Spammer's name and shame time

Morons take heed. Today/yesterday user casinojan posts in another's intro thread the following post:

I'm casinojan this is my first time being on this forum....

I'm happy to be here so far there alot of things I'm reading about.

It was reported by vegetagirl2008 via the "report a post" function (thanks!) and Max jumped in, removed the links, and moved the post to its own thread (after a mild spanking). I checked out the user, did him a favor by upgrading his account to include the user group "Webmeister" and invited him to the webmaster's section. Then I checked out his URLs and IP....

Turns out that another member had spammed the forum from the same IP for the same URLs a few weeks ago.

EDITED TO ADD: This is too funny. Was doing my early morning rounds of the different forums I read daily, and came across a link at GIA that was started by a poster named Casinoyaya (a name to watch for I'd guess Bryan). Anyway, they were spamming a site named XXcasinofan.com. The link was edited out originally, but then someone picked up on the fact that the site was one of Lou's, did a bit of searching, and yep....it's Lou's website. Wow, how the mighty have fallen. So it's not just CM...it looks like a mass spamming campaign. Grandmaster and KK may want to keep a close eye on WOL and OCR, respectively. If they haven't made their way there yet, I'm sure they will. Too sad....and who says karma isn't alive and well, right Swampwitch?

casinoyaya is spamming GIA for a site owned by Lou Fabiano (casinofan.com). Probably a marketing campaign? If so, Lou should probably pay attention. This person has ignored our posts and now posted asking for link exchanges. Reporting to aff managers soon to follow.

I would disagree. However I certainly do agree he's that smart, (to turn such a situation into an advertising for free opportunity).

Lou needs a base hit. He's had time to rest up for the task so hopefully if he's returning to the gaming niche then it'll be with that as a goal. Leaning into a pitch to get on base just isn't going to get past the umpire ... or the crowd for that matter.

He is having one of his associates post his links at least a dozen times a day or more on the Facebook wall where she is added as a mutual friend of some of us. So, hold the self-righteous indignation: you have been given a second chance not cleared of the original charges.

In the spirit of making the best of that second chance I suggest you have a good read of the Forum Rules because therein you will find the following:

1.1 - No "Flaming": Please do not post any messages that harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame another member or guest. Abusive behavior will not be tolerated and your account may be suspended. ...

From what I've seen your recent posts have only been made to "harass, insult, belittle, threaten or flame" the other members. Don't. You'll get banned just as quickly for that kind of behaviour as you were for spamming in the first place.
