This post: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/cancelled-a-withdrawal-lost-it.68174/ inspired me to create this thread.....The suggestion:

sighh... yea its not uncommon.
it's a gamble for sure.
many will empathize...
maybe we should have a running post here so if someone withdraws they have a buddy here who will shame them if they reverse...

So, who would like to start us out? It could be anything from something that pi$$ed you off at a casino/poker room, so you can rant about it instead of continuing on "half cocked" and losing your deposit(s) in record time.

You can also publicly announce a withdrawal request that you've made, in hopes of getting support in order to not reverse it....

Gosh, this is such an excellent idea. thanks! Should probably be a stickie, even. :notworthy

Well, the last thing I WANT or NEED is a public shaming if I cancel a withdrawal and blow it.

I have done it in the past and yes, it made me feel terrible.

So, I need no help in feeling terrible. I can do that all by myself.

Thank you anyway!

You're missing the point of this thread. It's for support to NOT cancel a withdraw/go on tilt, NOT for public shaming of those that do.

Do you honestly think people here would resort to that?

#1--->

here's the first one [paranoia] or not , im becoming shy to deposite any were because I seam to do the same thing at first I go up but not enough to cash out considering associated costs [being in the usa ]

then go into a downward spiral to bust

Get yourself a reloadable Visa debit card, and use that for deposits/withdrawals at Club World.....they will send your winnings back to that card for $9 :)

Check the America The Beautiful section for a reloadable card that works....there's a recent thread that discusses one in particular that I just used a few days ago at CW..

Ok so here goes,

£10 deposit at bingo stars with £10 free - - - £350 wager, £90 withdraw, See if I have learned my lesson and NOT REVERSE

Go on Spintee mate, you can hold out a couple of days.

And if not we'll all systematically remove every 'thanks' or 'wtg' we gave you, ever

Right its out guys :) Unsure if it came out yesterday or this morn, But its always in bank the next day so will no later if goes in today,

If it came out yesterday than it was only two days, If today than 3 days pending, Still not bloody good enough if you ask me, I need a boost as well, Meeting up with women now days is not cheap :)

Thanks to Paul the rep for spingenie gave yet another free coins, saved me a few quid in not depositing on sites, Had a play yesterday and still on this morning, Had some horrible teasers, I went to play center court and already had free spins games waiting, So lucky as if I manage a decent hit I could of been denied wins due to having free games in play, Its happened a good few time recently, Getting chucked out than later on going back on to find free spins round is there? across a number of sites, Any one would thought they done this on purpose but thats another story and more hats :)

Here is a teaser screen shot

Well done Spintee, had a feeling you'd see it through :)

You have the official honour of being the first one here to do it. Now we all have to pretty much follow your example!

Only problem now is to actually do a withdrawal for me. It's been so long that Elvis was still in the charts :eek::eek:

Time for me to name but hopefully not shame myself - £1700 pending at 32Red, and £150 still to play with and hoping that now I am joining this thread I will have the sense to sit it out.

Nice one cncas2123, you've left yourself in a perfect position. You got yourself a nice withdrawal AND the extra funds.

You could even divide that £150 into the next three days or however long pending takes so as to resist the urge.

But I reckon you'll hold out, that is a nice amount. Tell a relative, or at least someone that knows you gamble

Congratulations mate on your win!

Thanks, and I decided to withdraw another £165 and that way I will play somewhere else while the withdrawal is pending and wont be tempted to reverse!!

Well done and great choice to take out the rest, Oher wise you spent it all than say it owes now and than do the dreaded one,

Cheers, that was my thinking - if I played it down theres always the temptation to reverse a few quid to try and build it up,but it never stops at a few quid,if we hit a bad run we chase. I will try a couple of £30 in another site and play around for a whilethen take a breakfor the rest of the day.

it's so hard to think rationally..... and you managed to. good job

Yes, very easy to get carried away, and i did to some degree as my peak was just over £2000. But im happy with what I have withrawn, and I put £50 into Casumo, got a 50% bonus and am playing away happily at low stakes, knowing that I dont need to chase anything, I just need to enjoy the game play.

