Silver Oak Casino warning

I received the email below after 'upper management' posted that I had been contacted by phone and email. Convenient that it was 'unanswered' according to Silver Oak. So I also posted some other emails showing that I have answered all the emails I received from them.

Just wanted to clear things up in case there might be some question as to my integrity in this matter. All of the emails I posted originated from the last one on the list, each was a reply back and forth.

Mike, I sympathize with your payments problems, however, I have been waiting almost a month for my withdrawal. It took almost 3 weeks to get it approved. Now I still don't know when I will be paid. It should not matter whether the withdrawal was for $1000 or $75, I still should have been paid in a timely manner.

Dear Customer,

This is Mike K with Silver Oak Casino. It was approved on the 28th and will be processed soon we appologise for the delay, these smaller payments are tougher to process than the big wires they have to go moneygram and we are only allowed a limited number of daily transactions but we will get a hold of you soon with the info.

Sincerely,

Mike K

My user name is xxxxxx. I have an approved withdrawal for $75 that I was told would be paid this week. I made this withdrawal on 1/8 so I am anxious to receive it. I would like to know the status of my withdrawal, method of payment and expected payment date. Thank you, xxxx

roslilj,

Might want to reread my thread. The only way I got paid was by using just a little bit of knowledge about where to post what. If you don't get paid, don't pitch a bitch here, cause they are play at your own risk. I waited 3 weeks before I started pressing for payment. I never thought I would get paid but on principle, I kept pushing. But I knew they were 'rogue' and so I took the chance anyway. If I hadn't gotten paid, it wouldn't have been any loss on my paid as I won on a freebie.

I truly hope you get your money in a timely manner.

roslilj,

I sincerely hope you get your money. Just keep on top of them. I would never have known that they had actually paid me had I not called myself. I received an email from Mike about 5 days after I had picked up the wire that it had been sent.

I hope it works out for you.

yeah i will e-mail the payout department on wednesday =). I will write like you did, anxious to recieve it =)

They must be understaffed or something, or having lots of withdrawals to Western Union / Moneygram.

Subject: Approved withdrawal sent soon?

Dear Customer,

This is Mike K with Silver Oak Casino. These smaller payout are sent via moneygram or western union which take a bit of time for us to set up because of the low amount we can send on a daily basis.

Sincerely,

Mike K

roslilj,

Sorry to tell you but I got the same email when I was trying to get paid. I firmly believe that the only reason I ever got paid is because I posted at every forum I belong to. Then and only then did I ever get any response from them. BigDaddyMD (I think that's the name. It's in this thread somewhere) came in and tried to help. Don't know why he hasn't jumped in here.

Just keep at them. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

What is up with the Silver Oak Live Support? Aren't they connected close to the casino or what?

They know nothing, just have prewritten stuff answering...7-10 days bla bla bla..

Live support: 7-10 days.
E-mail support: 5-7 days.

I'm sitting out for a while now, will e-mail them on thursday next week again.

roslilj,

Any luck with your cashout? I finally used email and started calling them too. I would get lucky and get Mike or Steve on the phone sometimes. Course most of the time they lied to me too but by then it had become a principle matter. Keep after them daily. Post at all the forums you belong to. Even if you never get paid, maybe someone else will read the posts and not deposit there.

No luck yet I'm afraid.

I am expecting a payment at the end of this week.

Silver Oak Casino is a real joke casino. Same as Cirrus Casino when I tried to withdraw there 2-3 years ago. Took 15-20 buisness days through neteller.

What did they lie about?

The Live Support isn't very helpful. You used that too Anniemac?

A site operator will be with you momentarily. Please be reminded, in order to ensure your future deposits and withdrawals are processed efficiently, it is very important to verify that we have your current personal information updated in our system along with any documentation necessary for withdrawals. Thank you for your cooperation.
Thank you for using our LiveChat Service. This is 'Alex'. How can I help you?
Bjrn x: Hi, I want to recieve my withdrawal now please
Alex: May I have your userID please?
Bjrn x: XXXXXXXXX
Bjrn x: Can you please ask your manager, if he is going to send my payment by moneygram or western union. This is urgent! I have been waiting for you to make the transfer for a very long time. Mike K is not answering on the e-mail either. I will post in every forum if the payment has not been sent before friday this week
Alex: Is expect to be paid by Wednesday or Friday afternoon, next week.
Bjrn x: next week?
Alex: Yes Sir, sorry but we are running a little bit late.
Bjrn x: why ?
Bjrn x: you will only lose customers if you keep up with the slow paying
Bjrn x: a month for a withdrawal is not acceptable
Bjrn x: :(
Bjrn x: how you know that it's going to be paid by wednesday or friday next week? have you asked Mike K (the casino manager?) ?
Alex: Due the amount of pay outs we can send out each week, we have some many pending pay outs that there's only a certain amount we can send by week.
Bjrn x: Ok, so it's 100% sure that I will get the withdrawal by wednesday or friday next week
Bjrn x: ?
Alex: Mike is not here, I been on this Casino quite a while. I have a notion of the time frames.
Bjrn x ok..
Alex: It's expected to, but is not a 100%
Bjrn x: yeah ok

At least Anniemac or Daere you were paid long time before me :)

just curious...don't you have a Neteller account that they could send it to?

