Well that's exactly same problem what i reported here last tuesday. You can check it from the page 1485.
The main lobby shows completely different player readings than the tournament lobby itself.
Example Midas battle below 500e freeroll. Atm 1800 players in but main lobby says it's full

Hello everyone,

Thanks for letting us know about the issues with registration for battles. We're looking into the situation currently, and I'll keep you posed when there are any updates on the situation.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards.
Team Videoslots.
Just an update, the one from 1 pm started to work fine, however, it got stuck after 32 spins and the balance stopped decreasing and the score didn't increase either.
The one from 12:30, it says I have 15 points and 100 spins to do, however I can't resume it

Hi everyone,

Our tech team has advised that the issue should be resolved now. Could you try and register for / resume battle now and see if you are able to join without any issues?

Thanks.

Kind regards.
Team Videoslots.

The 1:30 battle worked fine for me

ive done a couple of midas battles now - although the second one appeared to stop 'counting' my spins/balance about half way through and so i quit out, went back, carried on spinning and it appeared to pick up where it left off again.

Are all these 30 minute battles all open for the full duration of the day once they start?

Could you try to log out and then login again on your account and see if you're then able to resume instead?

Kind regards.
Team Videoslots.
Nop, didn't work.
But I went to browser history and clicked on the battle and I was able to open it but it isn't playable:
The balance is incorrect and when I try to spin it says I don't have balance to play.
Like, 68 spins left but I had 20€ to play with

Hi again,

I'll send you a PM to check this a bit further.

Kind regards.

PLEASE get the site sorted ASAP and return to the Monday Frenzy or similar....

They were a decent "boredom buster" and these freerolls are painful and impossible to get a winning position in them.
You’re not wrong mate. I’ve done 18 of the battles and I think I might have placed for 5 spins in one…paltry return when a normal frenzy could yield 15-20 rewards.

Would surely be fairer and easier just to drop a number of free spins into people’s accounts on a Monday and be done with it. ‘Thank you for your continued loyalty to Videoslots, have 30 free spins on us’ or something like that.

Thanks for today's 'Monday Mania' freerolls @Team.Videoslots ?

I like this format - spreading them out across most of the day, with a wide registration timeframe and long battle duration gives players a chance to play who might otherwise have been busy in the evenings. Also seems to reduce the load on the site.

It's a thumbs-up from me (nothing to do with the fact I'm currently number 1 in one battle, and will probably place in 3 or 4 others...) ???

Epic Thursdays Battles new format,

1slot "Fortune Tellers Charm 6" 30players only and 3hours instead of 4hours, ok its 8min battles but I have a feeling that non-spinners will drag all battles to full time.

Might be ok if its 3h of working battles but a bit cheap to cut it 1h when its only 1 slot.

The prize structure is different from the normal too, theres 50% chance of winning a prize this time.

Good catch! Didn't notice that.
Quite good rewards actually:
1st Place: 12 Extra Spins, 2nd Place: 10 Extra Spins, 3rd Place: 8 Extra Spins, 4th–7th Place: 6 Extra Spins, 8th–11th Place: 5 Extra Spins, 12th–15th Place: 4 Extra Spins

That structure looks good and with only one slot running it should help the stability of the site during a typical busy period. Even serial moaners like @Video_Poker_Pro should be able to get some rewards from a 50% payout-structure ?

It's another reason why Videoslots is the number 1 online casino if I'm being perfectly honest...

So cutting a battle night from 2 slots to 1 slot and reducing time by 1 hour is what makes them number 1 lol.

I know you love VS so i know you are being serious whereas anyone else posting the same i would think they were being sarcastic.

But anyway just for the fun of it. Can you explain how you see 1 reduced RTP slot that is running for 3 hours , even tho not guaranteed to work , as a better structure than 2 decent slots, that work, running over four hours.

Guter Fang! Habe das nicht gemerkt.
Eigentlich ganz gute Belohnungen:
1. Platz: 12 Extra-Spins, 2. Platz: 10 Extra-Spins, 3. Platz: 8 Extra-Spins, 4.–7. Platz: 6 Extra-Spins, 8.–11. Platz: 5 Extra-Spins, 12.–15. Platz: 4 Extra-Spins
ja, sehr gut?

Dieses Preisgefüge und so ein zweiter Slot, wäre super für die Battleweekends, viel mehr Spielspaß und Spiellust:Daumenhoch:

Dunno whether to do tomorrows Mystery battles or spend 2 hours with the "in laws" can't make my mind up which is worse!

Good structure having 20 battles throughout the day but even if pushed really hard, could not think of a worse game.
2000 spins in only 2 hours??
Good luck.

