With all due respect, but you all sound a little naive. Do you really think that the online casino world is a "fluffy" paradise? :D

Ever heard of syndicates or websites for members-only where things are shared and loopholes exposed on how to abuse promotions, freebies etc. With exact math models on what is achievable, what "investment" is needed etc..

If VS is closing 100 accounts, they'll just open 200 news ones - uncle, grandpa, nephews, friends, you name it. All verified, so legit. E.g. grandpa gets a new TV for 150 bucks and is happy as Larry (just an example). So the only way VS can counter the problem is by making it unprofitable or lower the profitablity so much that they lose interest.

Trust me, I know what I am talking about (from my very distant dark days). These are not penny pinchers and the 1Million VS suggested is what they found out, the total number is probably much higher.

Some weeks, they'll make less, some weeks more, but on average 500 - 1,000 EUR / month is easily possible. I lost count just how many times i "blew" a few bucks in the last week alone just from trophy FS and battle FS. If I would have kept it all, I'd have a nice chunk of cash right now. And by all means, I don't play all battles nor do I sit 48h at the table on a battle weekend.

Personally, I play at VS because I like to play there, no other reason. I feel very well treated, the entire team is very responsive, games galore, fast payments, easy promotions with no WR etc etc. The overall package is simply unbeatable. Yes, I could get a cashback deal at other places but overall it wouldn't be more. The usual deals are for 10% cashback if you wager xxx amount / week. Miss it and you get nada.

One reason we don't see it as much at VS is because it is spread over the week. I am getting close to 2.5Million wagered in just over 4 years and my total rewards in 2018 and 2017 worked out between 8 - 9% of my deposits (didn't do the numbers in 2015 and 2016). That is what a casino can do when all is cash, anything more would not be sustainable for a long time. Bonus casinos can calculate with a 25-30% ratio.

However, the way I see it, VS does not have to give me a single cent. There is no obligation whatosever. That is my starting point, anything I get is a "bonus" and I look at it like that, nothing more. Surely not as an entitlement.

@Team.Videoslots I applaud you guys for clamping down on the free rollers.

It has been going on for far too long and has taken away from your loyal players. The mere fact that you came out and were upfront about it makes all the difference. No one can speculate... ask multiple questions and then get flagged for harrassment:lolup:

It's a good move in eliminating players who try to milk the system.

To those wondering how it can be done... it's relatively simple:

You, your family, your neighbours, their friends and friends of friends simply register and make the minimum deposits and wager accordingly. With the help of ewallets, they simply move funds around to ensure they have the maximum amount of qualified accounts in the battles... increasing their chances of hitting the top prizes.

If I recall correctly, VS doesn't have an issue with your husband or your wife having an account. Technically, one household has two chances of placing at minimum value. Now add a cousin and a granny... I'm sure you get the gist of my example.

I hope it ends up being positive and more rewarding for those who do play there.

One silly idea might be to have a battle wheel activated at random during normal play but with an increased
chance of being awarded if the period of play is over certain limit,just to make sure the regular player get the chance
of getting the wheel.If that was the only way of qualifying, it would give control over the ratio of battle play to normal
play and prevent prolonged battle only play.The wheel could award battle tickets covering a variety of time periods,
eg 1 , 2 ,3, 7 days.You would need to prevent players accumulating too many tickets to ensure a balance between normal
and battle play.Just kind of thinking aloud but it could be one possibility.

You are probably doing the wrong thing by increasing the time period to 1 month,it makes
exploitation easier and time to plan it out.A much shorter time period could be better

If they've deposited £40 to qualify at the beginning of the month and not made any other deposit in the following weeks, then the maximum payable would be $400/£200 (or whatever multiple) within those 7 days and £40 after that initial 7 days.

I'm sure most regular players would be happy with £200 extra

An idea maybe but needs tweaking....

Lets say I hit one of those month's where extra bills roll in, hours cut back at work and its rare but I qualify for the battle weekend JUST ABOUT!

All previous weekends, I've qualified by wagering more than double, even triple the required amount, plus made deposits of £500+ over and about the £20 requirement.

