Providers that offer lower RTPs versions of their slots

I had a bit of spare time today so put together a list of all the main slot providers (in my view), and whether or not they offer lower RTPs versions on their slots.

To do this I compared RTPs for at least two slots from each provider, Unibet vs Leo Vegas. Unibet, as far as I know, haven't taken on lower RTP versions. Leo Vegas have. I also chose these two online casinos as they both have large slot catalogues.

This is by no means a complete representation (nor will it be 100% accurate), but it is enough to at least get an idea of which slots you might get the best value across the various casinos.

If you think I have made a mistake with any of the providers, please say so in a reply.

I hope someone finds this helpful.

(Mods - if there is a better way to represent the table below, please let me know!)

Pretty sure there is alot more than what you have said no at.

Microgaming, IGT, Hacksaw (VS run it at 92%!), High 5 Games (IGT games), No Limit, Just for the winm Stakelogic all run lower RTP profiles I believe.

Are you able to provide some examples? I can check them out and update the table.

CasinoNinja is correct about the providers he mentioned, all of them offer multiple rtp versions.
Too lazy to bring up comparisons tho, so you have to check for yourself if you dont believe it.

To add to the list, Thunderkick&Novomatic also offer multiple rtp:s.

Edit: all41studios aswell. I would assume most, if not all the studios making games for microgaming offer multiple versions.

All of no limit games run at 94% on VS for example, same for Stakelogic games. Microgaming revamps run at lower RTP too like Thunder Struck 2, Immortal Romance etc.
If you want to check if a provider runs at a lower RTP, just go to Videoslots, they always go for the lower RTP version these days sadly.

And yes @Kroffe is right, Thunderkick run Pink Elephants 2 at 94% on some sites too

Im not sure what the easiest way to check is.
I looked just now at slotcatalog, and they dont list hacksaw as having multiple rtp versions, so that site is no good for this.
I guess comparing games on Unibet & Videoslots would give you a good idea.
If they are using the same rtp for a slot there is a good chance that provider only offer one version.

Some providers, Thunderkick&Netent (first ones that come to mind) only offer multiple versions on some of their slots.
I think Thunderkick only has a couple slots with multiple versions, and Netent has not yet re-made all their slots so they have multiple versions, but i assume its coming.

My logic is that if a provider offers some of their slots at lower RTPs, I’ll avoid them at all casinos other than the couple that don’t take lower versions of any slots (which is a dying thing I know).

Just trying to help myself and others to get the best value for their gambling dollar…

MicroGaming and NetEnt only offer lower RTP on a selection of slots, not the entire catalogue.
IGT have always had variable RTP

Thunderkick: Yes, but only on three games currently (Sword of Khans, Pink Elephants 2 and Jin Chan Pond of Riches)

Microgaming: Yes, on their 'remasters' and any new releases, older classics seem to be safe but most have been discontinued.

No limit: Yes reduced RTP versions at videoslots.

BTG do have versions of 'feature drop' games with feature drop removed, this must affect the rtp slightly.

I may be wrong, but i think Jin chans pond of riches only exist in 94% version.
Sites like Vera&John, nordicbet that run everything at full rtp have it at 94% same as videoslots.

Cant seem to find it in many places to check so you may be right.
also I removed quickspin from the list as well as they appear to be on 96% even at VS now.

Add the following as yes for definite:

Microgaming
Push Gaming
Stakelogic
Hacksaw Gaming
IGT

Some single version developers have started releasing in the 95%/94% arena.

Low, but honest and upfront as opposed to the variable providers.

p.s. as far as I know Thunderkick are still single versions.

Yeah its just something ive assumed since sites that run everything at max have it at 94% never asked about it.

@bamberfishcake
PE2 exists in 94&96% version for sure.
Source: My eyes just looked at PE2 at V&J vs Videoslots and saw two different versions.

Edit: most of their slots only have one version tho it seems.

PE2?

I know it will be obvious but acronyms are just a bunch of letters to me :)

After a night to sleep on this coupled with the feedback received, I’ve come to the realisation that this will be a fruitless effort. It looks as if most providers are offering multiple RTPs on at least some of their games now. As disappointing as it is, it’s also reality now.

It looks like I’ll have to stick with the known three UK casinos that don’t run lower RTP versions (Unibet, Novibet, and Bet365).

Mods - if you want to either delete or close this thread, all good.

No, it's not futile.

You can play Relax Gaming, Yggdrasil Gaming, Big Time Gaming, Fantasma Games, ReelPlay, Avatar UX and many many more who offer single version slots.

Good thread and one that helps players and raises awareness.

Based on a bit of encouragement from @bamberfishcake above (thanks), I decided to spend the time and cross reference slot RTPs with Videoslots’ offerings.

Now please appreciate that I could not compare every single slot game, so there may be a couple of errors in my table if some suppliers only offer different RTPs on only a couple of their games. Also if you believe any of the entries are incorrect, please reply with a specific example so I can update the table. I cannot go searching for a needle in a haystack.

The only gap in my table is for Novomatics. Videoslots wouldn't let me into any of the Novos as my balance was too low (3p), and I don't really feel compelled to deposit to Videoslots again given the damning information I have discovered below!

I no longer have access to edit the table in my first post so I have copied again below. Perhaps one of the mods could give me access to edit the post indefinitely so I can keep it updated?
