Sports Interaction Baptism by Fire thread

i just had a talk with the CS. well, due to the fact that the so-called manager only works from 9-5 mo-fri.....we all have to wait over the weekend.
strangely enough i got the answer: all bonuses have to be checked from the manager.
and the technical issues they have is in the system.

well..okok...this could be a coincidence, but in the last 5 days these guys weren`t able to work out a workaround for this problem is a sign for me that they really don`t really care about their customers.

Hi Ross

I just send you my username. If you could do something in this case I would be more than happy. I have to admit I am a very unpatient one....and the wait for 5 days for "promised" bonus makes me really think what is going on at this casino.

what will happen if I really had a problem, or trying to withdrawal.
Speaking of which....what is the average withdrawal time? As for most playtech casinos. Do you also have the 4 day "pending" period?

Cheers
Ed

A regular account verification- had to send in ID and utility bill & screenshot of webwallet account used to have the account verified. That took a few business days but after it was done, the withdrawal itself was speedy and was processed in less than 24 hrs.
Just a one time check of documents...it just took a bit longer than expected. I think they do most withdrawals within one business day to webwallets for verified accounts. Maybe the casino rep can verify that.

OK, so I download to see all the rules, etc. Then I sign up and find out I can't deposit there. OK, I try to uninstall the casino and I can't find it! I used search, checked everywhere and can not find the puppy!!

Any help would be really appreciated. :)

I see this issue hasn't been addressed for the US player. I have been following this thread before deciding to give it a try and this certainly puts me off. My computer is already overburdened enough without adding to it with an entire casino download that can't be removed.

I have still not found that casino! I have looked and done everything I and others have said to try. I am not a computer genius but am no idiot. I have never "lost" a casino before so I am a bit "Miffed".

I tried regedit, I have tried search and used any word I could to send a search on it's way. Nada came up. I am truly baffled, I know it is somewhere hiding but gave up on looking for it.

Thanks for your help guys, and Kesch you were a big help. I guess it'll be gone when I get a new computer! :p

Strange, it should be under a folder called Casino in your hard drive root. Playtech's are all installed by default in that folder.
Edit: The US version seems to install to hard drive root by default as well...under a folder SportsInteraction Casino.

HI,

The Casino can be uninstalled the same way you would uninstall any piece of software you download to a machines.

Thanks

It can't be uninstalled if it is "hidden" as something else, as in jod5413's case. Perhaps you can let the members know under what name the casino (for US players) installs as?

Also, can you please supply links to the casino T&Cs for US players and the casino T&Cs for the non-US players? (Thanks!)

Hi,

There is a first deposit bonus for NON US players too.

From the Casino homepage you should see it - also if you click through any of the links on this site it will take you there.

Hope this has been helpful

Ross

Which bonus exactly is for non- us players? I made a deposit at Pleytech casino of yours and was informed by your CS that I am not eligible for welcome bonus since it is only for US players. Please, advise!

Hi,

I'm not sure why you couldn't receive the 100% FDB for Playtech as it is available to all NON US players.

US players are not allowed on Playtech platform.

Just to confirm:

Please contact our customer service team with the details of your deposit and they will take care of you.

100% FDB is available to all players regardless of platform.
Thanks

Don't tell us, tell your CS, otherwise there will be more trouble ahead. Poor CS is a bad sign, and this kind of thing will put players off at the point of registration, and they will never find out whether things get better later on.

If your CS can't understand the rules, expect players to be confused as well.

Okay, any sign of T&Cs anyone? Personally, if they aren't willing to make the T&Cs available WITHOUT downloading the casino, I wouldn't make any type of stake at their casino. My opinion, they're hiding the T&Cs, is there something in there which is hinky? Something to trap the unsuspecting player? Bryan posted this Baptism by Fire over a month ago, made the SIA rep aware of this problem and they still can't provide a link to their T&Cs for the casino? Hmmmm...

