Seems very odd given that you are also an affiliate. Even odder is that they are treating you like a criminal in the way they are handling this. If they will do this to you, an affiliate and business partner, they will happily do this to players with no "pull" at all. As well as no longer promoting them, you should blacklist them. You could also take this up with your affiliate manager, who will be a different branch of the company with different targets to achieve. He will see this as an issue of turning an affiliate who promotes them to one which warns players to stay away because of questionable business practices. At the very least, he will try to find out what is behind this in order to salvage the situation to the extent that you don't blacklist them.

Given that this is "security" driven, even your affiliate account might be closed on similar grounds, which will screw you out of ongoing revenue, not just an account.

HI Guys,

I am looking into this now and will get back to to each of you with a PM shortly.

Thanks

Ross

Can you show me where they intimated that he was a criminal or treated him as such? Here you go again.

A "business decision" is just that. If a casino wants to close your account, it is their right to do so, just as its your right to say "$&%# you" and play elsewhere.

Looks to me like the OP didn't do much of his own research before recommending SIA to his players.....his account was closed in July 2012, so he obviously hasn't played there since then and probably a time before.

Given it is an accredited casino, how about giving them a chance to look into the matter? It might be a misunderstanding, or maybe we don't have all the facts?

No wonder so many reps won't participate here.....first this one gets sandblasted with a complaint in a CM Special Promo area that should have been handled via PM, and then gets stuff like "blacklist" and "treats players like criminals" thrown at him without any chance to find out what happened. Honestly.

To be honest though mate, the player's actions/account activity aside - that's pretty shocking customer service regardless.

Any casino that basically throws a T&C's link at someone as an explanation for anything is pretty poor...

A business decision is one thing, delivering and conveying that in a fair and reputable manner is another.

Hi Nifty I have never advertised them yet. I only signed up to their affiliate program. Reason I said I will not be promoting a casino / program where they suddenly can close a players account without reason! (sorry let me explain I found out never got them put up, and now as I am getting better up to scratch with my sites. I though will start promoting them. And I would give them a test by making deposit soon.)

Please scratch all the rubbish above I am not thinking clear sorry. Was off yesterday as been sick from Wednesday night throwing up / being very sick. And just been back into work today. Just got home earlier and really exhausted. I am not thinking straight

I did start promoting their Sportsbook. As I did do my research on that Nifty. But I was promoting them under the Olympics in London. Special section at my forum I did. Which since was taken down. Reason I forgot about them. But NO I have never promoted their Casino. Sorry guys just not feeling well. I just don't wanna delete or change what already written. Take it as you like ;)

Also Nifty I have given them chances back from last year. And also no I have never played there. I only opened account with them way back in time.
Reason I though could be because of inactivity. Also never made deposits there. Reason I got upset about this, if they had told me fine you never used your account and therfor we don't want you. Then fine I can accept that. But when they can't even give me explanation. And even security can't tell me reason or support will not even forward my request to management. Instead they show me it was management decision. What else can I do?

BUT yes you are right I should not had put this out in that thread. And Yes I should had tried sorting this with PM for Rep. And I am sorry about that. Will give apology out for this now and thanks to The Meister for moving post as well

Sorry, did I miss something? What's this about an account?

Hi Max yes I was just joking around. That I would have to make a PAB for not having an account / getting account closed without reason. This not anything to do with bonus issue or something PAB is normal about. :p

I would like to say thank you to REP here from SIASports. It has now been resolved. My account has been reopened.
But I am still curious as to why it was closed. I will ask about this and update this thread when I get response.

I just need to know why it is happening. And if there is a good explanation behind it then I will be happy. And good to know for other players out there.

Very well said. It's bloody time the casinos show some respect to players. A T&C link as an explanation? Bullshit!

When they come back with "security" mentioned in a deliberately evasive response to a request for an explanation, this IS "being treated like a criminal". We all accept that when "security" gets involved, the "business decision" is based on suspicion of there being a high risk of fraud on the account. If it was merely a matter of inactivity, they would have said so. They also implied suspicion of fraud when they stressed to the OP the "one account per person" aspect of the terms, and then told the OP that the account would remain closed, which is NOT the norm when an inactive account is closed, but the player decides they will play after all.

Though the account has been reopened, the failure to offer an explanation even now makes it seem they really didn't want to budge on this, but had to because they did this to the "wrong person", not a player without a voice, but an affiliate who knew the best way to air this particular grievance.

Businesses never "call a spade a spade", so it is often a matter of "reading between the lines" in order to get closer to the truth when they are issuing a load of BS, or "spin" as it is known in the PR industry.

Even without the suggestion of potential fraud, the CS provided was truly shocking given that this is an accredited casino. They gave a link to the terms, yet this was a case where terms were irrelevant, this was a decision taken outside the remit of the terms, a "special case" decision spawned by the "security department". It is also very odd that as a player the OP is considered "high risk", yet as an affiliate he is not. The CS responses also show that no proper internal appeal process was being followed, with any attempt to get a review done via normal channels being kicked back straight away with the BS canned response and link to the terms.

When judging a casino, it is how they treat players who are NOT members of a forum such as CM that really matters. It should not be the case that repeated attempts to resolve an issue through normal channels are stonewalled, yet solved within a day as soon as a rep here is involved, and then brushed aside as though it was merely a minor misunderstanding.

Okay though would update on this. There will not be any answers or reasons on why my account was locked / closed.

How can I be sure that my account suddenly will not be closed again, when I might have got lucky and if won big amount of money??? :what:

I never played a single cent here or any deposits. I though might had been closed because of inactivity. I would say that would be quite easy to explain with out breaking down their security measures?

Despite my player account got reopened. I have made decision to cease any affiliate work and not do any more promotions also remove anything I had already put up. I will also be requesting to have my own account closed for good again.

I will give it a last try through email to security but it will be final. I can see other players even here are getting problems with account locked. And had interesting PM from a friendly member here at Casinomeister with information.

Let this stand as well. I am not doing this as a threat or to try and put pressure onto the REP here. I am simply just updating you guys on the outcome here

Though will finish off with big thank you to our REP here. I know this is not at all his fault, he is doing a great job here. Also been doing good job with the Free Chip giveaway under special promotions. So no harsh feelings at all.

Please see answers from our REP here. Just to inform everyone who ever has problems with account closing etc. you will not get any answer on why

Re: SIA Complaint
Hi xxxxxx,

Unfortunatley not - we cannot share our internal procedures as it could compromise our security.

I hope you understand.

Thanks

And for future respect and corporation also in regards to my Affiliate work and interest for safety of my players or coming players.

I need a full explanation. Also would be nice if allowed to post the response in forum thread.

Thanks
