A while back i posted this screenshot at the "winner screenshots!" thread on this forum.

(See at the bottom of the page)

You can all imagine the feeling of hitting 4 vikings on your last spin after you are stuck 1100$. The 2000$ win felt completly sick and i registered at the forum just to post the screenshot, that is how happy i was. I then ordered a cashout, but as days and weeks went by without getting paid the happines got transformed to frustration and anger.

I sent countless emails to them asking what was taking so long, i have sent 2-3 PM's to the VIP contact at this forum. But basicly nothing happened. All the answers i got was "Were terrible sorry and we have sent your information over to the acounts department, they wil get back to you". Well, they never did. Last friday i belive it was, i logged into my acount to see how things was going, to my surprise I got a message that my acount was LOCKED.

So now suddenly after over 3 weeks of processing my withdrawal, my acount got locked. I emailed them again and they said my acount was under investigation with no further explination.. I then sent more PM's to the VIP person at this forum, he said he was awaiting information from the casino, well, that information never came.

When i logged into my Neteller acount today i suddenly see that they have transfered my deposit of 1100$ back into my acount. My casino acounts remaid locked and they have confiscated my winnings of 920$. NOT ONE explination given, not ONE email sent to me with information.

Is it really illegal to win? Can casinos just decide to lock your acount and take your winnings whenever you are lucky enough to win? Is there any way possible I can get my winnings back or can they basicly just steal from players whenever they feel like it?

Catching 4 vikings has gone from a dream to a nightmare...

I understand your frustration. It's weird that they are unwilling to tell you the reason why they locked your account.

You said that you have contacted them numerous times but failed to get to respond. Three weeks is a long time IMHO - I think you should contact Casinomeister and Pitch-a-bitch. Then perhaps they will be more eager to talk to you. Confiscating winnings without a reason is shady.

Please PAB here: https://www.casinomeister.com/player-arbitration-pab/

...and I'll get on this.

I have now pitched a bitch, but I don't think that wil make any difference, received this email today...

Dear Player,

Thank you for your enquiry.

Following a detailed analysis into your account, the Casino Management
had initially decided to freeze access to your account and to place your
winnings on hold until the investigation into your case was indeed
finalized.

The Management has now concluded that your account at our Casino will be
permanently discontinued. This is because you have been branded as a
High Risk Player by our establishment.

In the interest of fairness we have refunded the purchase/s you made
with us, however the Casino will not pay out any winnings.

Please note that the Casinos Management reserves the right to close
accounts and to discontinue or cancel all promotions at any time, for
any reason whatsoever and without prior notice - as stated in our Terms
and Conditions.

You can refer to the above statement by going to our Casino's homepage
and by then selecting About Us/ Terms and Conditions (Option 2 & 3),
which are stipulations related to Registrations and Promotions.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but our decision will
remain final.

Guess playing 9$ a spin on thunderstruck qualifies as "high risk"
Blows my mind that they can just refuse to pay me my winnings without any legislation at all.. I think this part is particulary sick:

Please note that the Casinos Management reserves the right to close
accounts and to discontinue or cancel all promotions at any time, for
any reason whatsoever and without prior notice - as stated in our Terms
and Conditions.

Guess winning 2000$ on Thunderstruck goes under "any reason whatsoever"..

As I stated elsewhere.......... these casinos are hurting after losing alot of moolah from the United States, and they're going to pull this shit more and more often. Bryan is going to be a busy beaver. So the gambling ban for us Americans is having its ripple effect for even non American players because even Microgaming casinos are acting rogue now. This is why I wont play anymore until I can play with confidence the way I did with 32Red. Does anybody really enjoy grinding out an occassional winning session only to get to the next hurdle of trying to get the money that's rightfully yours? Not worth it to me.

eCogra doesnt want you to post on a message board about your problems though if you use them to investigate your complaint. So isnt it too late to use eCogra?

A few weeks ago my accounts were locked with the Jackpot Factory group because my girlfriend had a duplicate IP. I first posted my problem on the forum, then contacted eCOGRA. eCOGRA looked into my issue and got the group to unlock my accounts in just a few days. There is no harm in trying.

