[pab-in-progress]I accepted the $38 sign up bonus (Euros) and played, fulfilled the wagering requirements and ended up with approx $200 in my account, which I then tried to withdraw...about 3 months after winning it.

I deposited $40 because I was only able to withdraw once I'd made a deposit. Before withdrawing I decided to play a new game, an I-slot called Bowled over or something. Anyways my account went up to $317 because i won, so at that point I decided to withdraw $300.

Suddenly I had $0, and according to my history I had only made a request for $230. This seemed a bit weird so I contacted livechat and discovered that 1) the maximum withdrawl amount on the $38 sign up bonus is $190 (fair enough) 2) add to that my $40 deposit and I the max I could cash out was $230 and 3) i had needed to 'close' the promotion by withdrawing or somehow making my account $0 before I was able to win anything else.

I didn't know that. Very odd. Didn't seem to make sense but whatever...

Anyway then my winnings were voided altogether for a ridiculous reason...I had played, whilst the bonus was still active, a progressive slot game. This is apparently a restricted game. However the terms and conditions only say that progressive slot wagers do not count towards the wagering requirements.

My live help guy told me that just because I had played a progressive slot, all of my winnings were void, even though I won the vast majority of the money on legitimate games.

I would happily comply with the terms and conditions if they were actually spelt out properly. This is extremely annoying. The terms seem only to serve the Casino, to stop them from having to pay out.

Plus there was a weird email right after I requested the withdrawl that said "Your password has been changed as per your request", when of course I never requested any such thing, and it didn't even work anyway...what?

I should have expected this I guess.[/pab-in-progress]

This post: 10:20. Received your PAB: 10:40.

FYI, it is generally considered bad practice -- not to mention a waste of my time -- to have both a thread on the boards and a Pitch-A-Bitch going at the same time: see here for details.

You would have known this if you'd read the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ like you were advised to and like you said you had done when you filed your PAB.

So, you'll need to choose whether you want to pursue the issue yourself here, or let this thread sit a while as I work through the PAB process for you. You choice, let me know. Your PAB is on hold until I hear from you. Either way, please read the FAQ.

I'm sorry...I read the first part of the FAQ before I posted. I posted this before I submitted the PAB and did see the Q/A mentioning posting at the same time as P&Bing, and as it said "where the material was posted before the PAB was filed we will determine whether those posts would damage or thwart the PAB process before we decide if we will proceed with the PAB. In the case where the material was posted after the PAB was filed there is a very high probability that we will suspend or discard the PAB at that point" I figured what I'd done came under the first category and decided to see if it would cause a problem.

What would you like me to do? I'm happy to take this down if you'd like. I don't know if this constitutes a P&B anyway or if it's normal casino practice...I guess I'd like some advice from other people about their experiences, as many here are far more experienced than me. I was too impatient I guess...I was really p'd off at them for treating me like an idiot.

...I guess I'd like some advice from other people about their experiences ...

Yes, I can understand that and that's fair enough, but doing so puts the PAB process at risk which is why I say you have to choose one or the other, you can't have them both at the same time. Of course you are free to post after the PAB process is complete but doing so before -- or while -- the PAB is in progress seriously damages my efforts behind the scenes.

I'm sorry...I read the first part of the FAQ before I posted.

Then you would have read the following:
We reserve the right to discard any PAB that where that same issue has been posted to the boards. This relates to threads started by, or contributions to other threads by, the person who filed the PAB. This applies equally to posts made before or after the PAB was filed.

Thus my confusion as to why you would still go ahead and post. Whatever, it's done now and we need to move on.

What would you like me to do? I'm happy to take this down if you'd like.

As you can see I've hidden your original post behind the "Show Me" wrapper, that should do the trick for now. Other than that all you need to do is keep off the forums with this until I've done whatever I'm able to do. After that, once I wrap up the PAB, you're free to do as you please, within reason of course. ;)
