Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

I think that if they give out 93K worth of spins, it has a theorhetical value of @95% or so of that, depending on game.
But a lot of players will win way less than $100 from their spins. Now, many people, including myself, will find an extra $30 - $80 a chance to play, and just like a deposit, I might win, but it is more likely I lose.

With such a big prize pool, 60K, some (and hopefully many) of those prizes will be large enough to warrant a withdrawal. VS gets to retain the initial $1 buy in, so that also helps mitigate their cost.

I think I would be happy with VS just giving us a free $60K battle with 250 spins, no rebuys, to replace a free battle weekend, given how steep the qualifications are compared to the past. Especially since they will not be giving out as much as they did on a free entry. I like that there is way less time commitment.

What I do know is that rather than worrying about trying to keep a 2500K wagering qualification, I joined a new casino and gave them a number of deposits that would have went to VS in the past.

Who knows what changes might come next month?

I just noticed in the weekend battle it costs £1 to enter the initial battle is, I assume this does not go into the pot and persumably is where VS make the money back and where they hope part of the £60,000 prize will come from in deposits of minimum £10, I hadn't realised there was an initial fee (not that it matters as £1 is fine).

Sorry above post states all £1's are part of the pot so ignore the above i typed.

Oh yes I made it! The impossible has happened. From the round 1 battle ticket to the round 5 and total result was third place. 302.50 euros.
I guess I will never see this ticket in my rewards again. :D

@Team.Videoslots - Just noticed that new 60K battle news, It is replacing the battle weekend?

I did notice it is 250 spins for each rebuy and the initial, so that means it will cost, €11 for the 11 rebuys, which gives us 2,750 spins in total. So that could result in some crazy scores, Nice concept. But I will 100% sure miss those battle weekends. I reckon the prize pool should be bigger though, as you must have lost more than 60K during a battle weekend. I would guess your casino lost around 120K-150K during a battle weekend. So yes it is yet another cut back.

I also reckon you should not charge us for joining it and getting the 10 rebuys, it should be free in my opinion like the battle weekend battles are.

Just my 2 cents anyway.

Hello @DreamRJ

The new Battles are not replacing anything, it is just a new concept you are trying :)

Br,
Team Videoslots.

Thanks for the fast reply, but that is not true.

It clearly states at the top of the news article introducing them this very line in bold below:

"This month marks the start of another brand-new concept at Videoslots. Replacing our Battle Weekend is a new, bigger and better campaign: Weekend Madness!"

So you see, it is replacing the battle weekends!

Hello @DreamRJ

Br,
Team Videoslots.

So please do elaborate on why you said the new battle is not replacing anything, when clearly it states as I shown above that it is replacing the battle weekends. It will make for a lot of very unhappy people?.

When they originally announced it they said battle weekend will be back in May.

@Team.Videoslots Can I clarify two things here does the initial £1/euro go into the pot like the rebuys and secondly the rebuys I assume the scores go back to zero if you rebuy they do not get added to the previous round?

So maybe it is a misprint in the article then? and miss communication? as they appear to be contradictions going on, hence why @Team.Videoslots said they are not replacing anything. Then they now said they will ask for clarification. If it is a misprint, then they should totally amend the article and get rid of the line that says they are replacing the battle weekend.

To answer your second point, I would guess that no, IT does not reset your score at all. The rebuys never reset your score in the battles. They never have. It is not like the 3dice tournaments where the rebuys reset.

I myself am looking forward to this, and I hope it's every weekend. I will be losing out on the first one because of moving, but again........super excited! Cheap buy ins for what could be a crazy amount of money.
@Team.Videoslots
How many prizes will there be?

Can understand this point Jas but a lot of players, including me look forward to the battle weekends, ideally for some "free" play time, boredom buster, chance of some FS etc etc.

Just one 250 spin battle would be over in no more than 10 minutes and not fulfill any of the above.

I think Junes Battle weekend (I believe April, May are already planned) should be a "Mega Battle Weekend" where there are free rolls running on a 0.20p game and also paid battles running all weekend at a cost of 0.10 to enter, prizes as they already exist for 0.20 but maybe 12,10,8 FS on the paid to enter ones. Personally feel this would attract a lot of interest, a simple £10 deposit would get you into 100 Battles.

May need some tweaking but full of ideas me :p, Thoughts? @Team.Videoslots and others please?

In an earlier post (CBA to look) VS said Battle Weekend (free rolls) will be back in May. Yes replacing for April but not permanently

Lol. I'm good for maybe 6 hours split up over the weekend, anything outside of that, anxiety sets in. I start looking around the house at what " I should be doing".

Hi @steveh35,

We are aware that some of our players, unfortunately, see this visual glitch. Not everyone sees it and we are working on fixing it. Regardless, as you say one of them lead to Final Countdown which is correct we just need to make sure everyone sees the correct picture also.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

@Team.Videoslots - I see both Piggy riches and Aztec battles in the Sit N Go battles :p But there is no 10man Aztec battles though :(

Hi there @DreamRJ,

There are two different sets of battles for this evening, Piggy Riches for the majority of our players and Aztec Idols for our Canadian players who are unable to play games from Netent.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

Ahh ok, thanks

Sorry, but you must be the biggest chatterbox on the planet.

First, complaining you are getting too much and then complaining that the extra is not enough.

All instead of just being quiet and enjoying the little extra! :D
