Hi @colinsunderland,

These fees are not taken by Inpay either, but by intermediary banks that may be involved in non-SEPA bank transfers. These fees are beyond our control and mentioned in clause 2.9. Intermediate bank fees are standard practise on international bank transfers.

I do, of course, understand the disappointment if such fees are taken from your withdrawal.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots

Videoslots will not charge you any fee on bank wire withdrawals. However, you are advised to check with your bank as to whether they will impose any such charges. Videoslots will not be responsible for any commissions applied to you as this is beyond our control.

Where does that say what you are saying?
The charges are not beyond your control either, you (or more likely InPay) can set the form to state 'OUR' and the fees are charged to you. You have it set to BEN to charge the customer.

You are missing the main point though. Previously she was charged 4.61 euro. This is roughly a 900% increase. Therefore something changed. You should have informed customers of a 900% increase in charges, and if you say you didn't know, then you should have.

Regardless of that, when she first complained about this, you told her it was her bank who charged her, now you have changed your story. Had you told her the truth first time, rather than stringing her along, then chances are she wouldn't have used that withdrawal method again, or at least could have no complaints if she knew of the fees and continued to use that method.

Regardless of where the charges come from, how much, who gets them, it wouldn't be an issue if you had replied to her first complaint correctly, as she wouldn't have used that method again.

Do you not think it might be a good idea, even as a gesture of goodwill, to refund her at least the 2nd and 3rd charges, as they were caused by the misinformation you gave her?

Am I missing something? It isnt @helenakp's bank that is making the charge, its the banks used by VS and their processor, but VS still expect her to pay for it?
That is crazy, especially if they havent told her up front.
Again, I am glad I dont play at VS and nothing I have read here would make me start playing there.
You aren't missing anything, that is exactly it.

Hi @deepsky2,

We updated the thread a while back. Unfortunately, it took a turn for the worse and will not happen soon. We will keep trying.

Sorry for getting your hopes up! :(

Br,
Team Videoslots

Guess I missed the update but thanks for replying. Would have been nice to see them return and I know its out of your hands but we'll survive.

Hi @colinsunderland,

Yes, these fees are beyond our control and are mentioned in clause 2.9. Regarding questions concerning communication between us and any customer, I hope that you understand that we cannot comment on that here.

On your other note, it should be handled shortly. We are sorry for any delayed response.

Can you specify which part of 2.9 relates to the fees please?

This is what I don't understand - they may not be in your control but they are your responsibility as you choose the payment provider and they, as your agent, determined the route the payment should go. Or am I completely wrong about that?

Hello @colinsunderland,

I'm afraid that I cannot assist you with any affiliate related issues, unfortunately. We, as reps, are not handling those matters.

Please reach out to them and I am sure that they can help you out.

Team Videoslots

I know, just popping it in here for the record, I have reached out, waiting for them to say no again before I start a PAB

@Team.Videoslots - The Last Played Tab at the bottom of the screen is broken again. It only displays 1 slot which is the last slot I played only......

Please fix it.

Thanks in advance :)

Thats good news, and the right thing to do, even if you had to fight to get it.

If people know in advance of fees then there can be no complaints, but to go from 4 euro to 42 euro without any warning is not right.

Yes Colin now knowing this for a fact its up to me should i make withdrawls to my bank account or not, although there should be some warnings or something

Just an update VS has credited me 112€ as a gesture of goodwill.

I was advised if and when I decide to withdraw to use another withdrawal method as there is no guarantee that I wont be charged another 42€ fee

Good to hear and the amicable resolution I was hoping for.

Hello @Team.Videoslots - looks like there was an update to Thunderkick slots a few days ago which has removed the quick spin function for UK (and other?) players?

Is this something that'll come back, or is it deliberate to comply with responsible gaming rules?

Just wondering!

I'm so pleased that you where reimbursed but what about all of those who have been charged and will be charged in future that do not have a platform to complain in?

@Team.Videoslots Some new games arent showing up under new games when using the desktop version of the site, 6 wild sharks for example, which was released at the same time as Octopus Treasure, which is showing. There are 5 others listed on the mobile site too, but i guess those were released today. Why is the desktop version falling behind? it's not just updated slower, but it's also missing a lot of features like sort by date/rtp/bet size etc.

Hi @MrEvil,

Thanks for notifying us; the issue with the new games are resolved.

The reason there might be a difference in the mobile site and desktop is due to caching from our side, during releases we manually do this once everything has been done with the games, hence why a delay might occur.

Team Videoslots

Thanks.

Do you know if the desktop version is getting some additional sorting options like sorting by date? Sorting by date added is nicer, since you wont miss anything if you dont play for a few weeks.

I see quick spin has gone from Play N Go slots for the UK now as well! Will it also happen for NetEnt slots @Team.Videoslots ?

Might make the 750 wins in 24 hours achievement pretty difficult to get now - any chance that can be adjusted/removed?

Yeah, made Rise of Merlin even more tedious than it normally is :(

@Team.Videoslots

I see that you dropped the RTP on NetEnts Twinspin by a massive 2.52%

Other sites are running it at 96.54% and you run it at 94.02%.

I may have missed it... but can you please advise what other NetEnt slots are affected by this drop in RTP?

Nate

Think its Twin Spin, Fruitshop and Starburst.. For now..

Thx for this ( and Nate). I'm just curious, but were you told about this or just stumbled across it?
I play netent 99% of the time, and while i nearly always play 10p slots, I have a soft spot for twin spin & fruit shop.
Assumed all of them under the ukgc were running the same % for netent, so would never really check them. Reading the above has definitely Reminded me to stay vigilant. And to stay even further away from VS than I already have been ;)

Played a few of the weekend tournaments on Videoslots and couldn't help but feel it was playing different. Went to the help file and saw it was 94.02.

Went off to Allbritish Casino for comparison and saw they are running it at 96+..

So yeah stumbled across it. I dont think VS are in the habit of informing people they drop RTP. Makes me paranoid and now will check everywhere I decide to have a small session.

Nate

Didn't know there was a special wheel at level 30, so that was a nice surprise. @Team.Videoslots Thanks :D
Wheel.webp

Wha?! There was nothing like that when I hit level 30 earlier in the year! Just the usual 50/100 Silver wheel.

Bronze wheel mate not silver, £50 or £100 GBP or one of the three jackpots.

Silver wheels kick in from lvl 50 I believe. :) (£100 or £150)
