There isn't one that says "don't play at all at any casinos anymore", which is what I have done. Just quit totally since I don't trust any other money transfer place. I haven't played since Neteller has shut down. Planning a trip to A/C in April for 4 days to get my fill...:D

Made the change for ya and placed your vote there. It was early enough in the poll to do this.

Heck, I have no problem playing or making deposits it is the withdrawals I am having a problem with. It seems like anywhere I want to play they will go out of their way to help me make a deposit but when it comes to making a withdrawal the methods may go through fine like to click2pay but then there is a hassle getting it back to my bank account.

Like Rettahs, I have no worries with deposits. It's the withdrawals that I am concerned with.

"Yes, definitely - I don't play at all anymore" - Fits for online casino gaming. But I still have $$ online at PokerStars, that I play with. So in the poll, I did not answer.

I am still waiting for a casino to step up, and handle withdrawals in a reputable manner. Once a casino can do this, and get a solid reputation for paying USA winners - hassle free, I will play there. No casino has done this yet, to my satisfaction.

For USA customers. Online gaming is almost structured like a parlay card now. Where you have to gamble and beat the games first, then you take a second gamble on getting paid - if you win the first set of bets.

Yes, definitely - I don't play at all anymore.....i am not a total degenerate gambler - yet

Yes, definitely - I cannot play at my favorite casinos - I hardly play at all.....i did find a rogue / no pay though, with nice slot graghics that i like

Yes, definitely - I have major problems depositing - I hardly play at all......i'm broke because of neteller, and the rogue / no pays, won't give me a marker

Yes, some - I cannot play at my favs., but there are others to choose from.....boy these slots sure have some nice graghics, why was this software on the rogue list

Yes, some - I have problems depositing, but at others I don't
.....the first casino told me i was from a restricted state, so i lied about what state i was in to the second one, the deposit went through just fine

No effect - I have no problem playing at my favorite casinos - law has no effect on me
.....i could only ever afford play money chips, it's all i can still afford

I'm not a US based player - but I am a forum member and want to see the results of this poll.....jeez, look at all these usa suckers, pt barnum was right...hey mom, we should start our own casino

Send me your cocklshells & mussles and you can play at lojos where we rip off the other guy so we can pass the savings on to you

the brits have about 5 days innit? Freedom fux itself off there as well. No wonder they are so angry.

Here's my piss and moan; lebanese money jewish casinos

I predict online gaming will never be 'free' again. it will be tamed by ezipay and the jackpot factory, and when those FREEKS quit arguing we'll have something to talk about.
this we know; The makers do not give a little shit about online gaming. It is not a threat to them and they don't need or want your money

Me, I don gibashid'! I have michigan rummy, keno, and...? i have a deck of cards and lots of dice (456bullshit) Horse They, (they) will never stop us

I haven't spun the reels for real since the day NETeller locked down and the DoJ confiscated NETeller money. I couldn't sign up at Click2Pay -- no new US. There's nowhere locally that sells Gift2Go or NetSpend cards. I've never used my bank debit or credit card for gambling and I certainly won't start now. And I'm not going to sign up at a gazillion different proprietary processors, strewing all my personal and financial info all over the 'net. (I've done that enough already.) And if I do deposit, get lucky and win -- how am I going to get my money out?

The DoJ has done what it set out to do. I wish they'd go away now, and just leave us alone.

Yes, although I only play at the places where I still have funds leftover. Depositing is not even an option for me anymore. Once these funds go bye bye, and nothing changes, then it's probably good bye forever to online gambling.

On the sauce again lojo. :drink:

I try to stay calm. It's obvious I drinks abit. Most of my posts can be filtered by time... much after 3am MST lojo be drunk, much after 7am lojo be awake:D

I'm sure my credibility suffers no more than my game:thumbsup:

Gawd lojo, that reply was funny as hell. I'm still laughing.

The poll percentages would be more accurate if the non-US players ("just want to see the poll results") were not included in the calculations. After 80 votes, the top three "Yes, definitely..." combined is 65%. Without the non-US voters, it would be 80%!!

It sucks how the US Government runs our lives.

It sucks how the US Government runs our lives.
We pay Alot in taxes and we get &%$# on.
But we are all to blame we put them @'s into office.
We will always find away to play if we have too.
I say this year have no one vote for anyone because your only going to put an @ in there anyways.