Hi Guys,

T&c's are now available.

They can be found in the help section of our Nav Bar under "Terms & Conditions".

The Casino terms and conditions are available in both the Sports book and Casino "Help" sections.

Hope this is helpful

Thanks

Also, the homepage ad for this bonus reads...

Which would be misleading as the following appears in the T&Cs directly AFTER this opening plug...

Does anyone know if this casino offers a counter, or is it up to the player to keep track of their own WR? I can't seem to be able to view the other T&Cs without signing up. And I'm not sure if I will get all the T&Cs or just the T&Cs for US players...

Hi,

You will receive the correct t&c' based on your location.

Something else wrong with the website too.

Can anyone spot it:D

Further investigation shows that the problem is caused by the site being so devoid of the kind of information normally expected when visiting a betting portal.

NOWHERE does it say that the software I am about to download is Playtech (which it would be from the UK), there is no "about us", "general terms" etc. Expanding the "terms and conditions" link only reveals the BONUS terms.

As for licensing, say KAHNAWAKE, not "North America" - it can get you into a great deal of trouble, and besides, Kahnawake is in CANADA, not the US - which is how "Licensed in North America" is going to be interpreted by visitors to the site.

The first impression gained on visiting that site is "don't touch with a bargepole".

Some basic redesign will remove the impression of "clip joint" and give an impression of "well run operation".

Helpful would be some guides to banking, game previews, and even some navigation links to further information. The ONLY navigation link I can see from that page is "download casino" - and at a time when I haven't been able to determine what software it is, and whether I even have a deposit method you accept.

The US is a big market, and they will NOT see Playtech, but find that they have downloaded some unidentified software with "cheesy" games from a page that tells them next to nothing about the operation.

There is also a predatory term, because with no counter, and no software based protection, players have to guess whether they have met WR, or get an answer from CS - which can be wrong, so may withdraw in good faith based on the limited information they have, or an assurance from a CS rep who got it wrong, and find all their funds voided. Playtech may have the counter, but I doubt the "cheesy alternative" has.

Thank you! Thank you! VWM! This was the point I have been trying to get across, but was beginning to feel like a totally dumb ass. THAT IS THE PAGE I LANDED ON ALSO! Nowhere on that page was I able to find a "help" section to get to the T&Cs. I found it rather odd it stated at the top of the page "Licensed in North America". As I stated before, it was requiring me to sign up and download the casino in order to access the T&Cs for (hmmm not sure...). Now the rep comes on here and says he told me in his first post that US players are playing on a "bespoke" platform (and I'm still not sure what a bespoke platform is:confused:) not on the CTXM. jod5413 has/had issues of NOT being able to find the installed casino anywhere on her computer, so she can NOT uninstall it.

So I'm sorry, but isn't this a form of subterfuge? I'm almost certain Bryan was under the impression that the US players would be playing on this CTXM platform, otherwise he wouldn't be "advertising" it as such (?). Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel the rep has been actually "helpful" in clearing up these questions. It's more like he is dancing around the issues and giving answers he hopes will satisfy myself and a few others.

Anyways, maybe his next post will be a little more informative than the previous ones have been. Just can't see as how this will encourage players to sign up when they are being asked to go blindly into some unknown gaming platform.

VWM? Were you able to find ANY T&Cs when you visited the site, other than the SUB T&Cs? Has anyone else (US and no-US)attempted to try out this casino? And it appears that players from Sweden cannot play on the playtech platform through this casino. Maybe someone who isn't from the US can post the T&Cs (or at least the countries who are not allowed to play there...) for everyone? Thanks to anyone who would do this!

Has this been resolved?

It's a fairly serious kind of issue.

