The Remarkable CM Community Thread

:( <-- suppose this face says it all, but just to update:

The money well received and that translated to 22.16 euro - by lack of enticing offers, decided to split it into two lowroll depo's , 12.16 on Guts, and 10 on MrGreen.. As to maximize my chances (or so i thought)

I picked Money Train on 10p aat the latter, and DOA classic on 9p at Guts,
All i got in terms of excitement was a feature with 4 wilds on DOA, but of course on the wrong reel (3 stacked in the middle, none really connecting) and that was that. Only DOA got me a shoddy 10p over start balance :D

Alas! i really had high hopes and would have loved to win, as much for myself as my fellow remarkable threaders...
Let's hope someone else is lucky soon, or through some miracle i find some monies somewhere :p

Thanks again though. I am thankful i got to try

Edited to add: The next person on here to win, or just anyone reading: i sense someone is going to win HUGE on that Money Train. When lowrolling it seems to (usually) give extremely good play time. Kind of like the old pre-HTML DOA! Maybe give it a 100 spins, if you're playing anyway :p

Hey all,

I want to make someone happy with a £25.00 / €25.00 / $25.00 gift.
Sharing is caring they say.
No did not make any withdrawals this week as didn't play much, too busy with other stuff.
But I just felt I would like to hand out a 25 quid freebie to someone.

All you have to do is tell me how you would spend the money, can be on gambling, shopping, clothes whatever you fancy.
I assume most people here would spend it on slots anyway. :D

The most original, funniest answer will get the cash.

Will pick a winner tomorrow at noon. :)

Thanks Lotusch, a competition with a difference and very generous of you also

I shall start the ball rolling in that I would use it to take my 2 kids for one last "mini day out" as due to a handful of circumstances out of my control, we have not managed to do as much as planned this School Summer Holidays and that also involved missing out on a planned seaside holiday.

Don't get me wrong they've still had some activities and seem fairly happy but did also have to let them down on other occasions.

Know nobody will be thinking this but it was due to family issues and not down to gambling too much. :)

Cheers!

Wow @lotusch what a nice offer and comp.

Well as some on here will know My partner was diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer late 2017 and so far has managed to fight it, 100% down to the fact, she found a lump very early and got it checked and of course our beloved NHS. As it happens if she had put it off and waited it would have been a very different story, as all we heard come out the doctors mouth at the time was "Grade 3" and "you have a very aggressive type of cancer "but you have caught it early" the fact she wasn't even 40 yet, was a shock to us really, and was totally unprepared :(

In sheer panic, we got things like a will sorted out and it was suggested we contacted a charity that gives special days to people under 40 diagnosed with cancer for them to make precious memory's with their families and loved ones, ( our boy only being 5 at the time we felt we so had to do this ) in case the worst happened.

So we applied, and was granted our special "day" which was actually a 3 day stay at a center parks, it was just the ticket, we totally refused to give in to the worry and had a great time making memories that will last forever and taking a ridiculous amount of photos and videos!!!

Now were into the back end of 2019 I'm pleased to report that my partner Jo is still here, after what seemed never ending cancer treatments, operations and hospital visits!

So as for the £25 gift, even though I would love a free bash at the slots if I was chosen to receive it I would instantly pass it forward by donating it to the willow foundation that funded our very special memory making days, so that this great, not so main stream charity, can continue to help families make precious memories before its too late in those very difficult times.

Such a nice gesture Lotusch. I hope the slotgods pay it forward to you with a nice 1000x win on your next play.

But, come on guys, these were meant to be funny answers! I’m sat here with something in my eye now ffs!

Well if I got it, I’d obviously put it in VS and hope to double it as quick as you like. That way I could send £25 to Jono and £25 to Reelsoffun.

I would probably cure cancer, or end world hunger or something.
But i can totally understand if you would rather give it to Goldenghoul for "booze and gambling" or to Jono, so he can take his kid to another Caviar-eating contest.
Those are good causes aswell.

(I actually think Jonos answer was very good, spending time with kids is the bomb, or so ive heard.)

Thanks for the very kind comp Lotusch.
I would invest the money in my latest venture. I intend to set up business selling fishes farts to spirit level manufacturers. All I need is a few medium sized syringes and a long plank of wood to stretch over my local stream which I will lay prone on while catching the farts as the fish swim by under me :P

I would spend the money on my fish, they need a new heater as the one they have has a crack in it and they keep coming to the glass and giving me the your a bad man look, its really unkind as the cold water fish in the next tank keep making faces at them saying "whose laughing now"

You should team up with @geordiecolin
I hear he has an interesting idea, and is in need of some fishies. :P

Interesting comp! Hmm. what to do with 25 and something funny..

Well, id probably take that £25, and go exchange it for 2500 penny coins.. then id pour them all into a blow up
mini pool and swim around in it singing ,. "yayy, lotusch's money.. yayy". Then after id got bored of that, id
collect all the pennies up ,and go to the local 'throw coins in make a wish'.. and spend all day wishing for a wildline
on doa and doa2.. bonanza to cough up finally for me.. and lots more etc.. and im sure one of those would come true, and the
final coin, id maybe wish id just took the 25 and stuck it on Vs or something.

Well, im tired and thats about the best my imagination can come up with  But failing that, ill stick it on somewhere and
see whether i could double it or not. :)

Stick Scot1bair's fish in it and the three of us could have a remarkable time :)

But how will i know that its really fishfarts im buying if spoo42 is also swimming around in the pool?
Sounds fishy to me... :)
Because everyone who has any knowledge of spirit levels will tell you fish farts are much more boyant than other farts so they stay on the water for a split second longer which allows them to be captured by a capturing device-such as a syringe :)

Well I thought I would add my sob story answer.....

I would buy a pair of steel toe capped boots for £18 and then try to win x4 with the remaining cash to pass on.

The reason I would buy the boots is:
DOY SOS arc currently in my town building a shelter for young people aged 16 to 18. In order to be a volunteer and be allowed to enter the site you must wear a pair of steel toe capped boots .

Currently this Cinderella cant to go to the ball .

Hi Mate,

I had a hard time making a pick and I wish I could give everyone some money but I ain't Rockefeller. :D
But because your story touched me I decided to make a £20 donation to the Willow Foundation so I hope you are happy with that.
A great cause and I hope it helps them a little bit.
See below the Thank You e-mail I received shortly after I made the donation.

Thanks for sharing your story mate.

Guys, thanks for your replies and I really appreciate all the stories, funny ones and serious ones.
I had to pick one and decided to give it to @Jono777
I hope all agree and I will be doing a €200.00 weekend bash at some BTG slots this weekend, if I at least double my deposit I will do another comp.

@Jono777 , please PM me your Skrill details or if preferred your IBAN and BIC and account holders name and I will be sending your £25.00 right away.

And I hope you can do something small but nice with the kids.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Mark.

Wow, Fantastic - Thank you Mark and of course to all the wonderful community here for the support, it is as always genuinely appreciated.

The plans will go ahead now for sure. There is a HUGE adventure playground about 15 miles from where we live, the money will cover fuel to get there and back as well as burgers, drinks and ice creams whilst we are there, so they will love that as its something we've done in the past!

Many thanks for the generosity and support once more :)