I think the reason the battles are between 07:45 and 22:00 is because thats how much time it takes to do 2000 spins.
;)

That's a very good question Paul and I'd like to answer it as follows -
  • Running one game only will hopefully reduce site down-time to practically zero
  • The battles only last 8 minutes
  • They pay down to 15th
  • 3 hours means they finish earlier than usual, meaning I can pop down to the Chinese afterwards before it shuts
  • Fortune Teller's Charm 6 is a pretty decent game in all fairness
At 8 minutes long I reckon you can squeeze 7 battles in every hour. If you extrapolate that over the whole three hours and round it down a bit I don't think getting 20 battles in is beyond the realms of possibility. Half the entrants get paid, so on average you'll get a prize from 10 battles. The minimum prize for placing is 4 spins, so the worst outcome from that is you'll end up with 40 free spins, or £8.00 worth of spins for those residing in the UK. Play those aforementioned spins off at the stated 94.06% RTP, experience average luck and you'll have £7.52 at the very least to spunk through Bonanza, or if you're me, some spicy salt and pepper king prawns and a can of Sprite.

I'd rather have a 3 hour Battle promotion that's stable, than last Thursday's 2-game effort that went to shit. I believe that the 8-minute battle duration and the fact the prizes pay down to 15th place will absorb the deficit of that missing 4th hour and 10p slot.

I think 100 spins with one feature takes some 15 -17 mins. So with this formula 2000 rounds takes approx 5 - 6 hours.
You guys get features in that slot?
The only thing I get from it is how ridiculous it's and how it defies logic.

You can have like 12 slices with only 2 brick slices for 5 spins in a row and you already know it will fail every time, it's so stupid that the devs of the slot made it with a theme where you could "see" the probabilities of hitting a good slice to move forward in the wheels, yet you always hit that 0.005% chance of failing multiple times something that should have a 92% probability of success.

Videoslots must be given these free spins to give away as you wouldn't pick that game without some benefit to them or a bit of bunts to promote it.

Terrible game.

@Team.Videoslots couple of quick questions...why are 10 sit n gos running now? When is the release of the month end battle information. It is usually the middle of the week before and I think that has passed?

Clearly it was decision based on customer feedback, for players to fully 'immerse' themselves in the game's many hidden depths, over oh-so-many minutes.

Thus, a 'fan favourite' was born, and in no way chosen to stall players' opportunity to gather as many Rewards possible in the time it takes for that game to play out - even if it means most will have read War & Peace cover-to-cover twice in that time

I don't personally see anything cynical about the likes of Journey to Chaos being hand-picked, and anyone that thinks otherwise is clearly being silly

As @Lemon says

I agree that this new format on paper seems way better actually, anything that helps the site not crash while giving us extra places to win, a 20p game and 8 minute battles more than makes up for the lost hr IMO. Having a 50% chance of winning a battle over 33% will make it much better for times when your luck isn't great and should help even the unluckiest player bag a few spins for their time. My only concern with the format would be game choices, as long as they stay away from games that have a long drawn out features we should be all good.

Still had a few non spinners as well tho but with 8 min battles is a little easier to tolerate.

Its probably far too early to tell but so far I personally really like this new format and so far the site seems to as well, no lags or crashes at all that i can tell. @Team.Videoslots @Mr Wild Well done!!! and hopefully i not jinxed it LOL

It's so slow just having the one battle running, they're going the full 8 minutes too. A massive 3 rewards here out of 9 battles so I'm still at the 1 in 3 rate of rewards even with the 50/50 chance of a prize

This being said, at least the site is fine, no lag etc.

I think these battles would be OK in this format if they were limited to 5 minutes. There's just not enough turnover of them as things stand. 5 minutes is perfectly fine with the right game i.e one that you can turbo spin and rattle through the bonus round quickly.

One forummer with a special gift...to get inside the mind of the good people at Videoslots...

Have to admit i prefer having to spend less time clicking to register battles, and less time wasting HOURS to gain the rewards. But still feels like you earn less free spins with this format.

Sort of like a Nerf to how may spins each player earns from the free roll nights.
That's my first experience anyway, It could change.

And P.S Videoslots!
Journey To Chaos is NOT a slot in my opinion,
But nothing more then a glorified scratch card emulator.

Please can this game stop getting featured in any type of free roll.
There is no way on earth anyone would ever play this game unless forced to.

Muchos gracias :)

Had my usual moan to myself tonight about the format, having played, I take it back, it was not too bad after all.

Slight tweak needed tho, same as tonight but maybe 6 minutes like they planned with the "Blitz" and two games running not just the one (3 hours is fine too)

Unlikely this will happen though due to cost......

I read the comments on the format of Thursday's battles today and am surprised how easy it is to manipulate people. Until recently, we were getting epic 4 hour Thursdays with two games and it was going pretty smoothly. Today we got a fraction of what we were before and yet some players seem satisfied. The most important thing for some people is that there was no "failure". So what if it is all more and more truncated, it is important that it works efficiently. This approach is a mistake because it encourages the casino to make such moves as today's event. They will give more and more and some people will be happy because it went smoothly and without problems.

The previous epic Thurs you'd get on average ~12 battles every hour(accounting for non-spinners). With roughly a chance of 1/3 of getting a prize, so about 4 roughly an hour.
The current system in place today you'd get ~7.5 battles every hour, with about 50% of getting a prize, roughly about 3.5-4 an hour.
But IMO I think it could be adjusted to 7 mins a battle, considering that non-spinners sometimes delay the battle ending by a few mins sometimes, it'd keep the average.
But then again, some of the draw to the SNG freerolls was the variety, perhaps an idea of switching slots every so often?
