Keep an eye on the Snedeker kid one stroke back in the Masters...Great young man from NASHVEGAS who graduated from the same private high school as moi but then again so did Frist,LOL!!...Know the kid well as he plays out of the same country club the family belongs to...He was the PGA Rookie of The Year last year and unlike most on the Tour, he has a easy going, down to earth personality. Hopefully he can hang with the Big Boys!!:thumbsup:

Yesterday morning I was VERY happy with my 10 e/w @ 33/1 investment in Justin Rose...
But now... :sob:

My other 3 players have bombed too, so I've now placed a hedging bet on Poulter.
If he could win it would be great for lots of reasons!

Let me guess, Montgomery Bell?
add ACADEMY and you are correct but actually it is called MBA and most even locally (except media publications) have no idea that MBA is an abbreviation for your correct guess or actually your educated guess:thumbsup:

EDIT:GM here is an example from the alumni newsletter I receive of the name the school is actually known by....also check out the irony of this upcomimg lecture as the subject matter is gambling related...I wonder if FRIST who is on the Board of MBA had anything to do with this featured lecture???:

Former Mafia Member to Visit MBA

On Tuesday, April 15 the MBA Lecture Series will welcome Michael Franzese, a former high-ranking Mafia member who now participates in a program to educate people about the dangers of gambling and the impact it can ultimately have on their lives. Franzese will speak to Assembly at 9:40 a.m. in Paschall Theater and again at 5:30 p.m. in Pfeffer Auditorium. The 5:30 p.m. event is open to the pubic.

Today there are over 1 million teens addicted to gambling and Franzese hopes to turn this tide. He has been a guest of the National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball, and featured on ESPN, Fox Sports, HBO Real Sports, the Jim Rome Show, NPR's "All Things Considered," Armed Forces Radio, CNN and Fox News.

Obviously, if you participate in Mafia organised gambling, you might lose your kneecaps or you might find yourself sleeping with the fishes.

I'm loving the Masters :) Obviously routing for the Brits but only one real likely challenger going into the 4th round. Like to see Tiger do well and he's now an ominous presence after yesterday's 68.

Anyone know why only the Back 9 at Augusta is ever televised on the first 3 days? Is that the Augusta Club, the Tour, or is it down to bidding rights?

Hey Ryder Cup this year if anyone from over the pond fancies a wager ;)

I can remember many years ago when this was true (based on production costs and golf had yet to gain the popularity of tennis) in The States but certainly has not been true for the telecasts in The States for many years at least on Saturdays when the pairings and tee times are based in descending order from worst to first after the cut....For example, eventhough there was a prior 40 minute suspension of play yesterday based on weather, the telecast began as scheduled with the two leaders just getting ready to tee off on Hole #1 so even without the suspension in play the last group prolly would have been picked up beginning at #3....Although the Augusta Club basically dictates everything about the Masters, I do not think The Brits only being able to see television coverage of the Back 9 (which is news to me BTW) is based on the Augusta Club policy or the other possible reasons you mention. More likely is a Brit. media telecast decision,imo......The Kid from Nashvegas showed some guts y-day after the disaster on Amen's Corner, coming back to birdie 3 of the last 5 holes and what a break Trevor got on 15 as it is almost a given 99.99% of the time that shot rolls into the water....That said, as the saying goes The Masters really does not start to the Back 9 on Sunday, maybe the Kid will be there. Good Luck Brandt:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