I have been busy the last few days, but today I sent them this reply to the email I received.

Hello

It is very disapointing to see what I thought was a reliable casino treat their customers like this. It is completly uneceptable to not pay the money you stil owe me from my win. It is hard enough to win at a casino, but when you finaly win, you shouldnt have to worry about beeing paid aswell.

I have filed an official complaint with Casinomeister and I also posted an complaint on the Casinomeister forum. I hope you come to your senses and realize it is everyones best interest to be honest and pay what you owe. (920$ of winnings from Thunderstruck slot) You stil have a chance to fix this before you get any more bad attention to your casino. If you fail paying out my win I see no other option but to file a complaint with Ecogra, Kahnawake Gaming Commission and other gambling sites that offers similar forums and services.

If they dont get their act togheter and pay out the winnings, I wil post a complaint with Ecogra aswell.

Vegas Country is no longer replying on my emails, neither are their contact at this forum, VegasVIP Lounge.

Great customer service...

Have you heard anything regarding this case casinomeister?
Could use those extra bucks when christmas is comming

I'd suggest contacting eCOGRA on this. They've decided to more or less stonewall me. They are not responding to individual complaints.

What a pity - and they used to be listed here.

That is realy sad to hear. I remembered I saw them listed on acredited here as you said and I figured nothing could go wrong. Oh well :\

I have now filed a dispute with eCOGRA as you suggested. Hope they can do something about this case. It hurts the whole industry when casinos acts like this. Hope they come to their senses and pay what they owe.

Well that sucks that a microgaming casino group would rather take the bad press and not pay out winnings rather than own up and pay. I noticed there is no Vegas Affilliate group listed in the Accredited section at all.

Do you normally list all microgaming groups? I notice some missing besides the Vegas Affilliates group.

So does this mean the PAB's filed regarding these complaints are essentially at a dead end? I intend to file with eCogra as well, but want to make sure what's going on here first.

I list who meets the standards. Many of the MG groups are listed - some casinos are pending, and some are not.

The MiniVegas group had been a Casinomeister Casino group since July 2001. It's a shame to see them have a meltdown like this.

There is always hope. I would like to have them for my own records, since I like to track these things, but I would recommend filing them with eCOGRA as well.

Wouldn't expect to get much out of eCOGRA, I filed a complaint with them about Vegas Joker on 22/11 and have nothing back so far apart from an auto reply when I filled in the complaint form on thier website.

You can expect 110% out of eCOGRA. I've already given them the heads up on what's going on, as well as Microgaming. They are taking this very seriously.

You also have to understand the wheat has to be divided from the chaff. There is player fraud involved, but there are legit problems as well. Perhaps a bit more patience is required.

I never got a reply from eCogra on my filing that I know of. Should I re-file? Also whats the chance of a casino creating false information to save their butt? I mean they've had plenty of time for that to happen, thats for sure.

I filed one last week so you should already have it for your records (I got the email confirming it's receipt last Wednesday). I'll file with eCOGRA now and see what happens.

Mini Vegas

I am thankful to this group for the additional 2Gbytes of hard drive space!
I received an offer from Colisseum, which I would normally have gone for despite the harsher terms, and the fact it is essentially a slots only offer, but the rash of complaints and total lack of feedback as to what is happening made me think again and I deposited into an RTG casino instead:D

Until reading this, I thought they were still accredited, so thought it would be a case of all the rash of complaints being explained away by some big fraud ring with the tales lacking some detail as to what really happened.
Shocking to hear that this is an eCogra group, it makes players yet again question the value of this seal - I would expect eCogra to literally throw the book at this lot if they are found to be at fault, even if just to prove that their drive for quantity of seals is not coming at the expense of quality.

suggestions for everyone, based on Gaahl's email

1. spell check before sending to the casino, I think you lose credibility
2. remain professional, not threaten them. It can only make them defensive and consider how to deal with your threats to go public
Probably exhausting all other resources would have been better before saying this to them. What incentive do they have to co-operate now?
