The Hype Gaming Thread

Logged on at HYPE this morning just for a looksee and there we go... downloading the whole suite of games again. I think it was just last week that I had to do that. Like KW I have no idea what's different. I was hoping for a new game. LOL

And downloading the entire Hype suite is nothing like downloading even new releases at MG. LOL It'll be up and going shortly.
 
Frustration!!!

Ok, I have been playing at Hype since it was introduced here on casinomeister by a member and fell in love with it but now I am getting a tad irritated.

I have been telling CS that there is an issue with the software every time I have deposited and tried to play I get a darn error. I have posted this once before but now it is happening EVERY time. I copied the chat also to show that this should have been resolved a long time ago! Driving me crazy! I don't think they are lsitening and I am getting frustrated.
 
The bonuses are ok... They have a 100% to $300 with 25x wagering requirements (for slots). My site has an exclusive (using our bonus code) which extends the 100% up to $500.

Here are the exact terms for the bonus playthrough:

Play on Sicbo, Baccarat and Roulette will not count towards meeting wagering requirements.

Game Wagering Requirements
Slots 25x
Video Poker, all other Games 50x
Blackjacks 100x


Pretty standard stuff, I think (don't like the 100x blackjack, though, but it is mostly a slots casino anyway IMO)

How weird is this? I deposited and played a bit tonight, but didn't get to play my favorite -- Pirate Princess. Why? Every single time I clicked on Pirate Princess in the games menu, it rebooted my computer. Yes, as far as I know that was the only game that does it. I think I've rebooted about 5 times just to prove to myself that clicking on the game was causing it. It really was irritating, and I never did get to play the game. And I don't know why I even play there as I never hit anything anyway. LOL

Anyone else encountered this weirdness? Any suggestions on what is causing the problem with my computer and Pirate Princess? Is it on their end ? Or has my computer suddenly decided on its own to block female pirate games?

That's the second worst slot they have (after Treasure Hunter) - you are MUCH better off without them.
Most of their other slots are great! ;)
 
That is a bit strange.... If you really want to play this game :) then you can remove the slot from your PC (from the directory that the game is stored in) and let the casino re-download it. That is what I would do... I had to do this when Mermaid Magic first came out and the casino did not complete the download.
 
I just emailed Hype asking them if their payout percentages had changed. Lately I can't hit a bonus round on any game to save my life. Anyone else experiencing this? It has gone from letting me play and win some to nothing within the course of about two weeks.

Also, I was able to use my debit card to deposit and now it rejects it. The other casinos I play at are having no problem getting my deposits with my debit card. I hate to fund Neteller since it costs money. I am cheap. :lolup:

Just deposited and played lower bets to get the most number of spins at Hype. I hit a couple of $10.00 wins but never hit a bonus round in the course of going through $150.00 at between $.25 and $1.75 spins.
 
Bonus requirements for Hype is always 25x(D+B) for slots :)

Well it seems I'm far more senile than I thought! :o

My screenshot of the T&C's from Oct-30th confirms it was (D+B)x25.
It also says Roulette not allowed - which I totally missed! :eek2:
(I thought Roulette counted at 50% - which it damn well should do!)

All this means, I made my withdrawal request without meeting the full WR (I played a lot more than Dx25, but also played a lot of Roulette (not low-risk I would like to point out!)) - but they paid me, no questions asked!

So when you next contact them, can you ask why they have such ludicrously high WR - Bx50 is HUGE for slots! :eek:

Not sure what you mean by Bx50? The slots bonus is 25x (B+D). That is less than MGS, actually.

Not sure why Roulette isn't allowed, but I can ask :)

VP is 50x, is that the confusion here? And BJ is 100x (ugh).

(D+B)x25 = Bx50.
With the MG 'Flexi-bonuses' (as I call them) WR is just Bx30 which is the same as saying (D+B)x15, if we're talking a 100% bonus.
That's only 3/5 of the Hype WR....
(and of course, you can withdraw without meeting the full WR....)

Withdrawal aggravation. Managed to meet WR and withdrew $400 on Dec. 21. Left $100 in there to play on. Never heard a word from Hype. They don't send w/d confirmation emails?? Or requests for documentation? I go in to chat today and seems I need to send copies of DL (which I have on hand) and utility bill. Scan of old bank statement won't do (which I already have on hand). Problem: My scanner is down (thanks to a thunderstorm) and I don't know when I'll be getting a new utility bill. (All my utilities -- water, gas, elec, etc. -- when I pay them, I tear off the part which has my name and address to mail with payment. ) Great.

So here I sit.

What a load of crap. I deposited with NETeller and w/d to NETeller.

Update: It occurred to me that I do not received a paper DSL bill -- online only. I took a screenshot of my current statement and sent it along with a scan of my DL to Hype.

We have received your documents. We will inform you again if we need anymore information from you. Thank you for support in our casino.

So now it's wait and see.

I downloaded Hype Casino and played there a couple of times this weekend...Used Neteller to deposit....if I also use Neteller for any withdrawal....How long will it be before it is deposited back to my Neteller account ?

Don't know to the exact number of hours (like I care!) but my first withdrawal was definitely in my Neteller within 24hrs of e-mailing my ID documents. :thumbsup:
 
See my grrrr above. I deposit w/NETeller and withdrew to Neteller. First withdrawal. It sat there with no word or email from them for 4 days. I log in to live chat and ask what's up and she says I haven't sent documents. No one asked for documents. So now they have my documents. Maybe soon I'll get my money...

