Storming the capitol building by US home grown terrorists? WTF? It's a tragedy that this has happened, but Trump has been stoking this flame for years. Why?

As an American, I have lived as an adult under seven administrations, and honestly - it didn't make much difference what administration was running the White House, it was what was going on locally that affected me most: i.e. Blue laws in NC where you couldn't buy beer on Sundays, no Smoking on the beach in California, plastic bag laws, etc.

So why are folks so riled up in the States? Machismo? Political posturing? They're gonna take our guns? Look at me I'm a bad ass? What??

What is worrying is that over 70 million people voted for him and no doubt a large percentage of those buy into his lies and dog whistling rhetoric.

I listened to James Comey on the radio last night being interviewed. Now, whilst I appreciate he himself is a divisive individual on both sides, he made a good point, that Trump should not be impeached and possibly even pardoned. Meaning, he will not have the public stage to further his message.

Seems like there was more uproar over the Capitol building being stormed, than the billions of dollar damage that BLM have caused with their sustained rioting over months , seemingly encouraged by a lot of your MSM.

BLM protesting 'cause the police keep killing black people. Attack on the capitol hill 'cause the president encouraged it 'cause of election fraud that no one even proved. There's a difference.

I have run this forum for nearly 23 years and have no problem having a debate in public, balanced and good natured. Unfortunately you are unable to do this - and you have been warned ad naseum about this. You are like a pitbull and just can't let go of being victimized somehow.

People of all cultures get killed. Black people should not be killed because of their colour and wish it could be easily sorted.

But if you serious think that condones or gives an excuse for what happens after then you are the one with serious racial issues.

Sorry but if I was a police officer and witnessed the way groups acted and the violence and hatred towards me during these protests it would make me think.

After witnessing and seeing the hatred towards police then if I stopped someone and thought they were reaching for a gun then I would be more likely to shoot worrying about my own safety. Actually the opposite effect from what these groups are supposed to act for.

Anyway it is your choice to support these groups and condone the violence that goes with them. But you have no right to try and take the moral high ground like you do against people you claim are racist.

Police keep shooting black people even when they aren't doing anything. And they are always found not guilty. I keep supporting BLM as long as these racial injustices exist.
When the police face no consequences then killings will continue. When you start locking up these murderous police then something might start changing finally.

Well think about it this way. Someone gets wrongly shot then so many go out and act like animals.

You ever think maybe if they never acted the way they do them police might be less inclined to shoot so quick.

Yes I think shooting of anyone for nothing is wrong. Yes there are police that are racist. There are also police that are scared for their own safety and will shoot first. A lot of the ones that have been shot are not exactly the perfect citizen.

If someone that has various convictions looks like they may be reaching for a gun do you just say well I will let him until.he shoots me.
