But 50% of the tickets you win will be 'dead' on arrival because the only thing you can use them for is joining those battles that give you a €1 ticket, and you have a 50% chance to win.

If there was a system in place so you could combine tickets or trade them in for the cash value i would agree that the value would be similar.
As it is now you are playing battles to win tickets so you can play battles to win tickets, so you can play battles to win tickets, so you can join a battle with a cash prize and hope for that 1 in 100 chance of placing in the money.

I have only played the ticket battles 2-3 times, but it seems the risk of ending up with literally nothing after 4 hours of battles is quite high.
Which is of course why they exist in the first place, i dont think anyone prefers them over 'normal' battles.

Agree with sit n go's and freerolls, but on Tuesdays it doesn't matter what game is put on it. Everyone has the same chance and the prizes are paid in money

I think you might be missing it.
I assume best strategy is trying to go for the €5&€10 tickets since the 'expensive' battles will have way less participants.

But no matter how you choose to spend your €0.5 tickets you will most likely end up with a big fat nothing.

My own strategy is to try to get to 5 euros.

Chances:
0.5 -> 1e = 50%
0.5 -> 2e = 25%
0.5 -> 5e = 10%
At theory level if you collect 20 tickets from battles, two of these should produce a five-euro ticket.
Of course luck is always case by case. Sometimes I've won four x 5e tickets, sometimes I've won zero

But the theory is always based on the long run and averages

Nothing will be done about the missing battles , that'll be it now. Vs might have extended on the night had it been an easier fix , but I don't recall any battles that were completely scrapped being ever rescheduled in the past.

As for tonight's games, I'm ok with them. Annoying auto is still missing granted, but at same time it's 25 spins and I usually speed thru them anyway if i can not a slice game fan but considering some of those new non paying raw .20s id like to think this one will actually give a little something!
