the WTF thread

Yeah - the Russian video with Russian actors and bullshit scenarios (Hollywood jump with no combat equipment - walking away from an open parachute :p) The US combat forces are so better trained than the Russian counterparts, it's a laugh.

More on the US cartoon.

And from polar opposites of the spectrum :p I thought the US one was barf-worthy. Sounded like some 15 year old girl
I was actually getting into that cartoon. I wanna see the whole series now goddamit! Especially the bit where the Care Bears join in! :p

From what I understand America are having serious recruitment issues due to obesity, mental health issues, drug use, criminal records, lack of high school degrees as well as the young being too attached to their videogames so they are going down the woke path to recruit. In my day there was no beetroot smoothies on offer in the mess it was cheap beer and as many cigarettes as you wanted. No pussy footing about by your officer if you deserved a bollocking.
My girlfriend back in the day was an army lass and was as tough as nails- no special treatment.

But back in the day we had no internet.

Regarding the above vid the media keep playing.
There's a vid on bitchute from a different angle that shows some guy get shot in the vehicle over the road from that tank, 20 or so seconds before the tank does what the video above shows.
And then what looks like, to my untrained eye, possibly 2 armed civilians taking cover near a big white van next to where that man was shot dead by what looks lime military firearms, moments prior to them appearing.
The 2 armed guys didn't seem that interested in what the vehicle in above video was doing, despite it being on top of a car, which makes me think that vehicle in above video may have even receieved some sort of friendly fire and maybe panicked to gtfo. I'm just guessin of course.

Would post link to vid if it didn't show someone getting shot.

I think that's prevalent amongst youth everywhere really. No one wants to pursue those types of careers when you can be an Influencererer on Tweeter or TwitChute

Asking for a friend: do you take the fluff out beforehand?
That'd be telling!

Worth bearing in mind that while Putin's caused needless death and suffering, Ukraine's military is among the world's best, if viewed objectively in terms of ranking and manpower.

So whilst they may not hold out indefinitely, with each passing day Putin's losing, both financially and in terms of the world's war- weariness, so perhaps he may even consider calling off the invasion if losses become unsustainable

That is the worrying thing.

With amount of troops he has sent in no way he can take control of Ukraine if Ukrainians stick together and fight for their country.

But this is a battle Putin can not afford to lose now and back down from.

So as he does not care what others think. Will he stick to fighting on ground and get nowhere or will he change tactics and pull troops back and just obliterate the cities with missiles no matter the civilian casualties.

There were rumours he may lose patience and deploy thermobaric weapons, which are just one step behind nuclear. You don't even wanna know what those can do......but then as you say, he's got little to lose now, and so he may double- down on the occupation, no matter how he goes about it.

The moment he ups the ante is when you might see some other nations become involved, especially with those kind of brutal 'tactics'

He has held back the bulk of his troops and his aim appears to be to try and limit civilian deaths at the expense of his own troops and equipment. Russia have very little dept so he can afford the costs. I suspect his aim is to take out specific targets such as the 8 bio facilities before retreating and holding talks

Need to wait and see what happens.

If he had just took the 2 areas that were basically under control anyway and realised the resistance he could have saved face and went never intention to invade whole country.

Now he has alienated nearly the whole world. Will be win at all costs as no way will he show himself or his country to be weak and retreat. And with millions of men willing to fight for Ukraine and basically an unlimited supply of weapons getting sent to Ukraine he is not going to take the country with tanks and soldiers alone.

But will any country be brave enough to back Ukraine if millions of civilians die. Just not so sure.

Ukrainians being urged to remove sign posts, road signs etc in order to disorient the enemy.

Even the Ukrainian road signs agency have suggested a few mock-ups of how these ought to look

- roughly translated as

"F*** off" ^

"F*** off again" <

"F*** off to Russia" >

So the policy was changed from 'its cool importing oil from Russia' to 'its cool to import even more oil from Russia'
Lord have mercy, Biden has doomed us all.

I saw Trump was praising Putin for invading Ukraine the other day.
Him fangirling over dictators is just as disturbing now as it was when when he was in office.
No wonder he tried to stay in office at all costs even after losing the election, he wanted to be like his idols.

besides the usual reasons I'm glad he isn't in office, his lauding of the situation is even more concerning

Politicians and business leaders don't care about sentiment, Russia's not about to turn off energy supplies, and are we to believe Nord Stream 2 being put on hiatus is anything other than an exercise in virtue- signalling?

Because just as Western countries deal with Arab regimes that fling men off buildings or stone women to death and no one bats an eyelid, same thing will happen when the Russia/ Ukraine conflict's over, it's business as usual between the oligarchs.

And the Green Energy initiative being rolled out will not be halted either, because doing so will not only be seen as a financial waste, but politicians not daring to go against saving the planet.

STILL trying and selling the 'stolen election' narrative :(

The Taliban are seeking a swift end to the conflict and in a joint initiative with the CIA have agreed to build sustainable houses with blocks of cocaine
