Just wanted to clarify that the 388% screenshot was valid as it was shown as 10:15 GMT when the close time of the comp was shown as 10:00 GMT

Yes it was achieved yesterday 11th but after the 10:00 GMT close time? And it wasnt added here until this morning not yesterday as you state, sorry if it sounds like sour grapes but I just want to make sure I lost the comp fairly.

Yeah was a bit of a kick in the teeth for me seeing as the normal rules would have resulted me being a winner, but hey ho, that my luck LOL, Thanks VS for the comp, congrats to the winners, but its put me off a little participating in future ones if anyone can just join up at last minute and be eligible for CM exclusive comps, after all this is why that rule was there in the first place.

Again congrats the the winners, i will now go and find a slot to take my frustration out on, but it wont be "coins of egypt" it's naff LOL

Why I am 100% Grateful for 3rd prize, and I hope this does not sound like sour grapes, I do agree with people who have messaged me saying I should of won, I mean 1 of the winners wasnt even active for 2+ years, and one of them signed up same day they posted. The promo was for casinomeister members only, The 2 winners must of found out about the competition another way. Oh well Malta would of nice. Staying in good old Dudley for me.

No way should a person be allowed to register just for the competition. They even said as much, and you enable them and turn a blind eye. Poor show.

Specify posting or membership criteria before holding a comp, or use discretion at least. These are pretty good prizes and not 20 spins on Berry Burst

I know VS see people here as 'all the same'. Fact is if you post a competition on Casinomeister then it should mean something, not just in name-only. Allowing any hit & run registree to nab a top prize takes the mick.

Otherwise just post these on Facebook and be done with

Agreed, I don't see how someone can be a member on here for the rules of the competition if they weren't a member when it started, and, from what I can see from the screenshot, only joined after getting the win (although that could be wrong).

I said at the time, the soon you put out serious money you will have Jim&Johnny crawling our from the dungeons just to take part and miraculously win the comp too.

It feels like a kick in the face that an active member, who actually contributes to this forum and VS, could have gone on a nice trip to Malta, only to be losing out to somebody who signs up hours before the contest closes, collects the goodies and is instantly on his way back to the dungeons.

I shall refrain from taking part any further for now. Does not feel like this is something special anymore. Good luck to anyone still taking part.

It doesn't even matter if the winning 'member' goes on to post 3000 messages and stays here for two decades.....other chancers won't be!

With gaping errors on VS' part of course people will do this. If I leave my front door open and leave signposts round my neighbourhood as to when I'll be out, don't colour me surprised when I return to find an 'empty abode'

And even worse if VS have permitted this before. Makes the competition moot, and shows Casinomeister to be 'just another' advertizing space for some

So the 'Winners' get away with it and that's that is it? Shocking lip-service there

And 3 posts? What does that achieve. Instead of plucking numbers from the air let's start with the basics, like minimum three months' membership for starters.

This is horrible and I haven't even partaken. Nor would I want to after this mess

Note how VS (& others) will use their "We can amend the rules at any time" veto but not when actually needed.

I'd be giving the 'winner' a bullet email to say their prize has been voided retroactively, and pass the prizes in order of the other participants. Because, you know, that's the right thing to do.

But that won't happen, more likely scenario us they'll keep things as they were for an easy life