After reading the replies here I do have to add one thing that I noticed changed in the way I play. Ever since all the problems started I just have considered any money I had left out there pretty much worthless and treated it as play money since I wasn't sure if I would ever be able to get it back into my bank account so I started playing fast and loose with it. Sort of like how you play when you fire up the Guest mode and use the play money. Since Jan 16th my bankroll has increased not decreased with a few lucky hits playing like an idiot lol.

I took my small funds out before Neteller folded it's US customers. Don't really trust any of the schemes that have come onboard since then. All I can do now is play BJ freerolls or "guest" games. Bummer:mad:

US Player

I can no longer play at my favorite casinos. I switched to a casino called Grand Prive - that's the parent company name and the casino is Grand Bay. They were supposed to have really quick withdrawals and everything was supposed to be honky dorey.......not so. I didn't realize that since I could no longer use Neteller for depositing, that I couldn't use them for withdrawals either. I made my deposit with my debit card, comes directly out of my checking account. I assumed they would deposit my withdrawal the same way. However, it didn't come and it didn't come so I checked my neteller account and thought maybe they put it there. Sure enough the casino tried to make a deposit to my neteller account and neteller refused it! What's up with that??? I'm still waiting for the money and want them to just deposit it back the same way I made a deposit. No word yet. If this doesn't go through, looks like I won't be playing online any more at all......... Has anyone else tried to make a withdrawal through GrandBay? They also have Jupiter casino and Road House, I believe.
Thanks,
Billie

So much negativity!

Come on US gamblers! Stop being so negative! True, the UIGEA has put a serious cramp in the virtual leg of our deposits and withdrawals. But I have FAITH that where there's a WILL there will always be a WAY.

Then again, it definitely helps to be a small-time bettor, like me, who only gambles occasionally and for "Entertainment Purposes Only".

(What I'm saying is that I'm so used to loosing, that the least of my worries is how to effect a withdrawal, on the slim chance I'm going to accumulate enough money in my casino account to warrant a withdrawal in the first place. Sheesh! What a run on sentance!)

I admire ya'all who can make a living (or even a profit for that matter) from gambling. I'd love to give up my day job if I could be like you (all). So for "all'ya'all" professional gamblers out there, I say: I feel your pain.

That being said, I think US players should take heart! Look up! (Give us Liberty or give us Death!)

I didn't vote for President Bush.

But every time I've voted I've had to ask myself: Which candidate is the lessor of the two evils?

To my 'rekoning we don't really have choices here in the New Nited States anymore.

I step into a voting booth and feel like all my choices have already been made for me.

I'm writing in Bryan for President in 2008.

Thanks for listening. I'll get down from the Soap Box now.

Oh, one last thing. I reside in what the locals refer to as "The Illustrious State of Alabama". But, I'm just passing through. I'm really from Chicago. And yes, Alabama is alot like a Third World country. The South MAY rise again, but I wouldn't put my money on it.

Begging your pardon counselor, but this ain't no Sunday camp meetin' and faith has little to do with the facts.

The US DoJ is riding roughshod over legitimate foreign businesses, confiscating millions and millions of their (and our) dollars. NETeller along with foreign and domestic banks seem to have rolled over and handed the DoJ all documents requested, casinos and their processors are running out of ways to pay players, players are running out of ways to deposit. The best of the best casinos are either out of the US market entirely, or having problems with our deposits/withdrawals and may dump us soon -- that will leave the independent, and all too often shady casinos and processors who are positively salivating over all these displaced US gamblers. Unfortunately, the more disreputable places will always find a way to take our money. I fear we're going to see a great rise in the numbers of complaints.

We do all hope for a 'revival', but I'm not betting on it -- at least not anytime soon.

I live down south, too. Land of the Free and Home of the Redneck. Born here, lived here most of my life. Live in a 'dry' county. Where voters come out in record numbers to vote against sinful things like gambling and drinking and lotteries. But you find some of those same righteous voters at the state line Golden Gallon carrying out an armload of beer and a handful of lottery tickets and scratchers, or you may bump into them at the casinos in Tunica or Pearl River or Biloxi.

*********

Bryan, thank you for this poll. The numbers have changed a great deal from the first poll. Very interesting.

I've made 2 withdrawals from Grand Prive in the last two weeks. Both ACH and both hit my account 2 days after I received the email that my cashout was processed.

I've quit totally, since neteller shut us out. I've been to
the riverboat casino a few times since, to get my
gambling fun in, but it's just not the same as sitting in my
jammies and playing at home. :D

See ya in the Brick and Mortars? I'm only boycotting Harrah's :)
