Deposited 11.50 euros at Spinson with 20 free spins on Jumanji

Doubled my money almost wagering 19.80 then made a withdraw.

Then played my free spins and lost.

I just received this email which I cannot believe.

    Hi Brian

I hope all is well and that you are enjoying our free spins,

You need to turnover your deposit at least 10x before you can make a withdrawal in accordance with our bonus T&C. Since you deposited £11.5 you must wager £115 before requesting a withdrawal.

Your withdrawal has been returned to your account and a withdrawal will be approved once the 10x wagering of the deposit amount has been met. Not including the wagering from your free spin bonus.

You have currently wagered £0so you have another £115 before you can request a withdrawal.

    Best regards

    Ida

This email is not visible to you.

I checked there terms and it states
    Withdraw without playing
If a player deposit and try to make a withdraw without playing any rounds Spinson may at its on discretion enforce a 10x wagering on slots on the deposited amount. Wagering with bonus money does not count towards this wagering requirement.

    But I played rounds.

I have emailed them back stating this just awaiting on a response

It's not worth a PAB as it is only a small amount but just to give you guys a heads up.

On the same page, above the term you quoted is this:

    Deposit bonus

New members can take part of 3 different deposit bonuses. You can only select one bonus and the cash bonuses have a wagering requirement of 30 x bonus + deposit. Free spins winnings must be wagered 40 times and you need to turnover your deposited amount 10 times on slots. Maximum bet is £5 when playing with bonus money. Cash bonuses must be wagered within 15 days and free spins bonuses within 5 days. Same rules apply to all of our existing bonuses.

So i guess that means winnings from free spins wager is 40x , and your deposit must be wagered 10x regardless of what you win from the spins. If so, then well yeah i assume depositing £20 and winning (for example) 50p from 20 jumanji spins means a player must wager £200 because of having won a 50p bonus. Noice.

Just used a calculator and yep, £19.80 = £0 is showing as incorrect.

Can't see how you've done 0 wagering either since you need a balance to wager, after reading this term in bold below:

""Some of the casino games that we offer here at Spinson contribute different percentages to the turnover requirement that you can see here.
[[[[personally, when i click the word 'here' while using my tablet it does not do anything, neither is it a different colour/bold, or react like a word usually does if you have the option to click on it, so i ceartinly can't see anything there]]]].
Also some slots and table games can be excluded from certain campaigns. In order to find out which games that are excluded please contact customer support. One way to see yourself if a game is excluded is that your account balance is not visible in a specific game if having a bonus"

Thanks for the headsup though ;)

You cannot believe what was written in the email. I cannot believe that your are publicly admitting fraudulent play.

This is the typical behavior why casinos ask for deposits to be wagered xxx times before withdrawal, additionally to AML prevention. In casino speak, your actions are called "bonus whoring", meaning you place minimal risk wagers, then quickly withdraw your deposit + any profit and only after that you are playing the Free Spins.

You are supposed to play your Free Spins first and only withdraw after wagering is completed. Other casinos have very clear terms about that, e.g. try your stunt at Trada.

Hence, sorry but no sympathy from me because all other players, who are not using your rather fraudulent tactics, are suffering as higher wagering requirements on deposits are implemented to counter the actions from players like you.

What I agree with is that asking to wager the deposit 10x is rather steep. Question is whether that applies to pure cash deposits where no Free Spins are added. If yes, then it is indeed a rip-off as usually casinos ask minimum x1 wagering only before withdrawal of a cash deposit.

@Brian Wylie I'm not sure they are allowed to enforce wagering on the cash part of your deposit anymore. This applies to UK players and you quote £££ so presumably this must be true for you. They can enforce wagering on the freespins but not the cash part of your balance. Sounds very iffy to me.

Holy shit, let's call Interpol! 20 free spins on Jumanji, this is serious stuff.

Harry, the guy doubled his money almost, surely he has a right to take it out?

Certainly not Interpol, but there are thousand of players doing exactly that and according to a few casino reps they are mostly from the UK (no saying UK people, but living in the UK).

The general rule is that you have to wager minimum 1x you deposit. The OP barely did that much, hence why it is a clear indication that he is "bonus whoring".

If he does that continuously, then it is in my view fraudulent and leads to even more restrictive rules for bonus/Free Spin offers.

I'm only kiddin' mate, I know nothing about that scene. I rarely take a bonus, too much hassle, but then again, I don't play slots.

    Not Scousers, by any chance?

    Alright Harry chill.

If I deposit real money, wager that money and win some then withdraw is the whole point of gambling or am I missing something here irrelevant of how much?

The other question is would they have approved the withdraw if i did not use the free spins.

The free Spins are just an add on and any winnings need to be wagered 40x which is fine but should be seperated from the deposit. As said above wagering £200 on a 50p win as downright ludicrous.

I think it's terms like these that rip people off as requiring you to wager your deposit 10x just because you took free Spins that would probably amount to a few pound is rogue.

    Just my opinion.

Also Spinson have agreed to send the money but closed my account.

Thats correct, despite agreeing with Harrys post above, they cannot withold your cash under UKGC rules. There are other ways to protect against this play (see Redbet terms for one).

More seriously however, all of the Everymatrix casino’s ignore the UKGC segregation of cash and bonus.

This means any type of deposit bonus ties them both together, there is no cash only withdrawal allowed

Not really fair on the other UKGC casinos who have to abide by the rules is it - apart from being illegal as well.

Wouldn’t’mind particularly, but sure as hell if you broke their rules you would see a swift confiscation, not quite as good at following rules themselves it seems.

Agree that barely wagering the deposit, withdrawing it and then playing the fs would indicate bonus whoring.
Obviously was making some assumptions in the above post not knowing all the ins and outs of the rules there.

But i don't understand how in the email reply it is said you currently wagered £0 of the £115 requirement of the 10x WR on deposits with bonuses and that you still need to wager £115 before being allowed to withdraw , when you claim to have wagered £19.80 before attempting a withdrawal and playing any spins. if somehow you was playing a game that contributes £0 towards wagering it would make sense, but there is no mention of that.

I have a particularly strong dislike for everymatrix so I really hope they become a cropper.

But the part about it being illegal isn't technically true as things stand. What the CMA concluded was that it was very likely to be illegal but ultimately it is a matter for the courts to decide although the CMA could initiate that action if they decide the casinos are ignoring their enforcement notices. I suspect that is much more a question of when and not if.

I agree with you that there is nothing wrong with depositing and withdrawing when you feel like.

However, your sequence of events indicate that you were "bonus whoring" and this wasn't the first time. There are entire websites out there promoting these kind of things with members only access. Hence, whenever I read this type of story it usually is just that, "bonus whoring". My apologies if I am wrong.

Their T&C's for Free Spins on deposit, even for the UK, say WR 10x deposit, so when you took up that offer you agreed to the terms. Whether they are legal in the UK is something you could pursue with the UKGC or the like.

    Thanks Harry making things clearer.

I do believe though that free spins winnings should not be linked with a real money deposit.
With that in mind it is irrelevant when/if/how you use the free spins as you only bound to wagering of the free spins winnings.
So bonus whoring does not even come into it.

Obviously if you deposit and wager your deposit at least which i did.
