Euro 380 Million Revenue Last Year

The WGI casino keeps growing with lightning speed. The last numbers show that the revenue for the last 12 months was Euro 380 million. This is over Euro 70 million more than when we last mentioned this a couple of weeks ago.

That means that our revenue on the casino part after 12 months operation is about 1/3 of what the Norwegian national lottery has after a generation of operation. This should be taken as a clear sign that people want freedom to choose where they spend their gambling money.

Right now, there is an ongoing casino promotion. Parts of this will be made permanent so that all new players will receive a gift that is proportionate to what you put into the game. More details of this will be announced after this initial round of promotion is over.

The first winner of a laptop computer was from Sweden, and the first winner of a Rolex watch was Danish.

The next time the company introduces a new casino promotion, the members will have good reason to be happy; or as the Australian say: Then we will blow your socks off with the prices.

What does this all mean? It means that the WGI casino is growing to be the largest most successful online casino in history. When the free player memberships are released this coming August players will be able to play the various lotteries and instant games, stock market game, sports betting, and all the casino games. The promotions offered will not be matched by any current online casino, and best of all payments can be instantly withdrawn to the optional Pay2 Visa card, or other withdrawal method of the players choice. Revenue of Euro 380 million in 12 months with not one player complaint, or payment problem.

Revenue means nothing. How much is the profit? Comparison with the Norwegian lottery is misleading, because lottery has a house edge of about 50%, while many casino games have a house edge as low 0.5%, although in practice it may be 2-3% because people don't play correct strategy. Even slots have a house edge in the 5-10% range. You need 10 or 20 times more revenue at a casino to achieve the same level of profit.

In this case I posted the report to point out the turnover in the casino. People who have bad mouthed WGI in the past at some point bring up the fact that none of the members are playing the casino, which the revenue clearly shows they are wrong, just like in all the wrong information they spread. The statment regarding the Norwegian lottery is due to the fact that the authorities over there are trying to block the operations of the WGI casino and lottery, which as has been pointed out in another post is against the law and WGI leaders have filed suit against the Norwegian government for violating the EU internet gaming policies.

That is totally untrue - maybe the support don't ANSWER to complaints or payments problems. People ARE complaining - like with most other onlinecasinos. There's been lots of complaints on money disappearing between Myaccount and the casino, bonuses pending for ever, unfair bonus rules and lately there have been discussions of game fairness. And of course there are the usual problems with not (always) being able to withdraw to the Pay2 card.

Btw. WGI has given lots of sticky bonuses to members - and I'm sure that revenue is counted into the 380 mill. If you take more recent numbers I doubt they look quite as promising. And lets not forget that every cent lost in the casino are from WGI-members. They still don't have any real customers.

Where do you get your information from? You are not even a member of WGI. There is no members complaining of the fairness of the casino. Money has not been disappearing from MyAccount, and the bonus rules are more fair than any casino I hav e ever played at. I deposited $25.00 in the casino and they gave me $100.00 extra to play with immediately. There are no problems. As far as Pay2 is concerned there have been a few technical problems at Pay2 but these things happen, and it is out of the hands of WGI. Pay2 has the problems fixed very fast and it has happened twice since I have been a member. How can you say that members are not real players? That makes no sense, there are over 400000 members who play the casino and they are not required in any way to play in the casino so they are regular customers who are using the casino for entertainment to play on their own. You make no sense, and it is clear that you have an agenda to try and cause problems for WGI, spreading BS to try and damage the company. The company is growing at an enormous rate and is doing very well and I love it that it must just piss you off. :D

I get my information from WGI members and from WGI forums.

"How can you say that members are not real players? That makes no sense, there are over 400000 members who play the casino and they are not required in any way to play in the casino so they are regular customers who are using the casino for entertainment to play on their own."
They are members of WGI, independent distributors of onlinegaming - aren't they? Btw. isn't it still true they're forced to buy lottery tickets and play in the casino if they want their cut?

