How many times am I going to be dragged to live chat because of "technical issues" or some other bullshit?

This time at Casinoeuro.

I deposited £20 and took a £10 bonus with a 40x wager on the £10 - £400 to wager. After wagering £232 my progress bar was "stuck" at 28% when I had 58% done.

Current progress according to Casinoeuro.jpg

I'll post a brief transcript from the chat.

Robert : Hi, my name is Robert.
Paddy: Hi Robert.
Paddy: I made a £20 and accepted a £10 bonus.
Paddy: Terms state there is 40x wagering on the £10, making a requirement of £400
Paddy: I've wagered over £230
Paddy: And states I am at 28%
Paddy: How is this?
Paddy: It was at 28% and I made 200 spins on Thunderstruck 2 which is £60
Paddy: And it's just stuck at that.
Robert: Hello Paddy. I will check this right away.
Paddy: Thanks Robert.
Robert: Thank you for waiting Paddy. I looked into your account and I see that you need to wager an minimum of 287.60 GBP
Paddy: Excuse me?
Paddy: Why is that?
Paddy: I have wagered over £230 of £400
Robert: The wagering requirements are 40
Paddy: On the £10 correct?
Paddy: Only on the bonus?
Paddy: Just a second.
Robert: Yes of course.

Paddy: Tell me how much I have currently staked?
Paddy: Because it's not £113.40
File attachment upload has started.
The file Current wagering.jpg (451.66KB) was received.

Paddy: Have a look.
Paddy: I've been tracking my session
Paddy: So not only is my wagering not been updated (I'm also being cheated by this I may add), I'm also been lied to.
Paddy: being*
Robert: I am really sorry. Did you also look in your account on Casinoeuro?
Paddy: YES!
Paddy: It states 28% wagering completed
Paddy: Despite it being almost 57%
Paddy: It was 28% before I opened Thunderstruck II
Paddy: I played £60 worth of spins and it was still at 28%
Paddy: And now you are telling me I still have over £287.60 to go?
Paddy: How did you come to that conclusion?
Paddy: You must be seeing that I've only wagered £113.40
Paddy: Which is completely wrong.
Paddy: As you can see from my screenshot from Slot Tracker

I really really feel like if it was not for having Slot Tracker running I would have been screwed or we'd have kept going in circles.

I'm just going to say it outright, I'm finding it hard to believe it wasn't deliberate. Say what you will, but how many other unsuspecting players is this happening to right now? Only I'm not daft, and don't like being shafted.

Casino's make every effort to enforce their rules, so I make every effort to ensure they follow them as much as I do.

Luckily I had Irrefutable proof from a Slot Tracker screenshot! Oh and he didn't even explain why, I had to find out myself that my progress updated after nearly an hour.

So pissed off.

Doesn't surprise me one bit.
It needs proper regulation, those that say casinos have this live in the world of flying donkeys and aliens.
You're spending your own cash, you have almost no protection, it's bad enough it's a gamble in the first place, but to have a further gamble after gambling because you don't know if the casino will be honest or decent is absolutely shocking!... the agents at most places are about as much use as a dunover video with no swearing or abuse. Not all of course, but this place pradominantly exists because of let's be honest, shit service and worse practice by (certain) casinos...

but but... it was geninue mistake !

^;.;^

casinos are our friend, and they mean no harm to us. I refuse to believe they would do such a thing !
:D

I think casinos are very well aware that 99% of players trust what it says on the screen and cannot be arsed to manually check their wagering.

This does little to restore my faith in them

Exactly, and if they don't try it how do they know if they can get away with it or not?

Sure there are going to be some who believe it to be a simple technical issue, but my actual wagering was no doubt at hand to the support agent, who told me I still had £287 to go

Haha indeed

It's hard not to trust a CS agent who appears on screen as Robert and opens with "Hi, my name is Robert" :what:

That would annoy me big time. :(

I always believe live chat because they're so sweet. Usually they don't have a clue and neither do I

What is slot tracker by the way? I haven't heard much about it.

Ah, well wagering is complete now.

Wagering Complete.jpg

Or is it?

Still bonus money.jpg

And here we are.jpg

Fuck that shit...I'm not going to live chat again for another 45 minutes, I'll blow it away, but they'll NEVER see another penny from me

Sorry Mina, I was (am) so pissed off, I skimmed by your post without really reading it.

Slot Tracker is an application/program designed by a member here Tropicana50. You download an add-on for your browser (Only works with Chrome) and download another little piece of software called an "Event Tracker".

