this is my idea of what they should be in regards to awarding them to
signed up players at the participating casino's online

example a person plays daily because they have more free time on there hands [and i do have more free time retired ] and lets say another person plays the same amount of dollar's a month [approximately]

the one that's busy'r with life's chores doesn't get a equal chance of hitting a random as i understand you have to be playing

but both types of players support the casino with the same amount of play

because i noticed the minor jackpot along with the major jackpot at
a R T G so why not do it as a lottery with the qualifying players
just email them that they won the money

now i think this is a fair way to do it for both sides also
id like some remarks from you guy's

doesnt matter to me how they do it i would just like to hit a random jackpot...bought tears to my eyes when someone posted that they hit 3 rj in 2 days and i cant hit one in 3 years...kinda makes me sick...

Maybe i'm stupid, or don't understand english good enough, but where is here any "Bonus Complaint"?

I think it's up to the moderators to decide where threads should or shouldn't be. You don't have to understand english good enough to know the difference between contributing to a thread or complaining about where it belongs in the forum.

If somebody with less time on their hands is spending the same amount as somebody playing more than them then they must betting higher. The higher your bet the higher the chance of hitting a random jackpot is so it doesn't really matter.

really, i have seen screenshots and hear people on here say they hit the rj with a 25cent bet...

i think everybody has a rj when playing rtg casinos u just have to play the right game...i play the same rgt games all the time...so while i am playing coyoto cash i probably have a rj sitting and waiting for me on the ronin slot but i dont play it so i dont get the rj...

just what i think not to say it is written in stone

You CAN hit the RJ on a 25c bet but the higher your total bet the higher your chance of hitting it. This percentages here are all speculation and it's probably more complex than this but let's just say that on any given spin your chance of hitting the RJ on a 25c bet is 0.05% then if you were betting 50c the chance of hitting it would be 0.1%

I have no idea what the exact percentages are this is just a simplified understandable version. I'm pretty sure this how they work but RTG COULD be different. I know with the B&M slots here in Australia and the linked Microgaming ones the higher your bet the higher your chance of hitting it.

EDIT: I should also mention that some games have different RJ amount depending on your bet so your chances are the same there because the higher you bet the higher the RJ.

CURTSONLYLOVE10:wow, so i guess i have about 2 more years to go
Naw...If you are lucky like me..you will continue to go over 16 years without a RJ hit :D ...my name doesn't have a star next to it like some do, I guess the old roosters don't need enticement to continue playing and they know this....

I even asked when I joined some of these RTG casinos and it is really amazing how long I have played at them EVERY day...without a hit..

.

guess i am just lucky !- I have hit 3 random jackpots since july betting .25 cents-.40 cents - and .50 cents at JackPot Capital:thumbsup:

Come here, can I rub your head?!. My question for those that do hit these RJ's, even at low wagers, how long at a time do you play before hitting and how much do you think you spend before hitting? Do you just stay on one or jump around?
I have been playing RTG's for a very long time and also never hit one. So what is it that you are doing that we aren't?

i wasent aware of that so i want to thank you that levels the field :)

Yes, to my understanding the higher your wager the better your chance if hitting a random jackpot. So betting 100 $2 bets gives you a better chance than betting 800 $0.25 bets on each spin.

Now I've won a random jackpot on a $0.25 bet so it's also possible that if you go the $2 route your 101st spin could have been the one that hit the jackpot.

I low roll so my bankroll makes the decision for me. :p

That's easy ... they're hitting the RANDOM Jackpots.
Isn't that the beauty of randomness ?....there's no say who will hit them, or when. Same person could hit 20 in a year, and others will never hit one in a lifetime, no matter how much they put in, timewise or moneywise.

c'mon, this is not randomness. To me it appears that those jackpots biased towards certain players. :eek2:

No, that's wrong.
In both those cases you are wagering $200 in total = exactly the same chance of hitting the random.

Think of it this way, if the RJ hits on average once for every $10,000 wagered - it is still once for every $10,000 whether the player is betting 1c per spin or $100 per spin, but obviously you have a better chance per spin if you're betting $100.

If the random jackpot hit once for every $10,000 wagered it wouldn't be random.

Yes it would.
I said "if the RJ hits on average once for every $10,000 wagered", not "after $10,000 of wagers the RJ hits".

It's the same as saying the free-spins on Thunderstruck trigger on average once every 143 spins; You could go 1000 spins and not get them, or hit them 3 times in 10 spins. They are still random even though we know the 1 in 143 is a definitive figure.

How can you say I'm wrong and then say exactly the same thing?