The company is growing at an enormous rate and is doing very well and I love it that it must just piss you off
The last numbers I heard were 400.000 members around November- and 420.000 around may. Not exactly impressing. You've probably lost 10 times as many members over the same period.

You are required to buy one lotto ticket per week in order to receive your marketing rewards. You are not required to play in the casino at all, in fact members can turn off the option to earn rewards on the casino play of their downlines if their religion or other reason prohibits them from participating in gambling. You must have gotten the "required to play in the casino" information from these so called members you speak of, which just proves that the information you are receiving is false. Every single item that has been posted in this thread from non WGI members has been totally wrong and based on rumors and false media reports that are circulating the internet.

Oh - the info on earning rewards in the casino comes from WGI-sites. Pretty much standard cut/paste info. They say: IF you want a cut you're supposed to play in the casino yourself.

Isn't that true? IF you want a cut of your downlines action - you have to play yourself?

RMR points flushing will take place on your unconverted RMR points if you have not remained active within WGI. To be active in WGI you will have purchased at least 26 Sweepstakes8 tickets for the qualifying period ending midnight GMT on 15 July 2004
Pretty much buy or be gone prosedure?

And to add to this, if all Norwegian members where to be payed what they have outstanding that would amount to 1 BILLION dollars.
So please stop talking crap Black21Jack. The fact is that it's ALL play money until cashed out, something that only the wise will do, the rest will loose it all.

WGI leaders have filed suit against the Norwegian government for violating the EU internet gaming policies.

There are no "EU internet gaming policies". Norway is not even part of the EU, only of the EEA. There is a principle of free movement of goods, services and people and non-discrimination against citizens other member states or against companies established in other member states. As far as I know there is no specific internet gaming policy. There are certain restrictions on the free movement of goods, for example, new cars have to be taxed where they are used or you cannot buy alcohol or tobacco products by mail order from other countries without paying excise duty. What is Norwegian government's argument against WGI?

Lots of fantastic developments. And by the way the information that was posted that there is 410,000 members is totally wrong (again). Current numbers are over 500,000. As stated in the news below there are new jurisdictions coming on board all the time, and that means new investors buying shares, not from WGI but from the available pool that is out there from members. Im so glad I did not lose sight, fall into negativity (chill) and hold onto my shares. Not only am I cleaning up day trading but will hit the payload in the long run. :D :D :D :D :D

Not quite buddy. The reason they have implemented this is to encourage inactive members to purchase tickets. This bennefits the members as well as the company World Games Inc. Higher prizes, more force on the SMG. Get the facts straight. Just look at what this has done to the S8 prize pool.

The Sweepstakes8 jackpot prize of this week is now over 114,000. This is the highest it has ever been. And it is only Thursday! The total Jackpot prize will keep climbing as members buy more tickets until the draw on Friday.

This is the 10th time the first prize has exceeded 100,000 in the history of Sweepstakes8.

Now cited as the 3rd most popular online lottery by www.CasinoCity.com, Sweepstakes8 has come along way since its first jackpot of 4,698.24 on 23 April 2001.

As last weeks winner purchased a Mini Sweepstakes8 ticket this means half of last weeks winnings were brought forward to this week.

Make sure you dont miss out on your part of this record breaking Sweepstakes8 Jackpot prize!

From Friday 23rd July 2004, every 300 points (or 1 Step) in the Points RMR will pay out 65. Previously, the average payout was 45.50 per Step so this is a 42% pay increase!!*

On Wednesday 14th July, WGI Chairman Greg Kennedy and WGI President Greg Young addressed over 1,500 members on a weekly teleconference organised by the WGI Leaders and gave members this groundbreaking news.

Other announcements included:

The cost of a Pay2 card for premium players will be 20, instead of 65 as previously advertised. Purchase of a Pay2 card will be voluntary as this will be a no-cost membership level.

Member Support is now operating 24/7, with a 25% improvement in outstanding cases in the past few weeks.

Telephone support for the WGI Casino will recommence shortly and WGI has plans for full telephone support (not just for the casino).