I downloaded the software - got the playtech one. Made a deposit - got a bonus of 100% and was about to start playing when no gaames would load. i contacted chat several times and they tried alot of things. I even tried another computer - not wireless.
Last time I contacted them they said that they have found the problem and that it is that swedes can no longer play at playtech...
Ok, weird since i just before (and now after) played at other playtechs)
They offered me another software but wouldnt tell me which one it was.. So I said thanks but no thanks. asked to have the bonus removed to make a withdrawl. Was told it would be 24-48 hours to neteller.
Now I have recived an emaila sking for documents., In the email they ask me to be patient since it will take about 5 days to verify the docs...

So - it will be approximately 1 week to get my deposit back. Glad it was only $50

WHAT??

They are making you send docs for you to withdraw JUST your deposit as a result of THEIR incompetence in allowing you to sign up AND receive a bonus in the first place?

This is unacceptable. Ross, can you do something about this please?

After all this ducking and diving, not to mention palming certain players off with a software that they seem disinclined to identify, this casino should not be surprised if players do not beat a path to their door.

This is on that page TWICE!

Sports Interaction is fully licensed and regulated in North America.

Right at the bottom of the page is a rather inconspicuous Kahnawake logo, without explanation. This DOES at least connect to a legit Kahnawake issued license, which also confirms that Sports Interaction have been operating since 1999.

An address for the operator is also given on the page, which is a PO Box in "Kahnawake QC, CANADA"

It seems the "North America" statement is yet more "cloak and dagger", giving a deliberately vague statement about licensing, rather than naming a specific jurisdiction.

This is no different to the reply from a Grand Prive chat rep who told a player that they were "licensed and regulated throughout North America".

Any player with experience knows damn well there is no such thing (yet) as a gambling license from the North American government for operating online gambling of any sort.

Kahnawake has had it's critics, but have managed to turn things around so as to be come a more respected regulatory body than some others, even a couple of UK Whitelisted ones - Sports Interaction should wear the Kahnawake badge with PRIDE, not hide it behind a vague statement, and tucked away right at the bottom of the page.

As for software, first we are told it is this CTXM, which Bryan was clearly lead to believe when he added this to the entry in "Baptism by fire". Now a player manages to download Playtech from Sweden, and REGISTER, and only when games didn't load were they told (after a while) that Playtech was not available in Sweden.

This statement is easily verified, as I am sure Bryan has a contact at Playtech who can clarify the matter of whether Sweden (and others) are now banned countries along with the USA.

I don't buy it, if this was a PLAYTECH ban, the REGISTRATION would have failed, just as it does with all the major software brands when a US IP address is detected, or "US" entered as country of residence. It is the act of DEPOSIT that breaks any laws, so enforcing a country ban AFTER a deposit by blocking games is "shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted".

Looking at the CTXM site reminded me of Salus Technology, it was a company that did pretty much the same thing, "bespoke" crappy "white labels" or "turnkey" casinos of operators who wanted one "on the cheap".

It's a good thing that the rep retracted the statement about it being CTXM, but the question remains as to which software it is, and the impression is that is may not be CTXM, but it is software of the same "on the cheap" standard, produced by another "solutions provider" similar to Salus and CTXM.

Sports Interation don't even want to admit to using PLAYTECH, which is even MORE surprising, as these major softwares WANT their brand paraded in front of players, as they are PROUD of it.

Also bear in mind that if the software is unidentified, has no brand name, it also has no intrinsic COPYRIGHT, as legally - no-one stakes a claim of ownership to it, therefore there is no-one to be "offended" by a breach of commonly accepted copyright rules. This is one other main reason that software suppliers brand their products, and you will see that Microgaming, for example, employs the international copyright symbol with the name, on the games, and also uses the "TM" mark on a few of the themed games.

Of course, if the software is as "cheesy" as stated, who would WANT to rip it off anyway:rolleyes:

If it is "bespoke", as is the 3Dice software, then the rep will have to provide a "bespoke" independent testing certificate with it.

I notice a TST certificate on the webpage, but is this actually TRUE, in that it is for Sports Interation, including their "bespoke" alternatives, rather than for Playtech alone.

