Videoslots - Newly Accredited

Finally made it to level 21 and won £200 on the wheel. Half way through £1 bets on BOD I get a message saying I'd hit my monthly loss limit. Instead, every spin was taking from the active loss limit. Seems the £200 didn't top up my loss limit as rewards normally do and I've been left high and dry. Can't even register for Tuesday madness now.

Took out what was in my vault and that didn't even top up my loss limit like it usually does. Has something changed?

On closer inspection something has gone wrong somewhere. Monthly limit doesn't reset until 11th September, meaning previous cut off date was 11th August. I have a 300 a month loss limit and a 100 a week deposit limit. So even if I had deposited week of the 11th and 18th to the max allowed, the £70 I deposited today wouldn't have taken me over the 300 loss.

Strange system.

Is that something you had set up yourself ? , Didnt know you could set a limit on how much you spin ect

Yeah VS encouraged UK players to set a monthly loss limit a couple of years ago. So I did.

It's under the responsible gaming tab :)
Well congratulations on xp21, took me 2.5years to hit and won 400. But sucks about loss limit, I only have bet limit, you can change that in your settings just takes 24hrs to reset.✌

I think thats how its supposed to work.
The reward is paid as cash, so if you already lost £270, then another £30 would hit the limit. Nothing should change your loss limit automatically.

Surprised it isn't a rolling limit though, say you only had a monthly loss limit set up, you could deposit and lose £300 on the 10th, then again when it resets on the 11th. Thats not really a £300 a month limit, if you can lose double in two days.

As far as I'm aware, VS have always had cut off dates. Some casinos use rolling periods, others use set cut offs.

The amount of people who try to abuse RG policies, if I were Videoslots, I would look at that policy. I'm not sure how the UKGC would react to a complaint that someone had a £300 per month loss limit set, then was allowed to lose £600 in a couple of hours, which could be done if it was timed right.

Well I see what you're saying but for that to happen they would have had to deposit 0 in the 30 days prior and 0 in the 30 days after which would make £600 loss over 2 months....which is essentially £300 a month for all intents and purposes.

A responsible gambler would have the monthly loss limit allied to a weekly/daily deposit limit smaller than the loss limit...which is how loss limits work best and is what I do.

Yes, I agree, however, I was meaning the RG abusers who try to get casinos to freeroll them, like the ones who register with gamstop, reregister with a casino using a slightly altered name, then complain they should be refunded. I generally don't have much sympathy for the casinos in those cases where a withdrawal was denied, as if they can pick up the duplicate details on withdrawal, then they should on registration/deposit, but things like this just make it easier to abuse. Just had a quick look at whats stated on the Videoslots site and it is (UK)

After your registration and before you start playing, Videoslots will ask you to specify your occupation and the amount you can afford to spend on gambling per month. Please consider that the above amount will be set as your monthly limit of loss and will be used for KYC and responsible gambling purposes. When the limit has been reached you will get a message which informs you that your loss limit has been reached and you will not be able to place any further bets.

You will be able to review these settings should your occupation and amount change. You can change or remove your loss limit. The change will automatically take place after a period of 7 days. If you want to decrease your limit, the change will take place with immediate effect.

That clearly states monthly, and I don't think it would be hard to argue that a customer should be refunded if they spend over the limit within 1 month. I don't know if theres further detail when logged in, but if I were @Team.Videoslots I would be looking at the wording and how its implemented, if it does work the way you state, just to protect themselves.

Hi everyone,

@sapit222 -- If the provider certifies the games for Sweden, we will get them asap. We don't know if or when that happens, unfortunately.

@slotmaster and @TamingTheBeast -- Currently, it doesn't look that it will happen anytime soon. We will keep trying and update you as soon as we know more. Sorry!

@Mr_Slot5 -- Nothing has changed in that regards, wager free cash rewards have always counted towards the loss limit.

