Rounders are a good/fun idea but the current system is bad
I have an idea for a structure which would be way more popular imo , especially for the players who might want to buyin at rd 1 or use their tickets (which is prob the majority of players). Thoughts ?
Rd 1 £5.50 entry (£25 total) - 1st rd 2 , 2nd rd 1 , 3rd-5th LOSE
Rd 2 £20 (£100 total) - 1st rd 3 , 2nd rd 2 , 3rd-5th LOSE
Rd 3 £80 (£400 total) - 1st rd 4 , 2nd-3rd rd 3 , 4th-5th rd 2
Rd 4 £200 (£1000 total) - 1st rd 5 , 2nd rd 4 , 3rd £120 , 4th £100 , 5th £80
Rd 5 £500 (£2500 total) - 1st £1125 , 2nd £625 , 3rd £375 , 4th £250 , 5th £125
This way you get more chance to advance in round 1 , in round 2 if you get 2nd you get a rerun (currently you get sent back to rd 1 which I don't think anyone really wants) , if you reach rd 3 you will be guaranteed not to be bust this round , by rd 4 you are guaranteed a cashprize at least and if you make it to rd 5 there's still some big prizes up for grabs (and everyone gets a prize) . Generally you will get more play out of each ticket , with a higher chance of getting at least some money out of it . You could have multiple tickets at once of course and the games would run much more often because more people are advancing to or replaying levels 2 ,3 and 4
