Slotsmillion - nearly 300 games missing

Good for the Canadians :)

Speaking of Merkur, Bally Wulff and the "Sons of Ra" category, I'm fairly sure you have mixed up some Bally Wulff and Merkur slots in those categories. As an example I believe book of Romeo and Julia and Fort Brave are both Bally Wulff.

And then onto the Sons of Ra category: If you want to include all games that play like Book of Ra and not just themed after it (like Magic Mirror), you are missing a whole lot of Merkur and bally wulff games. Magic Book and Magic Book 6, Crystal Ball, the previously mentioned Book of Romeo and Julia all play like Book of Ra.

Hello 4048.
Thank you very much for noticing these mistakes. We are now contacting our provider, in order for us to provide the right Brand to the right games.

About the the other "Sons of Ra" games, your advice was really helpful.
We have added them to their new Ra family.

Regards.

Hehe, no problem.
Maybe I should consider a career in consulting.

Hi Sonict,

One good news! Merkur games are now available for Canadian players on SlotsMillion  I would appreciate if you could confirm that you see them properly while logged in.

Next step: Ecopayz as a cashout method :)

Cheers,
T.

I just logged in and I can confirm that the games both from "Bally Wulff" and "Merkur" load up fine while logged in. I don't have any Real money in my account ATM to play these, but I will make a deposit soon since most of these games are ones I haven't played before. :)

Now the only other issue ( Not Ecopayz... Thanks for the update. :) ) is the website making most slots have major slowdowns in terms of framerates ( Not connection performance to slot provider, that is fine ). On a few other sites playing the same game, it runs really well. Yggdrasil games for example run way slower on your site compared to others. Something on your website is having an effect on the slots performance. Don't know what it is, but I know it is there. It doesn't matter if I use Chrome or Firefox, The game framerates are not that good on your site.

Thanks for the update, Thomas. Can't wait for the Ecopayz cashout to be a reality soon!

Many hours ago when I made my previous post, I thought all of the merkur problems were solved for us Canadians. I only noticed now that when you aren't logged in, you see 12 more merkur slots that we should be able to play! Doh!

The games that I don't see upon logging in are...

1) Knight's Life
2) Blazing Star
3) El Torero
4) Double Triple Chance
5) Dragons Treasure
6) Extra Wild
7) Super (777) Reels
8) Extra 10 liner
9) Gold of Persia
10) Jolly Cap
11) Candy & Fruits
12) 221B Baker Street

This is a screenshot when not logged in:

Here is what I see when I am logged in:

So close, yet so far.

At least you got Magic Mirror :)

Though of course access to Knight's Life should be a human right.

Hello everyone.
I reached this issue to our product.

It would have been a shame to not propose Knight's Life to everybody, for sure.

Everything should be fine now.
Sorry for the inconvenience. :)

A bit off-topic but has Slotsmillion considered approaching Novomatic or Stakelogic?
To be fair, Novomatic has fallen a bit out of favor with me (never a single venture bonus :( ) but I'm a fan of Stakelogic's video slots.

Right after I typed the above I also noticed you are missing WMS. Any particular reason that you can share?

I do have some insight as to how casinos pick up providers but I haven't worked with it very closely.

I just logged in to check and all is well now.

Only real issue I have is just the performance of the slots in general like I said a few posts ago.

Hope you guys can make the site not eat up all of your CPU cycles before you even can play a game. :)

Hey there. I am glad you guys are are listening to players suggestions. Which is the reason that brought me here. You guys have a ladies night bonus which is a 40% reload bonus...which is great and all. But then the expiry date to make the 48x wager is 4 days. Some people have jobs and a life and giving someone 4 days is nowhere near enough nor is it fair.

I am also in agreement with Sonic. When I play here or watch someone stream your casino, its awfully laggy and is very frustrating to deal with. And its with all of your games pretty much.

Thanks and take care.

Hi Sonict,

Thank you for this very valuable feedback.
I'll make sure our tech guys investigate this issue on Monday.

We're actually negotiating with Novomatic/StakeLogic and IGT.
SG aka WMS is a must have and we will be able to add them after the ones I just mentioned.
I should be able to share with you an important announcement before the end of the month related to a deal with a major provider.
I'd like to hear your pick on how casinos pick up providers?

Edit: I decided to remove the post as it wasn't something I wanted to share.
To sum up: my experience with providers is lackluster at best, as I've only viewed from an outside perspective.

Thank you

Hi lockinlove,

The reason why the expiry date is 4 days is because the Ladies Night is every Monday and Happy Hour every Friday which are two promotions recurring each week.

