Just curious really as to how many casinos are a sole operator and do not form part of a group. Naturally the likes of 888, Cassava, Everymatrix, Nektan, William Hill, etc who own countless sites, it is hard to pick out the single operators, if that makes sense!

The ones I know of, or believe are not owned within a group, are:

Videoslots
Trada
Virgin Games
Casumo
BetFred
Paddy Power

Is there any point in the licence owner opening so many sites under one licence? Or does, for example, Cassava set up and sell off sites under their licence to individual operators, bit like a franchise?

Just rattling around in my head really as surely one flagship brand is better than 10's of lesser known sites? Sorry, just curious how the business operates.

Having multiple skins/brands is mostly to increase exposure in the hope it will attract more punters overall. It is probably working as otherwise you wouldn't have that many multi-operators.

Personally, i prefer it when one doesn't have too many skins operated at the same time. I think if they concentrate on 1 or maybe 2-3 the product is much better and more focused.

Oops, sorry, didn't do a proper research about that. ....You are right, it is called Garbo Casino but i don't have the impression it is really operating, the site looks very poor, have a look: Outdated URL (Invalid)

And then was this post about them in 2014, this probably is just for the UK traffic:

Hi Everyone

I have just received confirmation that due to Legal issues all Garbo traffic will be redirected to our sister company Mr Green who will continue to operate in the UK.

A landing page explaining the situation will go live shortly.

Re the virgin issue I will make sure the tech team are aware of it.

Thanks again
Sarah

It was set up for mobiles from the start but I know they did/do have plans for it. Andy stopped working at MrGreen so now I don't know what will happen to it.

/derailing but...

Great signature Valhalla  :D

It's not directed at you (experienced) guys and galls. I just hope some newbies take the advice. I'm trying to save some frustration and heartache :D

Getting back to the thread -

Never realised Mr Green had a sister site. Garbo definitely fly below the radar.

MrGreen also owns Mybet.it.

Other sole operators to add to the list are:

LeoVegas.com

Slotsmillion.com

Ahacasino.com