I then play in the Battle weekend that I JUST qualified for and it finally happens, the slots run of a life time, DoA wild lines galore, Extra Chilli FINALLY puts out and I have the biggest winning run of my slotting life time.

For a guy who is loyal as a puppy and just has ONE reduced / poorer month to have my winnings capped would seriously piss me off. Yes you may say chances are slim but isn't the gaming world so, so full of irony ;)

I was only talking about capping the winnings from the actual freespins which have been won from battles.
And was just using rough figures anyway.
If you happened to amass 100 rewards from a battle weekend, the amount you could get from them might be capped. but what you did with that money afterwards is not
 
I suggested limiting the amount of battles you could win during a freeroll weekend quite a while back. I would prefer not to see a limit on how many you enter. We can hit a very unlucky couple of hours.

I did well last month in the weekend, at least in part because it was available on mobile. I can't handle sitting at the desk for very long at a stretch. The month before I won two battles on the battle weekend. Most often the happy hour ones were from NetEnt, a provider I could not play.

While I have yet to see one, I do like the tiered XP wheels. I've felt for a long time that the higher rollers were not truly rewarded properly. I am no longer one of those (never was truly, mid-range usually), but it was fun while it lasted.

I did notice while there is a $500 tourney later today, Canadians get $25.00 worth of free spins instead. The current battle had 86 players, and that is during working hours for a lot of people.

No system will ever please everyone, but given the rate of changes, I am unsure what I would be gaining access to with a 2500XP qualification.

I like VS, or I would not play there. I hope any criticism is seen as criticism of certain aspects, not of the casino as a whole.

Why would you be unhappy about one person winning 2 weeks in a row? It's random, maybe he's not gonna place high enough for any wins the next year or two. I won 100 spins in freeroll battles 2 days in a row, and it's been dead since. That's just the way random goes, you can't be annoyed if someone wins twice. If they were to say you can't win twice, then it wouldn't be random anymore. People have also won the lottery 2 or 3 times.

I personally think it's great to see someone win twice, and i'm happy for them.
 
Thanks for explaining the reason for the changes Videoslots. since i found VS i haven't logged in on my other casino accounts and have been evading their calls etc.lol
You guys offer the best entertainment and offer a lot of freebies and you know how to pamper your players. With an average budget a month i might be one of the player that won't always qualify for the events but i will accept that for what it is.
If i may suggest something for the rounderstickets battles....maybe throw in a round 2 ticket for the first place? i mean it's kind of sad if you hit a monster score and get the same prize as the others.

I hope you find a way to keep small players like me in the game:cheers:

Reminds me of a poker tournament years ago, 15k prize pool, with less than 200 players. I was having a game of my life and was in the lead looking for a nice 2k+ payday.

And then the whole network crashed (not just that particular poker room). But they actually honored it and distributed the prize pool to players still in the game (based on their chip count).

I was chasing a small chance at top prize of 2.50 cents worth of spins. But it only took moments of my time.

I won three free spins midday while you NetEntitled were playing for some Rounder tickets.

I think I missed a bit of the point of some of the complaints regarding the reduction in the number of battles, as these were battles I could not normally play, and had the CAD or non-netent battles as usual.

Tirileg, you are not the only evil player. I do feel less hard done by that is not a freeroll with a 3.7K prize to compete for rather than our $2.50 top prize.

But this was mentioned hours earlier before the battle began, and VS was aware of it.

Bad form to change the rules of the race after it has started.

IMO sometimes casinos need to swallow their mistakes. As we all do at times.

I got no bone in this battle, I could not play it. But if I was dFence, I'd be upset to win 100 spins rather than 3.7k.

Once you spin that roulette wheel, isn't it no more bets? Not afterwards.

I think you misunderstand a situation a little bit here. It was supposed to be $500 cash freeroll-that was what VS planed for, and suddenly it became 16k freroll within a minute from the battle started, because every time a player registered, $20 was added to the prize pool like a paid battle.

