The Hype Gaming Thread

*sighs* I've really been wanting to try these guys out, and now that I have a scanner for documents I was seriously considering it - but my patience level for lack of customer service is next to nothing. If you want documents, ASK for them, plainly and clearly, and within 12 hours of the withdrawl being initiated (but preferably, immediately after). Respond back when you get the documents, stating they've been received and your withdrawl will now go through, or that there was an issue, please resend. Why is this so difficult to do? I don't understand why casino's are taking such a risk - pissing players off during the MOST important process that they'll go thru at any casino - cashing out. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Well, I had to send verification documents three times before they finally got them. The live chat person told me once the documents were received they would expediate my request. Then once things were received they told me it wouldn't be processed for 2-3 days (which is the normal withdraw period). I simply told them to send me my money as soon as the account department was in and to then close my account.

There are too many good casinos out there to put up with this BS!!

I've been waiting since Dec. 29th for this withdrawal. However, I've been trying to verify my documents have been received and keep getting told to send them in again in case they didn't go thru the first time. My question is why would I send them in again if no one knows if they are legible the first time around. I hate that this is happening since these games are the closest I'm going to get to Lassiters/Aus Vegas since I live in the US.

I may be requesting additional assistance if things don't go more smoothly soon. However, due to the holidays, I'm going to attempt to continue being patient.

I'm going to see if I can get a hold of anyone over there. I hope so. I know that servers were down due to the earthquake, but I do not know which servers are down nor if they are affecting cashouts.

I only know that cashouts are getting really bad since that earthquake happened. I certainly hope nothing is amiss and they will get all your cashouts done promptly.

I am trying, but it takes a bit of time with the time change.

As far as Singapore, I don't believe that is where the gaming servers are located - so there is no worry there. I only know that this location was having difficulties due to the recent quake.

I hate to see people having problems, so I will try my best to help :) Of course, that can only happen if I get return calls and emails.

kwblue,
Is it okay for me to PM you? I'm having problems trying to get verification that Hype has received my documents to process my withdrawal.

Hype has started to pay me. So far they have sent me two batches of my withdrawals. I have 9 more for them to process dating back to 12/25. Still unacceptable. Hoping they will catch up and realize they can't go on ignoring our withdrawals. It is simply bad for business!

I just love that place so I hope they get it together!

I got paid today. I like the games but they really need to work on their customer support.

kwblue, thanks for trying to sort out my mess.

Practice Play @ Hype

I didn't realized that they had practice mode there until I read one of the replies on here. I contacted cs through the chat window to get a practice play acct and was told that since I'd already signed up as a real user, I couldn't revert back to practice. That's crap! It only took about 25 mins to get a reply. I will not play at a casino before getting a feel for the games. Glad to see that other people are doing well there, but they have a long ways to go with getting and keeping customers!

They told me I could go to practice play even though I had a real account, but then I couldn't figure out how to set it up the way it was explained. I think perhaps the rep had no clue what they were talking about.

Hype has now paid all of my December withdrawals. I have 3 January withdrawals one already 5 days old. So I guess they aren't going to be paying within 24 hours.

I wanted to play in fun mode at times at Hype also but couldn't figure it out and someone kindly pointed me the way to download Inchili casino (same as Hype) and not register a real account there, just use it as play, which I do now. Love the options of switching from fun to real without any problems. Works great for me!

As far as I am aware, everyone that has contacted me has been paid. Addisyn is the only one left with a couple cashouts that I know of.

Those are in the next run, though, I believe and that should be after the weekend.

Glad people are getting their money :)

Docs

The minimum is usually a form of Photo ID, such as a passport or a driving licence. An official ID card will also suffice. The ID must tie together your name, address, and age, containing a photo. A supplementary document is also often requested, which should tie in with the first, usually independently verifying the address. It is important that these documents match the details registered with the casino. Any mismatch will lead to problems, possibly serious ones.
In addition, requests are likely for images of any cards that have been registered for deposits at the casino, and sometimes it is necessary to sign a declaration that these deposits were made by you.

If requests start to arrive for more documents, such as tax returns, bank statements etc despite having supplied the above, this could indicate delaying tactics, or a rogue on the search for excuses.
Casinos in the accredited list are fine, so are a few that have been taken off the accredited list because they take sports bets from within the US rather than having "screwed" their players. An example being BoDog.

i am reading the thread you posted and wanted to ask if when you are refering to the casino bodgog do you mean they can be a problem as far as players withdrawing and such? i have never won a jackpot there but i sometimes drop a few dollars in the casino. i have only pulled out maybe a hundred or so . but if you have any imput on them i would like to know before i really did soak a lot of money into them , thanks

System for checking playthrough requirement down!

I deposited $200 and get $200 bonus automatically 3 days ago.

