Vegas Lucky's B.J. Software Glitch

Hello All,

On 27 June 2005 I made my first deposit of $500 into Vegas Lucky Casino (RTG software) and also claimed a deposit bonus. While playing blackjack there a very strange occurrence took place. I bet $50 on a hand, split the hand, and then doubled down on one of the hands and the dealer proceeds to bust. The strange part is that my account balance was not credited for the win. I considered taking a screenshot, but I figured all this would prove is that I played the hand discussed above. To prove I had not been credited I would have also needed a screenshot of the hand previous to that one showing the pre-win balance.

Not sure what to do I immediately contacted online support. I explained my problem and was assured that everything was inline. I began to think maybe I imagined the whole thing, so I continued playing. Long story short I ended up busting my deposit and bonus, oh well. Over the next couple of days I ran across a post on another casino forum describing the exact same problem I had had, not getting paid on hands that were split then doubled at Vegas Lucky. Upon seeing this, I emailed Vegas Lucky requesting a log of my blackjack hand history. After a couple of requests they finally send me the hand history in an excel format, but suspiciously there is no column that shows account balance making it totally useless for what I was trying to determine. I contacted Vegas Lucky again about this, but my emails have gone unanswered. My final message to them was to either respond to my inquiries, pay me for the hands in question, or refund my deposit. Since they wont even respond to me I figured I would share my story with you. I realize my story sounds a little far fetched, and the fact I have absolutely no proof probably makes it sound even worse. If nothing else maybe I can save another unsuspecting player from playing here.

On a side note it appears that Vegas Lucky is not the only RTG casino having this exact same problem. From doing some reading on other message boards Cirrus and Casino Extreme are the ones I have found so it must be something to do with RTG software.

Cheers

Andy

doesn't happen at bodog. Maybe they run a different version of the rtg software (one that doesn't cheat).

This has been confirmed. Suprised I haven't read about it here before. Interestingly the "reputable" RTG casinos are not having this problem... brings up all kinds of scary possiblities.

Hi Raol,

This forum is primarily used for discussion and research. If you want to discuss what's up at another website - that's fine. Give a synopsis on what is up, and go from there. To simply post a link to another forum is uncool and breaches forum etiquette.

Just a heads up. Thanks!

By the way, there are some RTG reps in the Casino Operators section. Perhaps you should PM them if you have specific concerns.

I apologize to the Meister for breaking the forum etiquette. Anyway, here is some screen shot evidence from King solomons caribbean 21 that they don't pay out properly.
Only $4 is paid out, not $6, it seems as the right hand is forfeited.

It's strange that they haven't stopped the games, since this payout bug was reported on the "other website" at June 30.

I had been in contact with Andy999 separately via another board, but I wanted to chime in here and report that the exact same thing happened to me at the exact same casino. I had placed a $5 bet and received a pair of 9s, which I split and received a third 9. I ended up doubling on one hand, meaning I had two $5 hands and one $10 hand out. When the dealer busted, I should have been paid $40 for all three hands, but instead only my original bets were returned to me - it was as if the system had treated the entire thing as one big push.

I've attached a screenshot showing the aftermath...unfortunately I don't have a "before" shot, since I had no idea this was going to happen. You'll have to take my word that my balance should be $20 higher than it is, but this could easily be confirmed with a look at Vegas Lucky's play logs. Unfortunately, they have not responded to or acknowledged a single one of my inquiries about this matter since I first emailed them over a week ago. I've previously dealt with this casino's support in the past and found that they always answered me the same or next day, so I find their sudden silence to be extra suspicious.

Casinomeister, I would PM a Vegas Lucky rep if there was one on your forums...they don't seem to have one as far as I can tell. Vegas Lucky seems to be taking the attitude that if they stick their head in the sand and ignore Andy999 and I, eventually we'll just go away. Needless to say, I don't intend for this to happen. And if it's true that this is a bug/flaw that RTG has known about for weeks and not fixed, then that makes this all the more serious. Unlike Andy999, I immediately stopped playing after I noticed this error, and have been seeking the return of my original deposit (it was fairly soon after I began playing with my deposit+bonus that I noticed this problem). However, I have been ignored all the same.

Situation Fixed

Hello All,

After a month of waiting and being told by Vegas Lucky a few weeks ago that there was nothing wrong with their software, I had given up pursuing this issue. Needless to say I was pleasantly suprised by an email I received from them today. Vegas Lucky has credited my account for all the hands I was mis-paid on.

Cheers
