I've just sent CM a PM about this, so hopefully he'll fix this up.

I was looking around the forum before and checked out the promo section. Found a site promo and clikced the link. More so just to suss out the site. Well I close the browser window thinking I'll return to CM and look around a bit more.

Well this A hole webmaster has a sneaky javascript which actions a redirect 1-2 secs after you close the extra window. It then Hijacks the CM forum window and redirects you to a casino.

Man that's BS. If I wanted to visit that damn casino I would have. Instead I'm forced to not only view the casino but also have go through thr BS of getting back to where I was here at CM's.

Talk about taking advantage of someone's good nature. CM doesn't have to let people post their promos, he does it to give people some space. Hopefully thinking (well IMO) that people will not try anything on.

There is always one that will try to scam the system.

WinYourWager, you should be ashamed of yourself for pulling this BS.

That does suck. I don't know why people even use those pop-ups or re-directs. They CAN'T be that effective! I know that I hate them and assume that most others do as well.

Remove the cookie that the affiliate uses to track them with, then they won't get credit for you. Usually it's as simple as go through them and finding the name of the website and then delete. Cookies are usually located under Options in the Tools section, Go the privacy, click on cookies, view cookies and delete the ones that have the casino name. Or you can just delete all your cookies, but that might be a hassle as it could remove your saved information such as forum usernames or passwords.

For Internet Explorer, the steps are similar except you find the edit button on the privacy, cookies. To select edit make sure you are not accepting all cookies.

Either way, screw them if they are not getting your business respectfully.

Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, I need rest. Ask questions if you need.

Redirects totally suck.

If you don't like popups, you have to be screaming mad about redirects.

I can't imagine anyone in their right mind playing at a place that forces themselves down your throat like that.

The searchengines also do NOT allow them, and you can report these in the search engine complaint sections.

I tend to let my guard down here, as apposed to the wilds of Bornio. I just didn't expect anyone would do something like this. That's got my back up more that the redirect did.

If a newbie (here at CM's) clicked on the link, you couldn't blame them for thinking that the redirect was from CM's and not the visited site.

Pretty much on the same topic:

How about those with sig links to their website that are promoting rogue casinos? IE: GFED.

or better yet if you have some time and you want to mess with the dirty affiliate, send them an e-mail inquiring about the best places to play slots for $100/spin. then wait a week and send another e-mail saying you busted on that $50,000 and would like to try another casino.
