I only ever watched bits of this when it was shown on british tv in the 80's as I had to go to bed and it was judged too scary for me, james mason was a great actor. I'll have to find somewhere I can watch it:

When looking at potential casting I did fret as to who'd fill the lead role to ruin the franchise. Turns out none other than Tony Todd himself!

Not as good as Captive State, but good enough for a fun night.

Seen most of them.

Don't watch this trailer if you haven't seen End Game

IMHO the part that started with Cap and Iron Man ended with End Game (21 movies, no Hulk 2008) and is something different than the rest.
It is like one big perfect story.

Now something new started with "far from home", will see how it goes......

Just rewatched Kung Fury.
If you like 80s action and can withstand 30 minutes of non-stop action i highly recommend it. Whole movie is linked below.
It has it all, timetravel,hitler,dinosaurs,vikings,gods,karate and most important of all, the theme song is performed by non other than David Hasselhoff.
I give it 11/10 thumbs up.

Oyeah, its like all the good (and bad) from every 80s actionmovie packed into 30 minutes.
Its great fun if you enjoy that sort of thing.
Maybe im biased because the dude who made it comes from the same city as me.

I watched In the Tall Grass last week.
I really like the premise and did enjoy it but I thought towards the end it got a bit convoluted.

I’m really looking forward to The Irishman being released. It looks so good...

Watched "The Dead Don't Die" the other night. All I can say is....what was I thinking? I have seen Adam Driver in quite a few films, and like him a lot, and I also thought Bill Murray, Danny Glover, Tilda Swinton, Steve Buscemi et al were very good, so the problem wasn't the actors.

It was just a very strange, disjointed script with 'in-jokes' that - mostly - were not very funny at all. Also it borrowed outrageously from other movies/TV series, so there wasn't much originality either.

And the worst crime of all? It wasn't even scary!

"In the Shadow of the Moon" and "In The Tall Grass" are on my To Watch list. Just have to finish The Night Manager first.

In the shadow of the moon was fun but some things in the story didn't make much sense.
I will see tall grass tonight and also Fracture 2007 with Anthony Hopkins, and Ryan Gosling looks interesting

Joaquin Phoenix kills it and gives a complete masterclass. He will get an Oscar for this, if not, I'll storm the ceremony

It's more a well-crafted portrayal of mental illness than any superhero capers. The Joker is almost secondary to the overall arc!

It's truly stupendous, even if just for the main performance

Yes, just caught it yesterday. Lucky I checked too, because I was under the assumption of blockbusters hanging around for a couple of months.

But no, they tend to pull films about 3 weeks in so we were lucky. Not sure if it's a cinema-ey film but the way the score heightens the atmosphere it's definitely worth catching there.

And even the local feral chavs kept quiet throughout the film, which tells you everything

But actually, reading about his other movie just released, 'The Lighthouse', that looks interesting for sure. It's supposed to be very good, as is his turn in it, so he may well be a credible actor after all!

Funny you mentioned Lighthouse as I was just watching the trailer before, it sure looks dark which I really love.
