Happened to stumble across some scathing trust pilot reviews for some of the trusted casinos on here I’m flabbergasted at the reviews and comments considering I trust this casino and many others do on here. my question is do any of you on here rate trust pilot or is it just disgruntled people or can the oppinions be trusted? The below review is about a trusted casino on here! Surely if the poster isn’t lying (which we will never know) manipulating game play is a serious allegation :-0

I thought as much lol, also a lot of complaining about verification.

Yeh i think you got to look at the industry its serving.

Good for financial companies, manufacturing etc

It can be good for some industries but for casinos i would agree with Dion that it will be mostly disgruntled people going out their way to get some kind of retribution/satisfaction.

Was just going to say the above; handy for views of certain types of companies (many of which you’ll be able to relate to) but for gambling, not so much.

Folk on claiming they gave one star as not had a withdrawal: crooked etc - join the club.

Plus, players only tend to cherry pick their stories. Probably elements of the truth in some of the reviews left.

Having said that; need to check Casumos for SOW ;-)

If it's a false claim, you can report it and have it removed. But as a business owner, the best you can do is reply, but then that's a time suck. I have enough crap to take care of.

I don't trust Trustpilot. Not a jot.

Not their fault, it's just happy customers do not leave reviews, and those that do are vastly outweighed by negative reviews (who in many cases also call the positive reviews fake within the text.)

People like to vent. People don't like too leave praise.

That's true, usually people use these websites to Complaint, and just few people adding positive reviews.

add in, sadly, many of those complaints lack merit, making it virtually impossible to sift through to any genuine ones for perspective

Yes and also a lot of *5 reviews the people who’ve written them
Only ever do the one review of said company and dont review anything else. Some companies give incentives for *5 reviews

I've seen retailer reviews on there that were overwhelmingly negative and did in the end turn out to be true.

Yet I've see other companies needlessly and unfairly slated when it's quite clear it was a combined effort to besmirch them. So although subjective, past those comically-opposed reviews on there I tend to take their 'star' ratings with a pinch of salt, as it's obviously agenda-driven

Kind of like.....any open review sites, eg IMBD. A film gets a swarm of 8s and 9s and others will wade in giving 1s and 2s to 'level out the scores'

Trustpilot aren't overly enthused about too many overwhelmingly positive reviews either, as they cast an eye of suspicion on those that do

I detest reading casino reviews on Trustpilot. Not only are 99% of negative reviews left from people who have just lost or are on a losing run and just want to vent their frustrations, most people are also incredibly illiterate. Ranting about losing money is so far away from a proper review, it's not real.

it makes my blood boil.
