Anybody interested in starting a petition to ask the government to examine the actions of the UKGC. My personal belief is that they are doing far more harm than good despite their good intentions. I might be wrong but this is my personal feeling. If we get enough signatures then they have to debate it in parliament.

But they always ask before imposing new requirements? Here for example:

Not being a pessimist. But the anti gambling lobbying is not small and any such petition would receive a lot of opposition. It is also very unlikely said petition would get much support either from the public at large.

Added to the fact that the current govt here in the UK are marginalising a large section of society, ie pensioners, farmers, small business owners. So peoples priorities are elsewhere.

The above just my own opinion mind.

There is nothing stopping you do it though. I am aware that they are sensitive to criticism, so if you were able to get enough signatures then you may find you get their attention.

All the work they have done on ‘casinos not on Gamstop’ was partly due to a research article that highlighted how ‘rife’ it was in the UK.

No because the government doesn't even care about its own citizens let alone whether someone can autoplay or spin a bet of £5.01 or more.

i think you will find Never here Keir and Rachel Thieves are quite happy to have gamblers and casinos right where they want them.
