Today I Feel Good Because...

Not going to the beach but I am visiting mother dearest on this most wonderful of warm days!

So technically that doesn't count as feeling good today, in fact I'd rather be in the shade with the blinds down and sound-proof windows so I don't have to listen to feral people populating normally- civil regions of our streets with their enthused cackling, but hey ho. Should be over soon enough!

I used to dread seeing family when I was younger, doing all I could to find an excuse not to visit in my teens, now I miss them a lot and wish I had spent more time and more quality time.....kudos to you for visiting your Mum, have a great day and try not to get your face scrubbed with spit or your cheeks and ears pulled

I am super stoked today because I got invited for an interview for a marketing position at EGT Leisure which is a slots provider. (EGT).
They have a local office here and this job became available as they are expanding their business.

I happily accepted the invitation (They found my profile on Linkedin).

This could be a very exciting role and fits right up my street of course as a slots fanatic and a bachelors degree in marketing.

Interview is on the 19th this month so I will keep you guys up to date.

Some Interview Tips:

Remember to ask interesting questions at the end of the interview like....'will i be privy to secret slot information i can share in an online forum?'.

Also, always wear a white shirt...its neutral and some people take an instant disliking to certain colours.....I have heard of a Quickspin totebag going on the black market in the UK which will be useful to carry your resume in and will surely impress!

A firm handshake is what is required and if you have a spot of hard skin from clicking the mouse too many times this will demonstrate your slot experience.

Seriously....good luck....you sound excited and you cant fake enthusiasm.....well i cant anyway.

The role is super exciting and includes promoting EGT at I-Gaming conferences like in London and Las Vegas.
They are only opening an office in Ireland now as they are expanding their business to Irish and Northern Irish territory.

Also told them I could be the EGT rep at Casinomeister!

I so hope I will get this job.

Well guys!! I am now part of the EGT Group!!

So I will give notice at my current job, take a day or 10 off and start a new adventure in my career.
Awesome as this job is right up my street.
Nice upgrade in salary and also in perks coming with this job.

Oh and my first trip will be in February 2020 to ICE London, working in the EGT stand!

Can't wait.

Due to a streak of luck of slotting in the last 2 weeks and the new job looming on the horizon I treated myself this weekend with a brand new laptop.
Got an Acer (always use Acer as I never had issues with them) with a fast quad core AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 1TB SSD drive, 8GB RAM and a Radeon Vega graphics..
My previous Acer was 6 years old and has now been given to the kids so they can play some games or watch Netflix..
