Did you keep playing or did you cash out? I noticed that you lost nearly $5,000 in between your progressive hit and the T-Rex hit. If you were willing to lose 5k and still play at $80/spin that's a bit worrying, even a large amount like $100,000 won't last long at this kind of pace and the casino will get it all back in a breeze. Hope you'll do the right thing.

Keep in mind that $100,000 for $400 is a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

Well, line "play" increases in sense as the bet increases: I always do it either when almost broke, or when i am way ahead.

When i am almost broke it's because the lines most likely to generate a win (on some slots) are 1 to 9, so this gives me a 9 ct spin on any slot with 15 lines or more.
So say on your last buck, on a 25 line slot this would simply increase your bankroll from 4 x bet to 10 x bet.

But if your with a good bankroll and take a slot on it's max coin size, your looking for the top hit,and pretty much every Free-Spin round or good 5OAK will be a top hit on max bet: at the same time ANY line you "drop" will "save" you a whopping 5,-
So in this case his 16 lines save him 45,-per spin, or put otherwise, every second spin he earns one back.

I think when you look at it like that you can see it's a careful weighing of increasing your bankroll <-> minimizing your "chance" to miss something, which is always a risk with playing less lines

Actually I have found that I rarely win big if I am at max bet. I typically start out reducing the lines by between 4-7 lines and gradually increase when it stops hitting at that line wager.

I have the same with a couple of slots,I mostly win when I decrease the amount of lines played.
Maybe a coincidence but I know what you mean buddy.
Max lines bet is what I normally play to have max chances of hitting a win but for some reason I am more comfortable with less lines on certain slots.

For some of the RTG games, since there's a cap based on line bet rather than max bet, you have a better chance of not exceeding that cap with playing less than max lines. Since it's 50,000 x line bet, both a $80 spin and a $125 spin both have a chance to hit a max of $250,000. I've often wondered how that cap changes TRTP on a handful of games we see the cap most often.

Yeah the variance is INSANE ... Managed a 2000x bet on it recently but I have tried about $350 with bonuses for about a $500 balance on 0.25c bets as a test run and lost the lot prior to that... Greedy Game and you can easily lose your socks.