Kudos to the Grumpy cat for starting this thread, its good to have a point of focus where you can take a reality check.

Gambling only becomes enjoyable when you've made a withdrawal and lowroll with the remainder. And like you said, not chasing that win.

Once you've eliminated the stress from your session it almost doesn't matter what happens to the rest and you appreciate the games far more.

It's almost like a proverbial game of two halves!

woohoo.. yes Grumpycat started this thread based on my suggestion from another thread :P
Unfortunately i cant participate or play much.... with the greek crisis, the banks are pretty much frozen, so gambling is rare.

We have all done it reversing :p:p:

Weird thing is when I did have a dip in winning on 32 red ones they gave me some free chips for my loss .I was surprized by there goodwill when I did not even asked .Won money back and did not reverse again . Not many casino give back lol

Update - withdrawal for £1850 processed today and will hit my bank very soon ( did a reversal yesterday for £15 to do a few bets on their sports betting site).
I have to say I have enjoyed a great 2 months in online gambling, and a lot of it is down to what I have read on CM,and also the fact that the people on here are fellow punters makes a big difference - they know exactly what you are thinking and what you are doing. 6 months ago I might have reversed and lost, now I wont and if I feel the urge I just come on CM and look at all the posts.
So a big thanks to all here for their posts, their experiences, their winning screenshots, their losing screenshots as they all provide valuable assistance to all slotters.

Great news - I received my w/d from Intercasino today. I was really tempted to continue playing while they checked documents but after ready your experiences here I felt encouraged to stay away and wait.

Thank you all and enjoy your weekends.

Total online gaming experience: 12 years
Total Deposits: I really don't wanna know but defo less than I've withdrawn :D
Total Withdrawals: Not sure but always get something to 'show for it' out the biggies

Largest 'Pending' withdrawal £2,650 (From £20 quid!) 24 hours (ish)
Longest 'Pending' withdrawal £1050 (3 days, £1,000 made it to bank)

Total Reversed: £380 (roughly)

Didn't start spreadsheet till 2005 but only played Games Xtra (IGT) back then and no reversals possible.

Really proud of the reverse stats so always willing to help out with plenty of useless advice ( :p) in this thread if anyone wants?.

Its not only on a thread like this that your advice is valuable, its all the other contributions that you and many others make that provide good advice,a good insights and sometimes just a good old laugh and I am sure that I am not the only one that appreciates all these insights, tips and advice. There is a core of contributors that I say a big thank you to, these people are the backbone of CM and all their advice is welcome.

Couldn't agree more. So much valuable info provided by these people that offer their advice for free. Kudos to all of you and thanks!

Bum, bum bum. Opened an account at Energy Casino yesterday, deposited £50 and for once took a bonus of £50. In first few spins I had a huge win on Twin Spin (£683 ish), changed to DoA and got bonus round up after 9 spins and it seemed whatever other game I went on I had winners. End result was being able to submit a withdraw request of £300 last night after playing through the high bonus play through amount!

Great, £50 into £300.

Nope.

Woke up this morning to an e-mail asking for ID docs and my withdraw request was reversed. Uh oh.

£50 comes out - lost.

Another £50 comes out and withdraw request of £200 put in place as I knew where it was heading - woohoo, won on Jack & Beanstalk and a few others - withdrawal request of £200 already in place (ID verified by this point), so put in place another withdraw request of £325 (less £6.98 fee)

Phew - I didn't lose it all and managed to successfully submit requests to get £518.02. It was a close call!!

Still fresh from bad memories of dealing with Euromoon and Boyle Casino and losing what I wanted to withdraw.......

Good going, its hard to sit and do nothing while the withdrawal is pending. Its so hard to resist reversing, because we all wear rose coloured glasses when we look at the pending withdrawal and we persuade ourselves that if we reverse a small portion we can win so much more!!!

