of the site not pulling the game, changing the version or progress somehow just disappearing for any other reason.

You're right that UKGC shouldn't allow that kind of thing. Sites should be forced to compensate the value of what you've stored up if they make changes that remove progress.

Ain't gonna happen but when a game got changed / updated etc etc a lot (yes seriously) of casinos offered some for of compensation

One of the best I recall was Trada (before their platform move) updated Immortal Romance and I lost my gold pay table and hence choice of feature upon bonus entry. They offered me £50 bonus with WR or £25 straight cash.

I cant remember where it was but i had the same thing on same game immortal romance all unlocked.

After an update lost all progress and they gave me a £250 bonus to help "unlock" it all again but the twist was I was also allowed to cash out anything over the 250 so if i ran the balance to 350 i could keep the 100.

I ended up just playing it to unlock all the features again and lost it all but did actually manage to unlock it all so was back to where i was for free which was actually a happy result.
