Official Videoslots presents Battle of Slots!

I started playing Cloud Quest battle and couldn't even

I tried DOA (dead), went to Bonanza, decided to buy a bonus on White Rabbit (only way I was going to get one), ended up with 4-5 but it just kept giving me my money back, Jungle Spirit (dead), back to Bonanza and a £16 win and I ran - just a typical day at VS for me :D

I know, games that i used to play were DOA, RR, Montezuma, 300shields, bdba, IR, playboy, were always ok and never as dead as BTG. Only reason i keep going back is because i remember DOA when i first played hit nothing for a year and then within 1 week 2 wildlines, 5x scatter and it never stopped. I was averaging 2 wildlines a month and had 5 scatters 8 times at different casinos, so hoping against hope that it turns around. The most strange thing is whenever I have had a bonus with a bigger than usual stake i never even get 10x bet.

I stopped DOA because html5 version to me feels very different, even though the 3 months i played it i had 4 wildlines and 5 scatters once, i didn't like the fact that it was spinning so much faster (i know strange) which meant bad sessions ended a deposit in mins.

I have a folder for screenshots of my DOA wins and it has 300+ bonus rounds that i had extra spins in and i had over 60 wildlines, some of them were disappointing like 154 on 0.27 bet at rizk but most of them ranged from 1400x to 5000x. The over 5000x was actually of HTML5 version where i hit a wildline after 5 spins and double wildline with i think 4 spins to go at betsafe

Perhaps I should give the new DOA another try, can't be much worse than bonanza and danger

Hi there! Does anyone know at what times of the day the freerolls are completely without requirement (for example to have deposite at least 20 and wagered 500 in last 2 weeks). I know the easter battles are without requirements, but also had some others where i could participate, without meeting the requirements mentioned above.

So are the Hotline battles set on 0.45 bet in order to have the full line and RTP experience? ;)

Good on her/him - I did notice that people are up in arms in chat and saying the battles are rigged because of it :eek2:

You might end up in the money, good luck  It could have been my tourney, but one lamb landed on the wrong row in 6x freespins (played all or nothing, 1 line 20 coins).
I noticed some folk talking about playing one line in the chat box but I just played them out with 20 lines. The only person in the top 5 safe for a position is Jimmy with over £300

Is there some reason why anyone would play with less than full lines in a freeroll battle where everyone has the same amount of spins etc ? Ive seen people speak about how many
lines to play etc before, but i can understand reasons for it when playing yourself with real money maybe, but I can't think why in a battle :) (i will just add that i maybe missing a
point or something or im missing something i dont know or understand well ).

Because your playing 20p per line instead of 1p per line thus when something big hits on that line then you win x20

It makes sense, especially in battles like this. Playing less lines shoots the variance sky high. No point in getting 100 maybe 200% RTP from your hundred spins when only 5 places pay. I'd rather try to hit something crazy. Colin mentioned Jimmy, I am 99 percent sure Jimmy played less than 20 lines.

Oh right yeah that makes sense. Only time I ever change lines is when i have spare change after just about running out of balance to make one last spin.. so never really thought much about it really, thanks :)
I've never played one line either. It does remind me of an exclusive CM tournament a few years ago where even the meister himself took part and the top prize was won by a country mile by a newbie who played one line while everyone else played the full amount of lines. The winner was never seen again on the forums as far as I am aware. That must be the reason why CM exclusives have stipulations on rules on entry

I was in the process of taking my turns when Jimmy hit that £300+ and he did allude to it in the chatbox

Yeah it does make sense to down the lines and up the coin value to try and hit something big. As i say id never really thought much about it before and only altered lines to clear my balance when I had
an odd few pence left in my balance. Maybe something for me to ponder next time a similar battle comes up again (seeing as today i think is the last one for easter). :)

Just thinking of that myself.
Cant remember his name at all

They are all talking about the one line strategy in the chatbox. I will sort of feel cheated if I'm pushed out by these people, but I understand that others may feel differently
Every battle features at least three people discussing the now not-so-secret one line stratagem. It's VS law.

Maybe someone will be interested. EV (Expected Value) next Happy Hour Freerolls.

EV of one freeroll for the player: 15/10 = 45/30 = 1,5 fs
10-max freeroll lasts an average of 8 minutes, 30-max - 10 minutes. It depends on the game, for example, the Wolff Club freerolls are longer than the Wild Wild West. But let the average values of 8 and 10 be for all games.

For 4 hours can play 240/8 = 30 (10-max), and 240/10 = 24 (30-max). And in just 4 hours 30 * 1.5 + 24 * 1.5 = 45 + 36 = 81 fs

Day 1. Hotline
81 * 0.15 (min bet) * 0.961 (RTP) = €11.68
11.68 / 4 = €2.92 per hour

Day 2. Wild Wild West
81 * 0.10 * 0.943 = €7.64
7.64 / 4 = €1.91 per hour

Day 3. Wolf Cub
81 * 0,2 * 0,954 = €15,45
15.45 / 4 = €3.86 per hour

Total EV: 11.68 + 7.64 + 15.45 = €34.77
34.77 / 12 = €2.89 per hour

Additional EV for 6 * €200 prizes is difficult to calculate, since the number of tickets received by players is unknown. But in any case it will be very small. I think more EV in the contests for CM, but it's also difficult to calculate.

Of course this is a very small euro/hour, but it's very, very interesting. And there are chances of a super big win in the freespins.
Thanks VS and good luck to everyone in the next 3 days.