You need the two. They work together so that when you log into it and then open up your preferred casino, it will track every single one of your spins and include crucial information about how many spins, bonuses, average bonus wins and your RTP :)

Very useful, but If you're poor like me and can't afford the premium version, then it will only record data for 24 hours.

Here's the thread about it: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/slot-tracker-progress.74976/

Thanks so much for that, I might try it out and what a clever idea :)

just a warning, it can't tell which slots have reduced WR contributions or which are excluded.

Of course, I am aware of this obviously ;)

However all slots contribute 100% towards wagering on Casineuro...some games are of course excluded from being able to be played.

I've Emailed them asking for a full investigation into this bullshit and sent them all the proof.

I've also embarrassingly but rightfully imo asked for at least my deposit back. I've never done this before, and used Paysafe. I would never ever ask for a refund if I didn't feel cheated. This isn't about being a sore loser as I was ahead and legitimately met the wagering requirements. I would have withdrawn that stingy £30 as I had "done the job" and luck was out.

And now I have to seem like a twat by asking, whereas you see people actually abusing charge backs. :(

vote with your wallet and dont play there again. and based on your bonus experience, id strongly suggest everyone to avoid them for time being.

its just that casinos can do no wrong. and if they do, they just reply with 1 liner from their 4000 pages long T&C that covers just about everything. Its probably gonna stay that way til people start taking them to the court and scamming people becomes less profitable than it is now.

yeah, but then again, in that scenario, the Casinos will have a lot more funds to drag out the legal process and hire even better lawyers than they already employ. I totally get what you're saying and agree, but don't really see and end to it, even if the high rollers stopped playing, they'll still have enough fish to get some profits from. They cover every scenario in the T&C's so even if it goes to court, they can argue you should have known. There's no way a billion dollar industry like this is going to leave things like profit to chance, after all, they have to forecast it too. Good luck

Hi,

This is obviously not good. We've just identified the issue, and it's that a lot of the bets on the game Playboy have gotten "stuck" in the system and thus haven't counted towards the wagering. Normally, of course, all finished bets are considered complete so this is not a normal issue.

We're trying to identify whether it's related to this game or if it's a one off, and we're doing some internal testing as well as discussing with the provider and with internal tech teams. However we haven't seen any other examples of this yet, and I just managed to play the same game with bonus money without getting the same issue so hopefully we'll be able to narrow it down soon enough.

Regards,
Alex

...and how are you going to compensate Chipkin?

Maybe you could play playboy without errors as the error was on Thunderstruck 2 according to the OP

Good that you replied and gave compensation

The amount missing from the wagering was the equivalent of the total amount of the stuck transactions in Playboy, so we're confident that's where the issue was. I've done some testing on Thunderstruck II as well and can't replicate the issue, but we're still trying to find out WHY this happened of course.

THIS! So much.

Its not even a case of necessarily being cheated, the casinos just don´t care enough to enter a dispute, if you break a term, thats it.

If they break a term, thats never it. You´ll get some bonus in the end but only if you make enough of a fuss about it.

I get it, technical errors happen, but STOP BRUSHING OFF CUSTOMER ISSUES AS NON-EXISTANT. Not everybody going to live-chat is trying to rip the casino off or try and gain some advantage.

The agent looks at the account and sees the remaining wager, fine. The agent gets told "this isn´t right", he still says "it says it here in your account". Don´t do that, ever. Investigate, even if its a hassle, make sure you have a solution ready, and cut the bullshit. Don´t force people to post about this to speed this up. Your customer has a problem with your product, make sure you help him.

Rant over.

I'd have PM'd you privately about any other matter, but this was affecting a larger pool of people than just myself, and I felt a duty to warn other players about this mishap.

I appreciate the team trying to resolve the issue and refunding me the amount of the D+B, but this simply should never ever happen at an accredited casino with a 9.1 Rating.

What about all the other unsuspecting players that this has happened to and they didn't even care too much to track their wagering progress?

Also for the record, Playboy wasn't the only game where wagering was getting "stuck". After 200 spins (£60 bets worth) on Thunderstruck II the progress was still stuck at 28%.

I played Warlords well after I had met wagering and my balance was stuck at 92%, even after playing it. From 58% (This was after speaking with live chat and they "sorted" the issue) my wagering was flying perfectly right up until the 92% point. And I played playboy once more and this was after I had legitimately met wagering, so playboy can't be to blame for it getting stuck at 92% again.

I really enjoy the Daily Deal promo at Casinoeuro, it was one of my favourites, but I cannot in good faith feel comfortable playing at Casinoeuro after this.

It does kind of throw the credibility of the casino out of the window. It makes you think if there are other accredited casino's out there experiencing similar.