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback related to the slowness of games: we have been investigating the lagging issue for a couple of days since some of our players reported having pretty much the same experience as you did.The subject is not yet resolved but I can share with you the status of our investigation:

Yggdrasil games are slower than others
We have made several rounds of tests and observed that those games sometimes experience a huge drop in framerate during spins.
We executed the same tests isolated from the casino (directly on the provider's server) and had the same result, we concluded the lagging issue is not on the casino front side. We however do not exclude that the issue could come from a particular configuration/set up of the environment dedicated to us - which would explain why these games lag particularly on our website.
We are in touch with Yggdrasil techs to try to find out what could cause such lags and they have been quite responsive so far in investigating the topic.

Lags on games seem to be related to specific computer configurations
Apart from the Yggdrasil case which we believe is not related, there are also lags reported on other providers - and seem more noticeable on recent HTML5 games. They seem to be related to particular PC configurations - ironically enough it seems to impact "powerful" machines and not the low/med configurations. For instance, our Game Manager has a "fairly recent high MSI config" and gets lags from time to time, while our content writer has an "old Dell notebook low config" and runs those games like a charm. Most players mention they don't have particular slowness issues on the site/games - which comforts us in the idea that it is graphic card related (we're thinking about a conflict with the rendering of our front and some GC drivers).

We clearly aren't through this topic yet, it is however difficult to reproduce for us and so to investigate and fix.
We had in the roadmap the complete rebuilding of the game page before the end of the year - to change the design and clean it a bit with more lightweight solutions; it is likely we will have to go on with the project earlier than expected.

I hope I will have good updates to give you soon.

Cheers

I noticed a few new Bally Wulf games recently and thus I wanted to try them out. So I load up "Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn"... Moments later... The game is playing really poorly and my web browser becomes unresponsive and such. I usually watch a stream of some sort in the background and then that became very choppy. I decide to pop open task manager and I see this... My memory was all used up!

I did a few more tests and I found out it is some weird interaction with "ADOBE FLASH" and games that use it from Bally Wulf! I loaded up the same game on sunmaker and the same issue occurred. Tried loading up a Bally Wulf that uses Flash player on Videoslots and... same issue!

I'll try updating my graphic card drivers, but I doubt it will do much. I don't get these issues on PnG Flash, or Microgaming Flash so I am stumped!

So far though despite this recent discovery for me, the site does work better than before and it is hard for me to find performance issues on slots. I blame Adobe Flash in the end.

Here are two pictures showing taskmanager. First one is before I load a Flash player - Bally Wulf game and the next one was taken over 30 seconds after it loaded. It is shocking to see.

BEFORE:
taskmanager_noballywulf_flashplayer.png

AFTER:
taskmanager_ballywulf_flashplayer_running.png

.... I have no words. It seems like it is a provider issue with those flash games doing something that is causing a memory leak to occur on my system. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Had a e-mail come through tonight for a high-rolling 75% bonus complete with Yggdrasil graphics and subject line... log on to SlotsMillion and find less than 500 games available to UK players now on desktop and less than 400 on iPad?

Has Yggdrasil ever been available to UK in the first place?

Hello Nicola,
As stated in a different post, we apologize if our portfolio is frustrating at the moment.
We are working on adding more slots for UK players.

Yggdrasil is available in the UK, but not on SlotsMillion yet.

Not really, colinsunderland. You need to remember that the number you see at least for now since you are in the UK is going to be small because of the providers that you have access to ATM.

While I myself can see 1.4K games as a Canadian, Slotsmillion has closer to 2K games overall.

On Videoslots, it is the same deal. They may have 2.2K+ games, but since I can't play on most of the providers, the number is more like 1.5K - 1.6K. The thing is that the casino actually has that amount so that number is correct. Our numbers will vary because of not being able to play certain providers.

I was about to answer colinsunderland, but you were faster than me!
I have nothing to add except that I'll talk to our Product department about changing this sentence which is not relevant for all countries.

Thanks.

Well you are clearly geo tagging by the fact the top amount of games is correct for the uk, what I was getting at was, geo tag for the whole page then you can have the correct amount of games per country.

Hello colinsunderland,

We do indeed GEO target players when it comes to regulatory and fraud rules to be 100% accurate for obvious reasons. Hence the dynamic list of games, payment methods, terms and conditions...

We also GEO target as much as possible when it comes to promotional information (the welcome offer is a good example) but we do take shortcuts on some elements (News aren't GEO targeted, they are language-based only). The footer presentation is a promotional area, written by a content writer. To have this text 100% accurate, we should consider: players don't have the same list of games by licence, by country, by currency, by device.

Since the effort of making 16 different versions of the same text is huge to simply say that we have "a lot of games" we simply wrote "over a thousand games" - which used to be correct for all players until we had to close a bunch of games temporarily for UK.

I took note that it is misleading, we will rephrase this block to not mention any number of games so we are sure it is true in any circumstances.

Regards
