Poverty rate is the most obvious one. They aren't getting the chance to rise up from there. Their schools suck, they are over-policed. If they don't get any help then there's much higher chance to end up in criminal path.
They need decents schools, they need real healthcare, they need to have a chance to get a decent job. And all that without police coming after them just because of their skin color.
In that capitalist country it's almost impossible to get out of poverty. Rich get richer and poor people need to rely on charities since their social security system really sucks.

But aren't many of these poor areas with high crime levels and poverty under the political control of the democratic party/mayors and governers? Obama and bill clinton had 16 years between them as the national leader too, if the worse states and areas needed extra help, instead they helped ship the factory and manual jobs abroad.

According to this whites are more likely to live in that kind of household. Single motherhood etc.
And US education system really isn't working. Poor areas get bad schools with very few resources. So black people don't get the same chance as white ones since black people's poverty rate is really high. It's pretty hard to rise up from poverty once you're stuck in there.

Yes police should treat everyone equal but a wrongful killing by them is no excuse for people to protest , burn a city and go home with a new tv.

In every thread you go on about racism etc. But never once do you even condemn the total disgusting behaviour at many of these BLM protests.

They caused far more damage than anything caused by the storming of the Capitol building.

this would all make prefect sense except you seem to forget...the capitol rioters were going to overthrow the government. Read those last three words...That is the difference between your blm protesters and the capital protesters.

You can see them breaking through a police line outside and breaking a window to get inside.

On the topic of them being able to enter easily: 2 members of the Capitol Police have been suspended and 10 more are under investigation for how they behaved when it all started. They might've been in on it and let them through.

Don't think I have argued they did nothing wrong, overthrowing the govt by force is either a revolution or coup, this was neither in reality.

To me it was more 'we're going to do this to show you how angry we are' [at the election, but also the lockdown and how the summer riots were responded to] still many didn't go into the building, weren't involved in scuffles and fighting, and stayed outside. You always have agitators in protests like this too, on top of crowd pyschology:

"Crowd behavior is heavily influenced by the loss of responsibility of the individual and the impression of universality of behavior, both of which increase with crowd size"

The media never stop to ask how have things got to this stage, see themselves as blameless rather than a force behind divsion and increasing divisive identity politics, add to that the endless wars and 2008 economic/banking crash, you start creating the conditions, trump then winning office was a reaction, a hope of change to make the US better or put things back to when it was better. [80s and 90s in most people's recent memory]

well if you go back to the floyd riots, after the first evening of buildings being burned down and shops looted, random violence, why would you do up your laces on your shoes and head out to do some more 'peaceful' protesting the next evening, knowing that it is providing cover for thousands of criminals?

basically because they didn't care about that, more or less condoning it, one of the democrat politicians or tv talking heads remarked 'it's just property'
