Quite the blast here last night; 70km winds, minus 20 degrees, 30cm plus snow.
Probably not so uncommon for some of you EU members (not even for us really where minus 40 and a few feet is a thing - if it weren't blue skies and sunshine last week).

Poor pup - lol

it was not so bad here...last nite the snow was whipping around pretty good...high winds. ....it's now snowing lightly.....I hate winter. I live in the wrong country.

I'm not posting any snow pictures. why depress myself further. Lol. Is there an emoji where one .....cries..

I wished. We've been 'promised' -15 and snow for about the last two months over here. The other day we stepped out it was bloody sunny!

But then we are seeing the strong winds kick in since yesterday, so we can but hope for eventual grim weather with some token snow.

I'm jealous of your proper winters!

Yeah, same here in Sussex - just a quick blast of hail/snowy stuff which actually settled... for about 30 minutes - then it was all gone.
It's annoying to hear people complaining about snow when we'd LOVE to have a few cm which lasts a day or more here!

....wah...the snow is pretty. i get it....when you haven't seen it... but its been snowy and generally miserable here since dec....and this is a good year...last year we had record breaking snowfall and cold...it was evil...and brutal...sometimes i feel like winter will never end...

but there is hope...spring is right around the corner...

if you'd like i'll courier you a snow ball....lol...and anyone else on here who wants one....

Born and raised in central Illinois............ I am sure it is nothing like Canada weather in the winter but it gets bad enough for me!

I even have nightmares about it snowing in the summer months!

i used to watch a show on history about rescuing wrecked trucks on canadian highways, dont know the name but for reference one chubby skinhead in his 50s was the boss. boy the winter there isnt at least half how ...weak? is in norway like ive seen in another show about the same thing. trouble in norway is unpredictable harsh blizzard, abrupt roads on the mountains covered in snow compared to canadas non stop tons of snow. winter is my favorite season since i was a child but this year was the warmest in 50 years or so since the romanian weather control do measures. one snow fell in january and that was all. not a single flake during feb. back in the days the air currents used to come from russia and terror the people bones. dont know what has changed over the years but this one sucked mammoth balls. probably the only year in the past 10 when i havent the chance to drink hot coffee during snow storm and inject fun and adrenaline on a improvised abrupt trail from the lack of snow

I have driven on that highway before.....in the summer. It is one crazy fricken highway never seen anything like it. You can honestly put your car in neutral and just coast downwards for like 40 minutes straight without ever having to use the gas pedal. I couldnt imagine driving on it in the winter. They have off ramps built in case trucks get going to fast and cant slow down. They drive off the road and up them so it slows them down. Talk about scary and dangerous.

Sunday was really weird here in our city.

Two of our kids posted pictures to FaceBook of their snowy yards.

It was enough to cover any and all greenery.

I said NO WAY!

We are across town, maybe 4-5 miles at the very most.

Not a flake here............ nothing!

It was kind of strange.