I contacted support yesterday, asking the playthrough requirement and the live chat support replied that their system was down and unable to check that for me.

Just now I check with live support and "the system is still down"!

P.S. In their web site, it states

"Cashback Program
You automatically Earn Hype Bonus Points for playing the games at Hype Casino!

You may redeem your bonus points for cash at any time by selecting the 'Hype Rewards' inside the casino."

Anyone knows where the "Hype Rewards" is hiding in the software?

Well, I took the plunge and threw in $50 and got the $50 match. I didn't meet playthrough but I played a long time on that $100! Way longer than I usually do at any MG. I really like the wizard game. The graphics are astounding, MG should take notice!!! If a casino opened up with this software, and offered instant payments and was honest and trustworthy I would never play MG again. I think this weekend I will play without a bonus and try to get up a bit so I can cash out and get through the whole ID phase. Hopefully their cashout issues are coming to a close now that the holidays are long over.

That feature is coming, but not yet implemented from what I know of it.

I have some problems. I took the signup bonus when they started and I think I also did a second deposit maybe for bonus. I busted both times.

However I just deposited again to test their slots (NO BONUSES!). And withdrawal was declined because I had not fullfilled wagering. Anyone know if they remember old wagering requirements even if account went to zero?

Zoozie

I know Inchilli (same software) held over wagering requirements, but I did not think Hype did. I am very interested to know, as this for me is a complete deal breaker and as much as I like the slots there, I'd be done.

inChilli does hold you to the wagering requirement for the rest of your life (and they'll probably hold your heirs to it after you're gone, it goes on your permanent record), but I thought someone said Hype definitely didn't if you busted (I recall reading that earlier in the thread, or maybe it was the inChilli Warning thread, not 100% sure though).

I am checking into it. Either I or someone else will post in the thread as soon as possible to clarify this. I would certainly like to know myself... However, I have played before with a bonus and lost it right away - the bonus at that time was NOT carried forth after the account was zeroed.

I signed up there, made a deposit and got the $200 bonus. I had a very good run last week. I played BJ. Got up to $2,700.

I tried to withdraw $1,500 last Sat. I contacted live support before doing that to confirm that I had enough wagering. ($5600 which means about $22,000 wagering in BJ.)

I didn't receive doc request through e-mail but they did ask me to send the docs in the message windows of the software. (What if I haven't login again??:what: )

I sent by e-mail with attachment but strange that they replied me the e-mail asking how I sent the attachment, by e-mail or by fax.....:what: :eek2:  I replied that the docs were sent as attachments in the original e-mail and for safety I attached again in the reply e-mail.

Now they say I will get paid in 4-5 days.

Let's see......

I hope CM did not finish his webcast yet, because I have some nominations for several categories.

I did 3 initial deposit with bonuses. But I went bust on each one. Then I deposit 25$ to test the new slots without using a bonus. Apparently the wagering requirements are carried over, so I probably have several K$ wagering requirement left before I can withdrawal from a 25$ deposit with no bonus. Here is the chat. I was not able to find anything about wagering requirement was carried over on that page btw.

User> But my bankroll was zero before I made the last deposit
<User> does that not clear the wagering bonus???
<User> else you can understand I would never deposit again if the past hunted me forever. Zero balance and wagering requirement are normally cleared
<Operator> The amount of wagering requirement depends on the bonus issued and the games you play.
<User> of course, but that is not the issue here.
<User> I made a another deposit and got no bonus and my account was 0$ at that time
<Operator> Any bonus and the deposit associated with the bonus is subject to wagering requirements before they may be cashed in by the player. As different games have different % returns the ''Play Through'' requirements will apply to the
<Operator> following games. Slots X25 the bonus amount;Video Poker X50; and Blackjacks X100
<User> yes, but I did not get a bonus
<Operator> Please click on promotions on the terms and conditions page.
<User> I read it. And I know a bonus comes with a wagering, but NOT that they are carried over even if you go bust
<User> But how much wagering do I have left?
<Operator> Hi, I'm sorry that the system for checking wagering requirement is unavailable at the moment. We will get our account branch to check on it when they get in office next morning and send an email to you regarding your wagering requirement.
<Operator> I apologize for the inconvenience.

Hype Gaming Warning I Lost Part Of Bonus

I had a very troubling event at Hype 2 nights ago. I was playing pirates game and got the 3 ships plus the cannon on same line. I went to the bonus round and it said I had 4 free cannon shots. I made my first shot and then it said I had 2 left. One of my bonuses disappeared. I inquired and was given some credits which almost seemed like hush money.
<P>
Might have worked but if I ever felt that a players odds can be manipulated it was after these credits were given. I got nothing on their money and the rest of mine.
<P>
I mentioned I need to go to site and report this but they asked if I'd wait until tech researched it. When I got 2 form letters I came here.
<p>
I have made millions of spins and thousands of bonus rounds but have never seen anything like what happened when I lost a bonus play. When it could have been the one that paid thousands of dollars I am alarmed and wanted to warn everyone to paid attention when playing there.
<p>
Has anyone else ever had any similiar ever happen. I haven't.

