I have not signed up at any new casinos lately after it emerged the hassle people were getting from some casinos over the volume of documentation that was being requested.However a couple of days ago,just fancied a change and joined Betsson. The inevitable request for documentation duly arrived but all i was asked for was a copy of my driving licence (front and back) which i sent off.Got a reply literally minutes later saying the document had been approved and my account verified.
If this is enough to satisfy a reputable casino on the accredited list why are certain others seemingly hellbent on throwing up as many obstacles as possible.

If you’re UK and your address matches. Well and good. You’ve passed the Age & address verification.

Wait till you reach 5/10k. And your payment method will also need to be verified.

It may well be the case that i do get asked for more documents further down the line but the request for driving licence/passport,proof of address and copy of debit card normally arrive in one go either at sign up/first deposit or at the first withdrawal request.Some casinos do verify electronically but this is the first time i have been asked only for a driving licence and then been told that i have passed the verification process.
