I only ever watched bits of this when it was shown on british tv in the 80's as I had to go to bed and it was judged too scary for me, james mason was a great actor. I'll have to find somewhere I can watch it:

Another good Sci-Fi/Thriller is I Am Mother (2019).
Not as good as Captive State, but good enough for a fun night.![]()

Heard about the upcoming Candyman reboot by Jordan Peele, due out 2020
When looking at potential casting I did fret as to who'd fill the lead role to ruin the franchise. Turns out none other than Tony Todd himself!![]()

I got another one for you. I just sawYou do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
Good movie with some very funny moments in it.![]()

cheesey as ef, seen it a few times![]()

I watched In the Tall Grass last week.
I really like the premise and did enjoy it but I thought towards the end it got a bit convoluted.
I’m really looking forward to The Irishman being released. It looks so good...

I have been watching a few good movies on Netflix lately
Fracture
In the shadow of the moon
In the tall grass

Fractured...
Do you mean Fractured 2019? I just saw it and will see the others this weekend.

I was a bit dissapointed about Fractured. I watched a very good movie a week ago : Yesterday. I also liked : El Camino , a breaking bad movie.
My favourite movie this year : BRIGHTBURN 2019.

From a very quick read, the plot for Fractured sounds very similar to that of Breakdown, a 90's movie starring Kurt Russell - minus the child though.

I am not sure if I've seen Breakdown before so don't know I do like suspense thrillers though.![]()
Well, Joker turned out to be thoroughly great.
A rare feat in Hollywood of well-shot, well-acted, not-too-preachy and no snappy 1-liners every two minutes
Joaquin Phoenix kills it and gives a complete masterclass. He will get an Oscar for this, if not, I'll storm the ceremony
It's more a well-crafted portrayal of mental illness than any superhero capers. The Joker is almost secondary to the overall arc!I am so looking forward to watch that movie, I am glad you say it was good![]()

It's truly stupendous, even if just for the main performance![]()

Yes, just caught it yesterday. Lucky I checked too, because I was under the assumption of blockbusters hanging around for a couple of months.Did you watch it at the cinema? I think its out here in the cinema now![]()
so we were lucky. Not sure if it's a cinema-ey film but the way the score heightens the atmosphere it's definitely worth catching there.
Batman.
Robert Pattinson.
2021.
I'll leave that here for people to gouge their eyes out over

But actually, reading about his other movie just released, 'The Lighthouse', that looks interesting for sure. It's supposed to be very good, as is his turn in it, so he may well be a credible actor after all!
Just came out in the States so won't be here 'til January
Exactly, after all there was Clooney...
Oops.

Clooney was more mature though I think![]()
