Gamble Wallet

Instead of doing KYC for all casinos etc and source of wealth and all this hassle../
Can one company make a trusted gamble wallet (like skrill) which does EVERY check up front and has all identity/verification ever needed for any casino or gambling site? I mean, I will literally send blood and DNA to this wallet so there will never again be any doubt about my identity

Then any casino you join will be linked to that wallet. Minimal registration necessary. Instant deposits from wallet. Speedy withdrawals to wallet (only checks about bonus terms etc). Never any kyc or other requests from individual casinos.
Deposits to wallet are done from linked bank account with affordability checks. Funds in wallet are "gamble funds" and unrestricted. Casino winnings (lol) are withdrawn to gamble wallet. You have a debit card linked to gamble wallet and can spend funds IRL or you can withdraw to linked bank account but any deposits to gamble wallet are closely checked/regulated.
Basically a one-stop shop where all identity/affordability requests are taken care of so casinos don't have to do it individually and we players only have to jump through hoops once and not repeatedly - most importantly to take away the power from casinos to seemingly demand any personal information they like and use it as stalling or even an excuse not to pay out

so you need to do SOW with that wallet and share all your info? then they will make lot of £ selling everything about you
just like DVLA
DVLA pocketed a massive £23.9million in gross income by selling driver information to these third parties

but don't we currently have to do that with a bunch of casinos anyway? and they have the added agenda of trying to find reasons not to pay you. Sure, it needs to be a trusted company

Sounds like it ought to be a good idea, but unlikely to ever be used as a 'universal' KYC one-stop shop.

You'd never get casinos agreeing on such a system as their interpretations of customer verification differ wildly from one to the next, nor could such a system ever be expected to be foolproof, as details become invalid over time or change of circumstances aren't adhered to.

Were it ever to come to fruition however, you can be sure that it'd be UKGC-led and not for the betterment of online slotting hijinks, but some centralized 'database' from which they can determine everyone's gambling status, affordability and so forth, in that fun, easy-going way of theirs.

Maybe call it Universal Gambling Credit Allowance?

A similar feature has been around for quite some time, but not in the UK. It's called Pay N Play. It's a feature by Trustly with player account creation, verification, and payments all in one place using your banking info. The soon you make a first deposit, the rest is done automatically.

you dont have to do it on UKGC, you can refuse SOW and still get paid, also casinos cant sell your data

It's just a change of system by Ebay, whereby they suddenly implemented the 'direct to bank' method and Paypal payments for sellers. Buyers can still use Paypal!

I had the same notice, it's not beholden to any one person or a case of triggering anything on your end 🤷‍♂️

Just more Ebay bias towards buyers whilst sellers bear the brunt. One can almost see the parallels in modern casinos, almost, as businesses forget what side their bread's buttered on. Uncanny!

I still buy off there using paypal, and never sold anything too expensive, mostly old pc parts and games
I don't even have a current pic id so its screwed me over a bit since i have quite a lot to sell that's quite neich like loads of old vinyl from my wannabe dj days
I will probably have to submit eventually and get a passport or a provisional driving licence. Looks like we will need picture id more and more in the future.
Our pictures are probably being sold and uploaded to facial recognition camera databases
They already have the faces of anyone charged with a crime from the mug shot book
Now they have the faces of everyone else because shady corps sell you data or (get hacked)

Never bought anything off them sites myself due to the long wait on delivery and pain in the ass if you need to return but they have a good rep esp in australia where shipping not to far
Made me laugh the other day when amazon was under fire for selling knives in the uk without proper age verification
When sites like these sell banned uk weapons such as flick knives with 0 age verification from what i can tell yet they get zero mention

Why won't the uk gov call out china

I have bought items from ebay though from supposed uk sellers and the stuff has been shipped from china taking way longer than advertised
It's mostly cheap things like cables and connectors so your not going to kick up a fuss, still annoying though