PS - Just found another predatory term.

If playing in any of the live games, in any event of suspected card counting we further reserve the right to withhold any withdrawal amount from your account which will be in excess of your original deposit

So, if you merely SUSPECT a player of "card counting", you can confiscate their winnings.

Since when was using your HUMAN SKILL at a game, not a bot etc... grounds for confiscating winnings.

The scope of this term is pretty wide, and could be applied to ANYONE who had an unusual run of luck, even if their skills were pretty "basic". I don't believe such a term meets the standards required for accreditation, and should thus be removed, and replaced with something more specific, such as a ban on bots, or other software based card counting applications as would be illegal in most casinos, where as HUMAN skill, however good, is NOT illegal, and is NOT grounds for taking any action against a player other than asking them to leave, which online is closing their account after payment of all balances.

Thank you rainmaker!!!!

7.1 from the casino T&Cs...
7.1 you are not a resident of Israel, Cyprus, Estonia, Bulgaria, Venezeula, Indonesia, Netherlands, Pakistan, Russia, and Belarus

There is no mention of Sweden...So, Marie should be able to play there...

There is a monthly max cashout for new players...
6.5.3 You are aware of and agree that the maximum amount that a new Player can cash-out when winning $10,000 or more in Casino games within a 30 day period, is $5000 per month. Also, if we deem you, the player, to an “advantage” player or a “bonus abuser”, we reserve the right to cancel all winnings and return your deposit to you.

And this cannot be repeated enough, read, read ,read! (IMO)...
8 Changes to this agreement of Privacy Policy
8.1 We may, at our sole discretion, make changes to this agreement or the Games Rules or Privacy Policy at any time.
8.2 The changes will take effect from the date specified when they occur. It is important, therefore, that you log in to the Website from time to time and check to see whether there is a notification of change. You are solely responsible for reading the changes.
8.3 If you continue to use the Website or the Online Casino after we have updated the changes (regardless to the way we have notified of such changes), you agree to be bound by those changes whether or not you have had actual notice of, or have read, the relevant changes. If you do not agree to be bound by relevant changes, you should not continue to use the Website or the Online Casino any further

The bolded part SHOULD reduce some complaints on changes to T&Cs...

9.7 We may at any time without prior notice to you terminate your use of the Online Casino and block your Player Account if it considers that you are in breach of any of the terms and provisions of this Agreement or that you are otherwise acting illegally. We will not be under any obligation in such circumstances to refund or otherwise reimburse you for any of the funds in your Player Account.

And this part should make it clear where they stand if THEY decide a player is in breach of T&Cs...

Hi,

In response to " notice a TST certificate on the webpage, but is this actually TRUE, in that it is for Sports Interation, including their "bespoke" alternatives, rather than for Playtech alone."

Depending on your location you may not be shown the Playtech cert - it appears in the same place as the Itech Labs cert.

Let me know if you need more info here.

Thanks

Ross

I'm confused after reading the SIA rep's post that CTXM is the alternate software provider, followed by VWM's post that it is not.

Ross, clarification please - once and for all?

I thought you already KNEW this, after all, this is what you told the player after some lengthy investigation.

I am not sure how any TST certificate can have credibility if there is no means to link it specifically to the software it has been granted for. Surely, for TST to issue a certificate, the software being tested has to have a name, which is put on the certificate. Without a name, an unscrupulous operator could hijack a TST certificate granted to a different software, and claim it covers their own "unnamed" software.

Bryan has already made it clear that the USA facing "Level 11" software used by some Microgaming casinos is NOT covered by their accreditation here, and even if Sports Interaction is granted this status, it would NOT apply (I believe) to the "bespoke software" provided to US players.

If the US facing software is unattractive, players will not stick around for long, and this would apply even MORE to players from countries where they CAN play Playtech with other operators, and have the choice between the other brands that US players have been deprived of.
