subtopia netent

Betsafe is an outstanding casino listed at Casinomeister for many years
I noticed and I played, It's always exciting when you don't know how many free spins will be awarded. Well that goes for many slots but in this case you hope for a particular symbol not to appear, less funny than when you wish for a symbol to appear imo. I didn't enjoy it that much. Had some decent winnings but it won't be one of my favorites.

the new netent slot subtopia is available at betsafe...
did i miss the discussion or did nobody notice?

Yo :D

As Jinn mentioned, I posted some screenshots and a Youtube video of it in my Starburst thread (2-3 weeks ago). But I did not start a new Subtopia thread (since I just was about to start a Scarface thread)

Subtopia is now available in BETA in a couple of casinos. The official release date is on Tuesday (21th)

@Rainmaker,

Could you please explain to me how the tournaments work at Neten Casinos?
I have been trying to figure it out but can't!
Do they work on my real money bets or do they work differently?
I truly have no idea!
I'm guessing that they work off of my real money bets as I have 300 points and have never entered a 'tournament' at Noricbet ever.
It's really confused me!

Thanks in advance

With these sorts of tournies mate it is who ever is willing to spend the most to win unfortunately.

You are automatically entered into tournies at NordicBet and for this one its just a matter of:

You get points for every bet of 1 euro or more on this slot and must have at least 300 game rounds (300 spins at 1 euro +) to qualify for a prize.. not 100% sure how many points you get per $ though.. maybe Ben could let us know or if Rainmaker knows

... but is it any good?

KK

Tried Subtopia in fun mode yesterday. I must honestly say that I found it a bit boring. I am no fan of bonus rounds, so it is at least a good thing that Subtopia only has a free spin feature. I saw that a member posted a very decent winner screenshot from the game yesterday, so it has potential. But I do not think that this will be my new favorite game. But worth a try

@Gremmyboy

What Matt said :D

I was underwhelmed by the new game. Still, lots I do enjoy, and everyone has their idea of a good time.

The tournament at NordicBet, there is a registration button, but it doesn't seem to work for me. It's been the same for all of the tournaments. I'm not in the running, so I haven't worried too much.

If you are thinking about the "free registration"-button (that is visible on the subtopia-tournament site) then this is only a registration button for creating a new Nordicbet account (for potential new customers visiting the site). It is clickable if you visit the site as a "quest", but not if you already are logged in. So it has nothing to do with the tournament. But I can understand it may a bit confusing when this "option" appears for already logged in customers.

As mattsgame mentioned, you are automatically entered into tournaments by playing valid games. No registration is necessary.

Correct me if I am wrong :)

So It's like an MG Tournament then?
The people with the most money win the tournaments?

:--Well probably worse than the MG tournaments as you only have re-buys and continues to purchase whereas at NetEnt casinos the player that has a squillion dollars in his account and keeps playing non stop will win automatically, every time!--:

If this is the case then it's the one major flaw I can see with the NetEnt software!
I really hate when tournaments are set up for the people with the most money to score some freebies!

What is the point of a tournament if it's not a level playing field for all casino customers?
May as well call them 'cashbacks for our biggest players'!

Cheers

I just tried Subtopia in real mode and also didn't think too much of it to start with.
I didn't count them, but I must have done about 600 spins and got the free-spins 4 times at seemingly regular intervals.
One paid bet about Bet x80, the others in the x30 sort of range.
But the whole time my balance didn't shift much in either direction...

Until I hit this!

Gremmy :)

I see your point. Players with deep pockets may have an advantage. But not necessarily. I am sure that the tournament also will reflect those who have had a "lucky month" regardless of how much they have deposited / how high they have bet.

The tournaments at Nordicbet are usually based on game rounds (min EUR 1.00 bet). So a high roller who does 1500 spins with EUR 75 bets will still only have the same amount of tournament points as a low roller who does 1500 spins with EUR 1 bets (If I have understood it correctly).

I should also add that I have never been in the top 10 in any tournaments. Those damn Pigs :p (Piggy Riches).

The monthly EUR 5000 is one thing, but they are also for example giving out holiday prizes worth EUR 30 000 each month. This can be won by everybody. The same thing with the recent 1 free spin-promotion, it could be won by everyone. So I think the whole promo package is quite fair for both low and high rollers.

By the way, I looked at the scoreboard for this months EUR 5000 tournament. I have 4590 points (rounds)

Tried this today at NordicBet,

It absolutely slaughtered me, not sure how many spins I had but at $1 a spin the most I got was $2.64. Not one free spin round...

I can see that it could have potential so I will try it again but it wont get nearly as much attention now

Just played it in fun mode at $2 a spin took 430 spins to get the bonus round and by then my balance had dropped $250 and i got 3 free spins and 4 bux when i busted out  so this game will be way down the fav list

Only 3 free-spins? :eek2:
That was ludicrously unlucky.

Potentially you COULD get masses of free-spins and therefore a high chance of a great win from them.
I didn't count them, but my bet x 80 win came from about 20 or so free-spins.

yep and got that multiplier sign on last reel on each spin first 4x then 6x then the scull :) also out of all thos spins my biggest win in regular play was 20 bux or 10x the bet, so does it have potental maybe, but after all thos spins i dont see it ;)

It differs between casinos and tournaments. In some cases the winner is the player with the most cash when the tournament is finished. Some others are more fair so to speak.
These are the rules from a recent tourney at Mr Green

Tournament rules:
Tournament runs between 15:00 15.02.2012 and 19:59 17.02.2012.
You have to play at least 20 rounds with a minimum stake of £0.20 to take part.
The points are counted from best equalized payout factor for 20 consecutive rounds.

I actually won a tournament a couple of years ago at Mr Green betting $0.05 per spin :)

This is an excerpt of tournament rules at Betsson which probably explains it better than I can :)

Who wins?
The winner is the player with the highest score when the tournament closes. The scores are constantly updated in the leaderboard. If two players end up with the same score, the player with the most rounds wins.

Cash prizes are paid to the winner’s casino account within 12 hours. Please note, the prize money may have a wagering requirement.

Betsson Casino decides and pays out to winners according to what type of tournament that was played. The default is "20 Best Consecutive Round Payout" (which you can read more about below).

Equalized Payout
Equalized payout is the default way to decide a tournament winner. This payout method looks at how skilful players are – not how big the bets are.

Equalized Payout Method: Score = 100 * (Win Round 1/Bet Round 1 + Win Round 2/Bet Round 2 + ...)/ Nr of rounds.

20 Best Consecutive Round Payout
The player with the highest (Win – Bet) score summary of 20 rounds played in succession wins. The system keeps track of which sequence of 20 rounds gives the best Win – Bet for the player and uses that to calculate the score. During the player’s first 20 rounds the score on the leader board is updated after every round.
Default minimum bet per spin is 0.30 euros unless other amount is stated.

I have never complained about or cursed a specific slot ever not here, not at home, First time for everything so... Subtopia s***s big time! If you play long enough things have a tendency to even out a little bit. Not the case with this one.:machinegu:axeman:

Thank you, Now I can go on with my life ;)