Jeez! Close call. I am glad for you that you finally managed your withdrawal. Could have gone massively wrong. Next time you write right when you make your FIRST withdrawal request so that we can hold your hands tight ;-)

P.S. Is it still reversible?

Nope, no longer reversible and should be in my account in next day or so.

Also, happy and upset at same time re a recent win. Logged on to Casino Netbet a few minutes ago, £20 deposit and opened up Gonzo's Quest playing £1 a spin. No bonus round, but loads of winners came up and quite regular as well. Within literally a couple of minutes my balance was a fraction over £100 and mentally I had told myself to bank it if balance is £100 - so withdrawal now in place (although 48 hour pending time!). Yes, I am genuinely upset by this as I was looking forward to a little longer playing a few slots without worrying about a withdrawal! Yes, I would have kicked myself if lost £100 from a £20 wager, but was hoping to tick on by and just play a bit for enjoyment. I also had a hunch the bonus round was due soon due to the amount of gold and wild symbols starting to show, but worth the risk in carrying on? Debatable!

Anyone else in same boat by mentally storing an amount to cash out on? It's just a killer if you get this amount in just a couple of minutes and want to carry on playing ......

I kind of break, no make that bend lol my own rules if I win 'too quickly'

In your example from a £20 deposit turning quickly in to a £100 balance I would usually bank £60 (3x deposit or my next 3 deposits covered already) and play smaller bet sizes for the remainder, topping the withdrawal up to (or above!) the £100 if my lucky session continued.

On the other hand, if after 2-3 hours play time my £20 deposit is up to £100 balance, I then w/d £80 and leave the original deposit amount to continue playing, either directly after withdrawing or if bored the following day :D

I have had another £50 out of bingostars from a 10 depo, Abit pissed of with this one as I did not even break into bonus and balance had jump up to near 200, But went down hill from there and time wager was cleared it left me with a small 50,

Also a small amount from spingenie, 30 I would not of took this out as it was free chip given (15) But the errors was terrible, Soon as they got some MG games the errors start coming,

Oh and the $100 from a free chip from rageingbull, That one piss me of as well, Had near 1k but it got wiped of when I complete wager to the 100

Oh dear, I bent the rules and recalled my withdrawal request then this happened:

netbet.webp

I am DEFINITELY adhering to the next withdrawal of minimum £200 and WILL NOT cancel my withdrawal request ...... On this I promise.

Although when this happens it sometimes justifies the action, which is bad, very bad!

This is the reason we reverse, as we soon forget the bust outs and our memory is full of turning a reversal into more winnings. Good luck and hopefully you will be able to sit it out until it passes the pending stage.

I am having a bit of a struggle tonight with it.

I played somewhere with a little longer cashout time that most of my favourites. I am sleepless, due to a hot date with my toilet in preparations for some medical scopes tomorrow.

I've had some very very nice hits recently, and I will undoubtedly spend some of it back gambling after being paid. I don't even dare open the casino to see if it has moved to "processed". I'll do that later today.

It's my first withdrawal at this casino, but somewhere I have played for a couple of years.

I think it is DOUBLY important not to reverse at casinos that have longer times on a first cashout. If you show you are an impatient player, you might find your cashouts are on the longer end of the timeframe.

So if there is anyone else out there waiting, stay strong, you will be glad you did.

I so so agree with this part especially.

I am a firm believer that casinos 'test the water' with players patience and whether they are a 'reverser' or not.

Don't reverse -- it always ends badly!

Stay away from your computer! You'll make it. Just get out and keep busy and don't think about it. What I do sometimes is I will place a small deposit on another casino so that I can get some play time. That will at least take the itch away. Stay away from this particular casino until you get your money.

I was just waiting for a withdrawal to process at Mr Green..

It was only a one hour wait, but my luck has been crazy good lately so it took a hell of a lot of willpower not to reverse it...

So glad I waited it out now :D - all processed and will arrive Monday.

Really trying to control my stupidity lately.