They accept Neteller deposits but does not allow Neteller withdrawals. Very strange. All withdrawals have to go via Western Union / Moneygram, wire transfer (min. withdrawal $1000 for banktransfer).

Btw. The support said last week that i would receive my withdrawal early this week. Now they say next week lol. What a scam operation. E-mail support is ignoring messages + the Live Support gives wrong information.

This appalling, to say the least. "Due to the amount of payouts"? This says cash flow problems loud and clear. Have to wait for some other hapless sucker to deposit first.

Eventually they will run out of hapless suckers, and no one will be paid.

I thought it was bad enough that the OP was told that as a non-depositing player she was of lower priority. How on earth would a casino expect a player to return after comments like that.

I wish you luck in receiving your funds...I know sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I posted at APCW yesterday and have not had one comment one way or another. I thought that Gambling Wages and APCW were tight.

And by the way, no money and no contact with Silver Oak. I would imagine they hope I go away. :D

Duh! BTW, glad you didn't risk any real money with such a skanky casino. Someone really needs to put the smack down on these shisters. It's still like the wild west out there.

This group offers such good bonuses (and they can be redeemed infinite times) and cash back, that you're almost guaranteed to win in the long run -- provided that you don't play much past the wagering requirements, or reverse your withdrawal, (and that they pay out in the end.)

So how do they make money? By taking a long time processing cash outs. Many players care more about "play time" than cashing out a win, and so will reverse their withdrawal or parts of it. These kinds of players seem to get preferential treatment with respect to cashout times.

If you have the patience to wait for a withdrawal without reversing it (or parts of it), then you're not the type of customer they want so they don't care if you don't deposit again.

That's my theory...

The payout department hasn't answered my e-mail I sent them some days ago.

Scam. I think the casino has ran out of gas.

Bjrn x Hi, is Mike K working?
Paola: Welcome to Silver Oak Casino! How can I assist you today?
Paola: Not yet can you try in 45 minutes

The Live Support is a joke. Like robots.

Knows nothing, just have every question prewritten.

OK, I can't say I didn't give out fair warning.

roslilj,

Forget about trying to get much out of live chat. Call them on the phone. You might get lucky and get Mike. I did a couple of times.

Just keep dogging them if it's worth it to you. Like I said, I kept at it because it became a matter of principle and besides, I didn't deposit my money and if they really became pissy and didn't pay, oh well. I would just post what a crappy casino they were all over the web.

roslilj,

Call them and have them give you the WU tracking number for your cashout. Then go now to a WU center and pick up your money before they decided to cancell it. If they can't give you a tracking number, they probably haven't sent it.

As for Virtual, as I recall, they are a part of that group.

Hi Anniemac, of course they sent the mtcn number. I will go after work tomorrow to Forex bank which are the only ones doing buisness with moneygram in sweden.

cheers and thanks

Thank you for the Silver Oak Warning!!!!

Based on how they handle withdrawals, they don't seem like the same operation as Virtual. They are part of the group formerly known as the Chrystal Palace group.

Thank God for Casinomiester forums....I got an offer from Silver Oak in the mail the other day....seems I am a "Level 5 VIP" at a casino I've never played at before.....things that make you go hmmmmmmmm? Anyway, the promo goes on to say that they give away 10 trips to "all over the Globe" per month, and AS a "Level 5 VIP" player I am already eligible to win - for the rest of my life, no less. So I was really scratching my coconut to see where they would have gotten my home address and all my details. Back in my stupider gambling days I played at Virtual (I know, I know...) so I guess that solves the mystery. Anyway, this promo sounded too good to be true, so I wanted to see what the Casinomeister-ers had to say about them before I put any money on board. Needless to say, the promo just went in the trash. thanks guys!!! :)

It looks like they ARE part of the Virtual group after all. The Virtual group set up a website called Casinomasterlive(dot)com, and on it advertised the Virtual casinos, AND their "ahem" supposed COMPETITORS, the old Crystal Palace group. Not only this, but BOTH sets of casinos were offering the EXACT same welcome promo, using the EXACT same code, and the EXACT same terms and conditions. WHY would they not "compete" against each other, like proper competing casino groups would. It looks like they are not "competing" simply because they are ALL part of Virtual.
The Crystal Palace casinos were even rebranded because of the poor reputation they had, and the idea was to make players think they were newcomers. This gave the owners (Virtual:rolleyes:) a chance to lure the unwary, and players who were already well aware of which Virtual casinos to avoid, but would try out a "new" casino with no bad press just to see what it was like.