Br,
Team Videoslots

A BEN charge is a beneficiary charge, in that the transfer fees charged by your payment provider are charged to the person receiving the money. Quite why they are charging 3 fees is a mystery, but what I'm sure about is that, they are YOUR payment provider, and if you haven't told customers in advance they will be charged these fees, then you should refund them. It's as simple as that really.
To state to @helenakp that they are fees charged by her bank is totally incorrect, and I can't believe for one minute, you don't know what a BEN fee stands for.

It seems pretty shocking to me that Videoslots are pleading ignorance in this case and need time to investigate

Sorry but to charge 42 Euros per withdrawal is insane, and then to pin it on the bank retroactively whilst pleading ignorance isn't on. No one in their right mind would or should tolerate those charges, I don't care if it's God's casino itself!

Especially in light of these 'sudden' processing charges that no one was notified of. And as a few withdrawals have stacked, from my understanding, Helena now has to pay the bank indirectly 80-odd Euros?

I already payed 84€ for 2 withdraw and they were both from Videoslots casino.

I had other withdraw from Hyper and Twin casino and I wasnt charged not even 1 cent,so how odd is that?

well they say they will investigate and again got message from them that my bank charged me those fees which is not true!
I am just sitting here imagining how many people have been told a similar thing and just excepted it because they have little to no way of arguing against it
Is the videoslots responses to you so far on this matter not just another indication of their decline in their attitude towards profit over players?

They where god at one point but the halo seems to have slipped. Dan would have had Helena's issue sorted out while making himself a coffee

Or tea. Let's not get racist

Tomorrow is another day and expecting another withdraw from Videoslots casino of 272€ so lets see if another 42€will be charged from me?

If so,that would be 126€ fees from 3 withdrawls, pretty nice sum isnt it @Team.Videoslots ?

Not even a cup-o-cocoa site would charge such extortionate fees and expect a player to come back.
I really am shocked

This is true, Dan was grocery shopping one time and replying to me about an issue.
VS must have some pull here, after the dan debacle and the rtp fiasco and now this they surerly are on casumo ground...
How the mighty and all...

just hope she gets her money, they accept it they should pay, we are not In communist China here.

I feel sorry for any new players just starting online gambling, they will not stand a chance.
Totally agree.
many see a win online and think ‘great’ I’ll have a go...
After that comes the mass amount you can spend to even get ahead nowadays, when and if your ahead you get the KYC process...

once this pleasant event is complete and you play a bit more and win again you are then given the little beauty of ‘SOW’ should you be able to comply and provide a shit sample and dna amongst other things they may pay you...

If not best of luck your on your own... and that’s accredited casinos...

imagine the players that don’t know about CM? The great PAB service that’s upfront and honest?

players playing at casinos licensed on the moon (curaçao)

the whole industry is a mess and it’s a shame, used to love a slot, beer and a Indian (Asian takeaway in the U.K. before I’m accused of being racist)

best of luck to the new and uneducated players, they will certainly need it.

There has been quite a few fantastic reps in the time I have been here but very few stand the test of time. Mark from 32Red springs to mind.
After standing the test of time in fora such as this I wonder how many reps stand the litmus test on progress in their casino careers and how many floundered?

I mean where is the Yako casino's rep these days? Never any mention of it :p

Isn’t yako just Jan? I mean he’s the face of L and L and he’s been shit hot.
what about captain rizk?
Louis from casumo..

remember Ben from guts?..
also maja from 21 seemed awesome before certain events and a member out paid to that...

We have homerbart or whatever he’s called who is normally about (promotes rosh and says it’s real) but at least he’s here.,.

mark as you say is awesome, he’s like a barnacle on the site (in a good way mark)

dan as said, but it wasn’t really dan...
Had a few clowns from genesis also whom lasted weeks.

it’s a shame as a good rep I’m sure would get more custom or traffic or whatever you call it.

If it wasn’t the fact Jan was so good I’d of played elsewhere, best rep in my opinion past 4 years easily.

VS in fairness always keep a presence, just not my kind of place.

who was the rep a while back btw that insulted everyone? That was hilarious haha

Just wondering if this had been resolved yet? It does seem disproportionately harsh on helena.

That's nothing. I recall one time he was in the middle of swimming the English channel in a storm when he replied to my issue.
There was no rep like our Dan