Problem: My scanner is down

I dont have a scanner/fax machine so now I take a photos of docs with my phone camera (2MP), Bluetooth them to the PC and email. Much easier and works for the casinos I've found :) With Bluesquare on Friday it was all sorted and authorised within the hour start to finish :thumbsup:

Without being funny - that's an AWFUL way to do business... The cynical player might suggest it's a clever way to keep hold of your money for a bit; at the very least it's extremely poor customer service.

The casino take your money quickly, gladly and without hassle. If they don't intend to return it in exactly the same way - they should have the decency to let you know.

I saw how pretty the games look, and chucked a few hundred quid at it for fun - thinking I might come back in the future.

Based on the above, for something so simple as withdrawing your winnings - I will never play at this casino.

I love the slots. This could have been the best new casino of the year.

But processing customer withdrawals is obviously not a high priority for them.

I can't even get support to respond on live chat lately. Apparently they took off on vacation.

I wonder when or if I will get my cashout....
 
Actually, when you try to withdraw it should be followed by a message in their casino that tells you to send documents. Thing is that no one is used to looking there. It's on the left, the chat and message window they have.

Good point, but I have never seen that information posted in the message window. Just messages like 'withdrawal being processed' or some such. Never have I seen anything about ID verification. Have you, Dom?

I got the message in the window from inChilli but not Hype. Hype didn't do anything.

Did these places close for the holidays? Right now they (both casinos) have a notice that the call center is down due to a problem with a telco, but they haven't been responding since last week.
 
KWblue I may need your help. I'll check my NETeller this evening. If the funds aren't there, I may send you a p.m. if you don't mind.

I don't mind at all - just give me the specifics in the PM when you do.. I would need simple stuff like - when did you send ID, when did you originally cashout, amount of cashout, and Hype ID. With that, I can go to work.
 
I made my first withdrawal request last week. Today when I logged in, there was a message that I need to send my id and utility bill.

For inChilli I got the notice the next day. Now its been a week since I sent it and they told me today they would check if everything is ok. So maybe I will get paid in another week or two from them.

If Hype is the same, maybe I will get paid in three weeks(?).

I love the slots, and I'd love to play them again, but it is impossible when there is a withdrawal waiting. Well, maybe not impossible, but it would be foolish to deposit again when the first wdw is in limbo.
 
Taiwan Earthquake - Repercussions

The earthquake in Taiwan earlier in the week severely disrupted the fibre-optic netwowrks in the Asian region.

Here's an example of a notice from an ISP / Server Farm in the region ....

The recent earthquake in Taiwan (27 Dec 2006) has severely affected our networks to Japan, Taiwan, USA and Europe. SeaMeWe 3 (South East Asia Middle East Western Europe 3) and APCN2 (Asia Pacific Cable Network 2) undersea cables are damaged. Currently we are doing damage assessment via gathering feedbacks from both customers and our upstream providers. Initial finding shows that DC4 and DC5 are affected the most. DC4 utilises APCN2 as the major pipeline. DC5 has rerouted their traffic and has gain 40% network improvement. DC1 to DC3 are least affected even though the network is not 100% back to normal. ETR report (Expected Time to Restore) is not announced yet by the affected network carriers while in the news it is reported that the underwater cables will take 2-3 weeks to be restored. Please do take note that while alternates routing is done congestion may occur due to sudden surge of data through those routes."

As some of Hype's servers and services are provided from within Asia, yeah I know the gaming servers are in Kahnawake, they will be impacted by these outages. Things are slowly recovering.

Hype really has to shape up their first withdrawal procedures or they're going to lose more players than they keep, regardless of how cute their slots are.
 
I have to wonder why only 2 or 3 players are ever able to cashout at hype. I spin and spin and never hit a danged thing on there. Autoplay would sure be a nice feature too.
 
That was my first w/d at Hype after having deposited several times and the ONLY time I hit anything worth withdrawing. I left $100 in my account to play on and it lasted 5 minutes. Haven't been back as I won't play till a withdrawal has cleared and is in my NETeller. I dont' know if I'm going to play again anytime soon.

I fear that to actually ever hit anything worthwhile, we have to play $2.5 per spin and higher. And, of course, the required bankroll to sustain such play.

I've been waiting since December 26th for mine. It was my first request therefore I had to send verification in which I did, with no response back from them. Their customer service and withdraw procedures better shape up quick or it will be my first and last deposit there! :mad:
 
At first my withdrawals took less than 24 hours. Even my first withdrawal with that quick. Now I have to wait way too long. My latest two withdrawals have been with kwblue's help.

I email them and get no response. In live chat they telling me the accounting department is closed. Odd since I have asked at various times of the day and night. They must be open some time! I found out from kw they are located in Singapore. So the time difference for me being on the west coast of the US is 18 hours. Wow that is a lot! :lolup:

The last withdrawal I received was a few days ago and only with kw's help. I still have many withdrawals pending. I would like to get everything into my Neteller account sometime in the near future and start out clean for the 2007.

My oldest pending with them is from the 21st of December. Come on Hype I want my moola!
 
I had two withdrawals recently - first one was disapointing, but after i had sent a PM to KWblue, it worked out fine.

I did the Hype live support again.

1) The accounts department is not in again, but they will file a report if when they do (that is what they always say, there must be a lot of reports).

2) No response as to whether the accounts dept was coming in today or whether the casino is having trouble paying winnings.

I'll PM the Hype casino rep but she has not logged in for weeks.

inChilli support:

1) Said he/she would file a report with accounts department.

I pm'd the Casino rep today (has not logged in since Dec 22 though).

This does not look good. I'm going to give this another 24 hours just in case they really were out for the holidays all this time. Every other casino I played at has been prompt with cashouts throughout the holidays.
