Sports Interaction Baptism by Fire thread

IMO, to put the T&Cs in the download only section for the casino seems to me as a way for the casino to later entrap players with ambiguous terms. NOW, if a player can still be able to have access to the T&Cs AFTER they download may be different. BUT why should a player have to download only to find out they aren't eligible to play. They will end up with negative comments made about their casino and may lose perspective "customers" due to this. Also, to on their homepage it's playtech and they allow players from the US is misleading, if when it comes down to the nitty-gritty of US players being steered to this other platform.

Personally, I think the Baptism by Fire should read playtech for non US players- CTXM for US players. Then US players will be aware they AREN'T going to be playing on a platform they think they are. It's very misleading, JMO again...

Sports Interaction has been listed as an Accredited Casino for years
Tried Omni or Circus?
WHich are both listed here :D

...
So, what is there to hide that has the rep dodging the question, and clearly giving the complete OPPOSITE impression to that given by CS to a player from the Netherlands who downloads the casino and tries to register an account....
That was from a post nearly two years old.

@VWM, I'm going to make the assumption that since the OP is from 2009 and Bryan merged this thread with his Baptism of Fire thread that maybe circumstances have changed? Maybe players from the Netherlands are now eligible to play...
Assumption verified - so I split the thread and closed the other:
https://www.casinomeister.com/accredited-casinos/

Anyway, we're already making progress - for instance placing the links for the terms and conditions in easy to find places. I think we've covered that and these links should appear in the right spots in the next couple of days.

Please remember that this thread is intended to establish a dialogue between the members and the casino rep. Even though this is a "Baptism by Fire" thread, it's "Rep Friendly" so please don't spoil it by putting the reps on the defensive by making any unfounded accusations. Thanks!

Thanks Bryan, I think when the two threads were merged before it caused a little confusion. So, is it okay for me to ask again...
(In the title area... playtech for non US players and CTXM for US players) I think US players will be a little upset thinking they are going to be able to play on the playtech platform when they go to download, only to have this other (CTXM) platform load instead.

Also, I am going to assume that the sportbook is open to US betting? (Does this allow the US players from the banned states?)

Hi,

Thanks for all the questions guys -If there are any specific questions just let me know.

I was aware that the OP was from 2009

Cheers

Ross

In the guides, Bryan always tells us to "read the terms before you play", yet this casino does not ALLOW you access to these terms UNTIL you at least begin the process of registering an account.

Lastly, stop SKIRTING the issue that started this thread:-

Yet the ONLY thing the rep had to say on this was:-

So, what is there to hide that has the rep dodging the question, and clearly giving the complete OPPOSITE impression to that given by CS to a player from the Netherlands who downloads the casino and tries to register an account.

Are ALL Netherlands player just wasting their time having to download and install the software, only to have their registration aborted by some error message at the last minute, and having to ask support for an explanation.

What other "specific countries" are also going to be wasting their time?

What about a US player that is WRONGLY served up the Playtech casino, instead of the CTXM one, and has no CHOICE in the matter because the website has WRONGLY determined their location. This is likely where players are close to the border with Canada, or even Mexico.

There is another thread that suggests that ALL AOL users are located by IP address to the US, so ALL users of AOL are likely to be served up the CTXM platform, rather than the Playtech one. They may NOT realise this is WRONG, because this is a new casino, so there is no reason to expect a particular brand of software.[/quote]

That was from a post nearly two years old.

I didn't spot this, as I assumed this was a completely new thread, and that this Netherlands oddity had just happened. With the 2 year old stuff gone, and the latest update, it seems these points have all been addressed, and the remaining one about access to the terms will be dealt with shortly.

Assumption verified - so I split the thread and closed the other:

This is all starting to get clearer now.

It is? I have no idea how to interpret SIACasino's post?

I am going to assume :D that the rep didn't read all of THIS thread yet. Bryan has answered my questions  and I may try the CTXM no download version later tonight just to see what the games are like.

Correction - Updated below

Hi,

I am the Sports Interaction Casino rep on the forums.

I know this is an old thread but I would like to clarify the questions here.