The Globelot Cash Silo will be operational by the end of July. This means you will receive rewards based on use of the Globelot lottery products, just like the Casino RMR. With a 5 million jackpot every week in the Six Plus One game and a winner every minute in Pick!t, this is a very exciting opportunity for members who sell this product to their downline.

With new jurisdictions coming on board, there would not be any issue of treasury shares in the Stock Market Game new members will need to purchase virtual shares from existing members in accordance with the rules of the game.

Mr Kennedy also confirmed that he would welcome back any member that had left WGI to experiment with other business opportunities. Given recent media reports in Scandinavia about our competitors WGI thinks there is no better time to give 5% back to its community! 5% of lottery sales already go to charity but shortly WGI will also be giving 5% cash back to selected members. More details of this promotion will follow shortly, but if you know someone who has left WGI for a competitor now would be a great time to invite them to return

In closing the teleconference, Mr Kennedy confirmed that WGI was heading towards a long and prosperous future. WGI has the stability, expertise and world class products that many of our competitors lack and a compensation plan that leads the industry.

There are fantastic new products in sports betting and poker just around the corner as well as some exciting new features scheduled for release at the end of July. More details will be released shortly.

What is Norwegian government's argument against WGI?

Pyramid scam :p

Totally wrong again. That statement proves that your information is from your own mind and assumptions and not based on any fact or reported events. Norway argues that the product is an illegal lottery and has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with being a pyramid. Below you can find the Norwegian government's argument.

According to the Lottery Act, 24.05.95, nr. 11, S.11 it is prohibited to advertise or promote lotteries without a permit in accordance with S.6, 2nd paragraph and breach of the regulations is punishable with fines of imprisonment for up to one year. Participation is also punishable in accordance with S.17. Gross breach is punishable with up to 3 years imprisonment, according to S.17, 2nd paragraph.

The Lottery Board has on several occasions announced that WGI-recruitment is illegal on the basis that WGI has a lottery which does not have permission in Norway. The plaintiffs have a financial interest in recruiting members who then recruit new members to WGI. Obviously, the threat of penalty from official authorities is very restraining

You do not understand. I never said that Norway was part of the EU. The lottery products are offered from a state that is part of the EU. The argument the WGI members have against the Norwegian government is below. What the Norwegian government is doing is illegal and against the EU and EEA.

The EEA agreement, of 27.11.1992, nr. 109 regulates any restraints on freedom to establish and provide services for citizens from the EU and EFTS who are already established within these member states, in accordance with the EEA agreement, art. 31 and 36.

According to the plaintiffs comprehension and understanding, the Norwegian prohibition against promotion of games is in breach of the EEA agreement, where the prohibition applies to games provided by a person who is legally established in a member state of the EU, and the business is legal in that state.

The plaintiffs are members of WGI. WGI is an internet portal and website for members who get access to games (not only money games) and other products. WGI has servers in several places in the world and has a license to provide games in several places. International Lottery of the Lichtenstein Foundation offers several money games via the WGI internet portal. World Games Inc. (WGI) is the trading name of a business established in the British Virgin Islands with the name Pacific Delta Investments Limited (PDIL). This business and/or company are not part of the lawsuit. WGI and PDIL are without significance to the decision that is to be made by the court.

As members of WGI, the plaintiffs want to contribute to getting more people to make use of WGIs services, but they are also debating to start arranging other money games with a permit in EU-countries. It matters a great deal to them both personally and financially to ascertain that they can do this without risking imprisonment.

The plaintiffs demand a judgment stating that you cannot be punished for promoting or advertising money games which are being offered legally within the EEA area.

World Games Inc. has also added this in a recent News Item:

In our News Item of 7th July 2004, WGI announced its support of the WGI Leaders legal challenge against the Norwegian Government to comply with the EU over internet gaming policies.

You can now obtain an English language translation of the Subpoena from the independent member website Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

WGI and the Leaders expect to receive a response from the Norwegian Government to the Subpoena towards the end of August. We will keep you informed of any developments.

