More consolidation in the UK market

Players were being informed this week that UK online gambling sites Totalbet and Skybet are to merge in the next few weeks, creating a larger and more effective Internet gambling site.

Totalbet and several other top sites is part of 365 Media Group, which became part of British Sky Broadcasting Group plc in January 2007 (see previous InfoPowa report).

Totalbet player balances and accounts are currently being transferred to Sky Bet, with more updates for players promised in the next few weeks..

I too got this email from totalbet and UKbetting.

I take it that Skybet will use the cryptologic poker software?
(I hope so because I like their software, and Skybets is a very poor indeed).

Also do you know if its just the poker thats merging, or the whole sportsbook/casino as well?

    Thanks very much.

The e-mail I got was from the casino - so I assume it's that too.

I was going to post about this myself, but being tardy allowed Jetset to get in first!

I'm just wondering if Total Bet are going to settle down now; about 6-months ago they switched from Crypto to Playtech, and now they're going to WagerWorks!