1. Playtech accepts players from the Netherlands

2. Sports Interaction offers players different products based on their location.

US based players use a bespoke platform

All other locations are served by Playtech (with some exceptions)

I hope this is helpful in resolving this issue.

Once again my apologies for any confusion here.

Thanks

Ross

Well, I tried one slot game (LOL), freaky Gym. IMO, it was freaky alright...
Short synopsis that pops up when the game loads...
Freaky pot is a guaranteed win paid after 60 spins. Freaky pot is accumulated from your stakes and can be multiplied up to 500X. The bonus feature is activated with the total stake of 0.50 or more. This is a 30 line slot.

I played in fun mode with a starting balance of $500.00 fun money. I played $1/line (all 30 lines). By spin 30 I only had enough money to make a $7.50 bet , lost, and the counter automatically reset to $500.00 fun money. The next reset of fun money balance was on spin 54.I won the freaky pot on spin 60 for a line win of $10.00 ad a FP of $464.21.

On spins 61,80, 94, and 97 I received the free spin feature (3 free spins, not sure if you get more spins with 4 or 5 scatters... didn't look at the pay table).
spin 61 3 free spins netted me $24.00 - no line win
spin 80 3 free spins netted me $7.00 - no line win
spin 94 3 free spins netted me $18.50 + line win of $7.00
spin 97 3 free spins netted me $24.00 + $60.00 line win

On spin 108 I got the second Freaky pot for $393.00 and won a bonus round which won me $500.00
There were 52 wins/ 120 spins.
My ending balance after 120 spins was $1136.49 for a loss of $363.51.

The reels stopped all at the same time, and it took approximately 7-11 seconds for the reels to stop spinning (this may be due to my internet connection though. I'm on a satellite connection which is faster than dial-up but slower than cable/dsl). And on this particular game, I highly recommend trying to figure out how to turn the sound off!

I may try a few of the other games later. But that's my take on the one game.

Well, that's $200 gone through their blackjack tables faster than it took to finish the sign up process. Dealer got a large amount of 19's and 20's.

Should have known better than to trust a software that's not well known. But maybe it was just bad luck

Lesson learned. Will move on to a more trusted brand.

OK, so I download to see all the rules, etc. Then I sign up and find out I can't deposit there. OK, I try to uninstall the casino and I can't find it! I used search, checked everywhere and can not find the puppy!!

Any help would be really appreciated. :)

jod? Did you do the search for sports interactive, SIA or CTXM? Nothing showed up in your control panel under add/remove programs? This could cause serious problems (especially if this is a large file taking up valuable space on your HD) for those who find out they can't play at this casino. I still think they need to make the casino section T&Cs available WITHOUT having to download. It certainly isn't a positive action for this sportsbook/casino and will only contribute to more negativity as more and more minor complaints crop up, JMO.

1st deposit bonus only for US players.....

@Casino Rep

Please explain why your first deposit bonus is only available for US people. Not that I don`t like the Americans...but c`mo what is this for a strange and funny rule?

You really want to get rid of the people from the old world????' :eek2:

There is a first deposit bonus for NON US players too.

From the Casino homepage you should see it - also if you click through any of the links on this site it will take you there.

Hope this has been helpful

Hi,

You should be able to deposit in the Casino - if you want to PM me a screenshot of what you are seeing I would be more than happy to take a look.

Hi,

Our software is audited quarterly and the certificates can be found at the bottom of any of our pages.

I thought I'd share my experience with SIA.
Getting my documents checked took quite a while...5 business days I think and the withdrawals could not be processed before that.
But once that was done, the withdrawals were really fast...gotta love a Playtech with less than 24hr withdrawals to Neteller.
Got really lucky at their casino and ended up with over a 1200€ profit...just from slots.
Overall compared to many other Playtechs...imho SIA is way better.
Live Chat was friendly and overall experience good.
If they just could speed up the verification process...otherwise would suggest getting the account verified before depositing and playing if you want your withdrawals to be processed quickly.

Hi,

I'm not sure why you couldn't receive the 100% FDB for Playtech as it is available to all NON US players.

US players are not allowed on Playtech platform.

Just to confirm:

Please contact our customer service team with the details of your deposit and they will take care of you.

100% FDB is available to all players regardless of platform.

Thanks

Ross
