As I mentioned about a year ago a casino group (wont mention their name cause they have openly apoligized for it) called my house between 6am and 7am to get me involved in an issue they were having with firepay that was discussed in many emails. Firepay, which i realize now is semingly a scam, had not paid them money they were owed claiming i charged it back. I could prove otherwise but for some reason this casino group wanted to beat the dead horse. Because of this I do not play at any casino affliated with them nor use any casino that uses same software for fear I willl accidentally do business with them again. Now it happens again for an incredibly bad reason.

Kiwi Casino calls my house just to see how my experience was with the $100 I lost in their casino. WHAT? My wife knows I play poker all time online but there is no reason for her to know im playing video poker, she is very against that. How many wives/parents/whatever would go nuts if they picked up the phone? This is a terrible practice. By them calling they lost me forever. What were they thinking? I only give real # cause I have called support before for these places and they ask why im not calling from home #. I never expected this type of BS call.

Agree! Do not call!

I HATE to get any call from casino!!! It's annoying. DO NOT CALL, please!!! I also don't like the unwanted postal mail or CD-ROM....

Just got this email. Do they really not understand how bad of an idea calling people is? Mail irritates me too. The CD's especially. The casino group I wont play at mails me their poker room CD all the time and it falls out of card player magazine and I even bought some blackjack and craps products and it came with that. I guess they have an vid marketing team. Must cost them a fortune.
Hi there XXXX,

Welcome to Kiwi Casino!

As I mentioned when I rang, the main reason for my call was to welcome you to as I saw that you joined us the other day, and also to make sure that everything is going well.

I've now made a note on your file that you do not wish to be called at home but if you should have any questions about any part of Kiwi Casino you can always call us toll free on 1-866-241-XXXX or email us at XXXXXXX@kiwicasino.com

Wishing you lots of luck!

Agreed Pokeraddict, most players play online becasue they dont want to deal directly with people, they just want their privacy. If the casino wishes to contact a player by phone send the player an email and ask the player to call in.
Cheers

As long as they don't call me while I am working, I don't mind at all.
Actually I kinda enjoy the conversation with casino operators. More often than not, they will offer me a nice deal while we chat.

I don't mind it either, but I can see where it could be a very big intrusion for some people.

Casinos should probably ask the player's position on this at sign up, and then be very sure to never call unless they have permission.

I'll never understand the logic of sending the CD. Everytime I have received a CD in the mail it has been after I had already downloaded-signed up-and played. The casino has me as a customer. What a waste of marketing dollars. It would make sense if the customer had requested the software or if they had begun the download but did not complete it.

empire poker keeps doing that too me. I was also getting calls from 7 sultans to make a deposit! Pissed me off for I told them no I can't play there yet would get a call like a few weeks later. I told them I don't want to play there when they called again and they hung up , now no more calls. If I wanted to have them call me I ll click the phone me option at certain casinos or ill just call them.