This problem was not mentioned before the battle started, it was announced as a $500 cash freeroll, and it supposed to be $500 cash freroll, not 50k freroll-judging from number of freeroll players are around 2000.

I kinda understand why VS canceled the battle. Though I'm not going to argue that it would been really great if VS didn't cancel 50k freeroll, of course.:D

Ehh I don't think anyone would expect to win 3.7k when everybody knew that the freeroll was for a TOTAL prize of $500.
it was obviously a mistake and even if you were in first place you would have to expect that you won't get the 3.7k..

Im not sure what first place would have paid with 500€ as total prize, but i would be a bit grumpy if i lost first place due to screwup from vs.
I scored under 1000 both on the malfunctioning one and the freespins one they replaced with, so it changes nothing for me, but i can understand if people that had good scores feel a bit cheated.
 
I see there are 2 wild west 25 rebuy battles today, dont mind those, they are not interfering with the freeroll battles and can be
interesting to play.So far I havnt tried one so as dont really like the games chosen,think you need games like carnival queen
or Turn of fortune or whatever its called,games that have a reasonable level of normal play but can drop big time.
Pimped is ok but is just a plodder,Pink elephants and vikings both have a very low base game rtp which can be hard to recover from.

I believe nobody made a claim that the incorrect prize pool should be honoured. What VS could have done, is to honour the original prize pool though.

Also, some posts are done (atleast half) in jest and should not be taken so literally :)

The point here: sometimes poor luck is just funny. When the game is hitting, malfunction voids all pays and plays :lolup:

Just like the changing of the games. I was told privately by you guys, in a couple of days, probably 5x's. Finally after a month of a "couple of days", your counterpart added one day of changes last Saturday, with no more to bee seen. You guys are so focused on raking in the dough with the other battles. Visions of money, dancing in your head, when your all snug and tight, lying in bed! :laugh: Sad, actually! Don't get greedy, it has a way of falling back. And don't say things if you are not going to follow through! :thumbsup:

Does anyone know how long you are allowed to play battles for after qualifying, It was my understanding and experience
that (at the present moment, i know its changing in april) that once you qualify you are giving access to battles for
2 weeks even if the xp requirement drops below 500 during that time.Does not seem to be the case now.

You can only play a battle as long as your xp is over 500 so in the February battles weekend I could not play any normal battle after midnight until I had got my XP back over 500 though I could continue playing the battle weekend ones as they started on the Saturday at midnight (UK time).
 
Thanks, I ask because I am positive this has been changed recently.If it going to apply the new 2500xp limit in april it
is going cause chaos. for example..
Starting with an xp of zero, a player deposits and plays over 3 weeks to reach the required 2500 then starts playing
battles then does not do any usual play, after 1 week the xp will start to drop and the player will longer qualify for battles,
so the player has spent an average of 100€ for 1 weeks battle play.If the player is not in position to deposit again for a while
they cannot do anything to correct this.I really would like clarification on this.

BTW I am in no way an abuser, I am not depositing at the moment as am waiting for VS to get their act together,
I have withdrawn a couple of small deposits made from battles and freerolls this month,and redeposited,to keep
access to battles, I make no apologies for doing that as VS have still made a profit out of me in march,and
a sizeable profit since j joined them 18 months ago
 
My assumption would be that the 2,500 XP limit is a daily rolling thing. So if you stop depositing/playing normally and only go for freerolls, you'll need to have an XP a fair bit greater than 2,500 to keep it above that limit.

I read it as that will start from April 1st and go back 30 days from then.

I'm sure VS will be on soon to correct me if I'm wrong!

Whenever you register to the Battle, there will be a check to see if you have deposited €20 and wagered €500 during the last 14 days. This means that you can be qualified and able to play today, but if your wagering drops below 500 tomorrow you will lose access.

Someone has to win the first one , so that doesn't come into the odds calculation if you see what I mean . So the chance of someone (anyone) winning both battles is just 1/no. of entrants in the 2nd battle . Eventually this sort of thing will happen . Not saying it's NOT rigged ofc :p
