She makes out like a bandit from one day to the next as it is. She's got TWO iPads, a high end smartphone, a nice gaming PC with a 27 inch screen, and gawd knows what else.

TBH I'm surprised I managed to buy her co-operation for as little as a tenner.

LOL...same here - iPhone 8S last year, laptop, iPad, Apple Bluetooth EarBuds, 1TB X-Box, Netflix Subs and won't buy clothes from anywhere other than TopShop, Next or River Island etc.
While I buy supermarket brand energy drinks for myself....

She's 14 but you may have noticed she doesn't necessarily communicate like you'd expect a 14 year old to.

She's diagnosed autistic and we get the highest level Disability Living Allowance benefit for her, along with Mrs Chopley getting Carer's Allowance. (Carer's Allowance basically acknowledging that Mrs Chopley's 'job' is caring for Jnr, in that she does it a hell of a lot cheaper than it'd cost our government to provide care, but Mrs Chopley can't work as a result.)

(In the old parlance Jnr would be classified as 'high functioning autistic' but they've moved away from that to simply calling it a spectrum disorder now.)

Things can certainly be challenging at times but I wouldn't change Jnr for the world, and she's taught me a lot about being a better, more tolerant person. She was very late with her speech but came on remarkably well thanks to the incredible support services we have here on the IOM.

I'm a big fan of the film 'The Abyss' by James Cameron from 1989, there's a really good line in that film where everyone's starting to lose their shit, and one of the main characters says to her ex-husband, 'You have to look with better eyes than that'.

Jnr has given me better eyes.

Ok that was a great post :)

Great post - but no, I noticed absolutely nothing to indicate what you just posted. It's nice to hear positives about the local services too.
When my ma was dying my dad had great support from both local health service and charity-based visitors and they had to practically force him to claim the carer's allowance, as to him the idea of caring for a loved one was natural and not something you'd expect to be given financial assistance for (the older generation huh!). He then tried to explain he was quite well off and didn't need the money but in the end he reluctantly filled the forms in and complied. In his case with comfortable pensions it wasn't really stopping him earning money as in your wife's case and he still feels guilty to this day about it! I tell him every time it comes up this is why we pay taxes and NI, you 49 years and your kids 85 years between them lol...

U managed to get verified and withdraw ok? I was concerned for you after hearing the bandits plight.

Not that I join many casinos but I could never get involved in one now without getting verified before making a first deposit. Way to much nonsense going on these days.

Did some 400 spins on it.
Got 2 bonuses, x100 and x15.

The basic game is really really boring with awful music. :(

Quick question, do people find the base game in DHV boring?

The main reason I ask is that, aside from the aforementioned variance I don’t see a huge difference in them.

I suspect the difference between this and DHV is the less frequent but higher potential bonus. The base game seems largely the same outside of that. Both generally bobbing along with the occasional large multiple hit done in a slightly different way.

Agree that the base game sound grates a bit.

Overall I think The Final Countdown is a pretty good slot. In my experience the feature comes in about once every 25 spins, and pays around 5698x stake.

I trust you’ll be voting it for slot of the year on that basis then.

If I don’t get the same sort of results I’ll be calling you out though.

Just to show the mirror opposite of Chopley’s hit, and yes, we all see this sort of thing, from the 15 spin bonus. Trigger is £2.40 I think.

I played the Countdown one and actually re-triggered, just the once. Couple of observations.

When it re-triggers, it bins any other scatter you have. I was down to 2, 2 scatters land, first one gets me to 0 and it ignores the other after the re-trigger leaving me on 10. That’s a bit crap isn’t it?

There was the Holy Diver pause before it span the re-trigger, which was nice. Thought it was either re-trigger or calculating the total pause as it was the last spin.

First spin was good pushing me up to around 90x total. Then proceeded to put all the last three wilds on reels 3-5 and no match on reels 1 and 2. Clearly borrowed off their other slots! Lol.

Tomorrow The Final Countdown will begin its journey across the casino network starting with Relax and later next month with the SG network.

Best of luck!
That’s lovely to hear. Any chance you can use that good old BTG ‘magic’ for when I try the game for real and give me a 7000x win please?. I promise to post screenshots :)

I love BTG slots, and specifically the megaways slots (although I understand this one isn’t Megaways - more mega multiplier)

I very much wish you would licence your games for social slots apps like Slotomania etc. There are hundreds of slots gaming apps and none have slots similar to yours. This seems to me to be untapped revenue potential. I for one would veer towards social slots apps using your unique features.