I got the reply that I have 1406$ wagering to clear before I can withdraw.

This is from a 25$ deposit with no bonus and 0$ balance when I deposited.
So I have a 60*deposit wagering requirement for no bonus deposit! (actually more since I have allready wagered some)

I think A LOT a people are in for a surprise when they do their first withdrawal not knowing they have a gigantic wagering requirement from earlier deposits.

Mind you I have also have bugged games, no compensation whatsoever.

On my third deposit I had expected a 100% bonus (I got a mail with the offer). When I deposited I only got 25% because the third deposit bonus overruled it.. CS did never reply.

So basically hype can go .... themself. I will not bother to try any new slots from this casino.

There is a casino representative here. I would contact him and have him straighten this out for you. Hope it works out. I am on hiatus from all gaming at the moment until all my deposits and withdrawals clear.

I told Hype I wouldn't play with them again until they got their withdrawals to a reasonable amount of time (48 hours or less is my standard).

If Hype has started that 'WR carry over into forever', it must be a new thing. My one withdrawal there was off a bonus, but the WR didn't seem to include the previous B+Ds where I busted out. We do need some clarification on this. I won't play InChili because their WR carry over, and I'll sure drop Hype like a hot potato, too, if they're using the silly carry over WR.

I'm afraid this rule will be the end of Hype in the near future. You'd a be a complete fool to continue playing there, knowing that your past deposit bonuses will haunt you forever. Once your account is set at zero absolutely all wagering needs to be set at zero as well. Oh well, Hype has awesome games and graphics, but a lot to learn. Hopefully they do, but they won't be seeing another penny from me until they have shown they have. Sure wishing I made a play for free account though to get my fix.. lol.. oh how pathetic I am.

Hell, there's even some casinos that will zero out the WR if your balance is under $1. I know for a fact that 32red does this.

Here is the final reply.
The short version is old wagering will haunt you forever:

Dear Thomas,

Thank you for contacting us.

Any bonus and the deposit associated with the bonus is subject to wagering requirements before they may be cashed in by the player.

As different games have different % returns the ''Play Through'' requirements will apply to the following games.

Slots X25 the bonus amount;Video Poker X50; and Blackjacks X100

Our wagering requirements are based on the total value of the bonuses that have been issued to a player. As such, if a player had not meet his previous wagering requirement and received a bonus on his next deposit, the previous wagering requirement will be brought foward.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.

Thank you for supporting Hype Casino

Sincerely,

Hypegaming support

Hype may as well go out of business. Once everyone figures the WR situation out, they will not be able to keep a single customer.

I am surprised I had to find this out myself so later after they had been in business for months. No many people are making withdrawals I guess, which should say something about their slots.

Zoozie
I agree - it says their slots are so great people can't stop playing them! :D
(ALL slots will bust you if you keep on indefinitely).

I made a nice profit from my sign-up bonus, but admit I have not had time to visit again since, though I do plan to.

I also plan to write a serious complaint to Hype management about this WR carry-over, which is obviously ludicrous. Surely Hype must realise what a devastating effect this will have on repeat bonus offers once players get to know about it...

And most won't find out until after they try to cash out after playing, and find they have $40,000 in WR to complete before cashing out $1k...whether or not they took a bonus on their last deposit.

Zoozie,
To clarify:
Wagering requirements for previous deposits should NOT apply if you have
a) Zero'd your account balance.
b) made a withdrawal since recieving a bonus. ( because you will have had to meet wager. reqs. to withdrawal)

I think there has been a misunderstanding of our terms here, as we do not carry forward wagering requirements for previous deposits where the account has been zero'd, or a withdrawal made.

Zoozie, I will contact you directly with my email address and contact details.

Misunderstanding? What's there to misunderstand? It clearly states that the WR's accumulate...

The withdrawal is still not yet processed to my Neteller account up to this moment despit the fact that the live support promised that it would be done on Friday (Today).

Just now I contacted the live support who says that "Our accounts branch is currently out of office." and my withdrawal is still under processed and the earliest possible time for the withdrawal is next Monday.

I am a bit worried.

Who did you have contact with? I don't think anyone gets paid unless they go thru the rep or kwblue.

By the way, the accounts department is always out. That's just codeword for: 'you didn't go thru the right channels'.

I broke down and deposited $100.00 and took advantage of a 100% bonus offered. When I had played for a bit I asked where I was as far as meeting the WR.

Guess what the live chat operator told me! The accounting department is not in and I should check back on Monday! HUH!
I PMed their casino rep and asked for the info waiting to hear. They do take some real long lunches.