In the meantime, WGI challenges members all around the world to consider the regulatory regime in which they are operating. EU and EFTA member states in particular have obligations, both to other EU/EFTA member states and to their citizens to comply with international treaties, including those that affect online gaming.

WGI supports the World Leaders challenge in Norway and applauds the efforts of interest groups in other countries who feel they have been unfairly targeted or who are just seeking clarification of their legal rights.

Accurate information is easily available on WGI

Hello to all Casinomeister members

As a new member of this forum, I am pleased to see your vigorous debate. The great thing about internet sites like this is that they encourages exchanges of experiences and views on all subjects. As in all debates I have seen posts in this topic that may both inform and cloud our judgement. i am sure there are a few other readers with unanswered questions so I just wanted to add a few pieces of extra information which I hope will allow you to get accurate information to answer your questions.

I am based in the UK and am relatively new to any kind of online gaming. I have to say I have really enjoyed my limited experience and think I have been lucky to have avoided some of the dubious sites in your 'evil sites etc listings'. I have personally found World Games Inc (WGI) to be exceedingly reputatable and honourable with me, my family and friends.

My husband checked this business out with his lawyer before we told anybody about it and we both consulted our accountant. It is a really new concept after all combining relationship marketing (otherwise known as mlm or word-of-mouth marketing) with gaming. From my work with charities over the last ten years I am very aware that 'word-of-mouth' satisfaction or disatisfaction can can make-or-break any organisation. After all what is casinomeister but 'word-of-mouth' feedback from satisfied and disatisfied customers.

Anyway, there have been a lot of inaccuracies posted on this site and without addressing every single one of them, I would like to inform you of a few useful pieces of information:

1. WGI are not perfect and have issues in the past with the speed of their responses to questions and their provision of information however they have recognised the areas where they needed to improve and have made huge steps forward
2. Nobody is made to join WGI or play in their games - it is isn't for everyone just like casinos are not for everyone
3. Before anybody joins WGI or even gets close to spending any money they are required to read and agree to their informative policies and procedures. All members are also required to re-check these policies and procedures the first time they log in after WGI make any updates. yes I know boring policies and procedures - who reads them well many of the questions you have asked are answered on these P&P which you can access from the World Games Inc before you have decided to part with any money.
4. WGI provides regular (at least twice weekly updates in members own websites) and also sends regular email updates which link to anline newsletters. These updates include reports on representative members meetings with the company.
5. Like all online and offline gaming products, members of WGI can lose money on the games. If any gaming company tells you 'you can't lose' on their games would you believe them?
6. Like all business opportunities some people make money through the WGI relationship marketing rewards and other people don't. I run my own business working with charities and small businesses - none of my clients pay me for doing no work and I don't expect them to. WGI has never promised me 'free money' and I don't expect it. I work for my earnings and have never considered WGI a get rich team. By learning about WGI, supporting and training my team and working with other people throughout the world I have been very pleased with the results.
7. Members of WGI can choose what games and earnings they want to particate in and what parts they would rather avoid. Presonally I love the weekly lotteries, the Pick!T games which runs every 60 seconds, the multiplayer bingo and Blackjack. My overall favourites however are the stock market game and the member bonuses I get for helping my team earn money. Now that is fun. However everyone is different you may like something else.
8. All I can say for members of Casinomesiter is to please take advantage of WGI's transparancy and read their policies and procedures on www.worldgamesinc.com. There are lots of rumours and rubbish out there
including information posted by some members. WGI have informed us that the are now checking WGI Members independent websites to ensure they are only providing accurate information not false claims.
9. Any members of this forum may wish to contact me to ask more questions or discuss what they have read. I am glad to help where I can so please feel free. I will get back to you as soon as possible as I travel a fair bit with my dayjob.
10. Even if WGI isn't for you, I wish you well in your journey to earn money and have fun. I am sure you wish me the same.

Smiles from the UK
