Wow
@lotusch what a nice offer and comp.
Well as some on here will know My partner was diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer late 2017 and so far has managed to fight it, 100% down to the fact, she found a lump very early and got it checked and of course our beloved NHS. As it happens if she had put it off and waited it would have been a very different story, as all we heard come out the doctors mouth at the time was "Grade 3" and "you have a very aggressive type of cancer "but you have caught it early" the fact she wasn't even 40 yet, was a shock to us really, and was totally unprepared
In sheer panic, we got things like a will sorted out and it was suggested we contacted a charity that gives special days to people under 40 diagnosed with cancer for them to make precious memory's with their families and loved ones, ( our boy only being 5 at the time we felt we so had to do this ) in case the worst happened.
So we applied, and was granted our special "day" which was actually a 3 day stay at a center parks, it was just the ticket, we totally refused to give in to the worry and had a great time making memories that will last forever and taking a ridiculous amount of photos and videos!!!
Now were into the back end of 2019 I'm pleased to report that my partner Jo is still here, after what seemed never ending cancer treatments, operations and hospital visits!
So as for the £25 gift, even though I would love a free bash at the slots if I was chosen to receive it I would instantly pass it forward by donating it to the
willow foundation that funded our very special memory making days, so that this great, not so main stream charity, can continue to help families make precious memories before its too late in those very difficult times.
