Following RedBush54's post about Sloto becoming RTG software driven, I sent an email to Sloto asking when the announcement would be made public and what if anything might be delayed or problematic during the switch.

This is the response I received late yesterdday:

Dear Diane,

We will make an official statement early next week.

There should be no delays or issues with your cash out. You will also
be able to continue playing Rival games with us.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

XXXXXXX

So is this a first that a site will offer two types of games; Rival and RTG?

Slotocash is Not Recommended at Casinomeister.
Games from multiple software providers are not unusual these days - Mr Green, Sports Interaction, Virgin Bingo, Bet365, PaddyPower, Sky Vegas and G Casino all come to mind and I am sure there are many more.

Perhaps the affiliate manager quoted in the post in the other thread on this just communicated badly.

Hi Jetset,

Do you think eventually it will come where the casinos can apply ALL the fav's from the different software providers etc?
I know it's kinda happening with the ones you mentioned and bet365 taking on some MG games etc.

Will this become bigger in the future do you feel?

I definitely think it's a trend that will continue to grow in order for operators to offer the player a wider and therefore more attractive choice - hell, even conservative Microgaming is getting into it now.

There are also a growing number of smaller companies that are supplying their games to different major turnkey providers - names like Ash Gaming and NextGen come to mind - and they are contributing to the wider range of games now becoming increasingly available.

We compile a quarterly summary of new games and who has released them, and I can tell you that it's a big list every time.

As to an operator carrying something from everyone, I guess technically that may be possible but it may prove to be too complicated and even counter-productive by offering too wide a choice, but that's just my opinion.

It could be similar to what is occurring in B&M casinos -- where one machine can be played across a wide variety of games from VP to traditional slots. Anything that increases the games open to players (especially the poor US based players) is wonderful. I would applaud it loudly.

Sidebar -- I play some "fun" gameson Facebook. I found it amusing that one of the games open under Slotmania is the same Forest Treasures game that I play on Top Game software sites....

Deckmedia have two brands: Sloto is moving to RTG while Desert Nights is staying on Rival.
That's what I've been told too.
I think it's EXTREMELY unlikely that SlotoCash Casino will offer both RTG & Rival games within the same casino.
My guess is the OP was given incorrect information by a confused CS rep.
We'll find out soon enough anyway - the new SlotoCash is due to go live today or tomorrow...

KK -
I am the original poster on THIS thread. Info came to me in an email from my Casino Slot Host, Peter Vaughn. Can't tell if he was "confused" or not - but posted the email verbatim, just excluded his name originally.

It wasn't from generic CS.

FWIW.

PS.............we have missed your forum contributions lately. Stay active ok?

Do you mean my playing experiences?
If so, then you are right - I have not played anywhere near as much this year as I have in previous years.
Two reasons: a) There aren't as many decent bonus around as there used to be, and b) I just never seem to have enough free time for gambling :(

A good example: I claimed a match bonus at 32Red about a week ago - but have not played a single spin yet! :eek2:

Hopefully I will get to play more over the winter season now that all my holidays, family events and other distractions are coming to an end.
Cheers,
KK

From an e-mail i received from sloto i understood that rival games wiil be available at desert nights but the slotocash rival software will keep running for some time and you will be able to play there. You won't be able to deposit there' just play if you have money already in the account.
